Have you ever used pills, supplements, special vitamins, natural potions to lose weight and/or have an opinion on using these things to lose weight?

I've never used any of these things to lose weight. I don't think that any of the over-the-counter items work and are a waste of money. I also don't believe in diet pills from a doctor. I'm not sure how well they work and how safe they are over the long term. Part of it is me (when I have the right attitude) being able to lose weight following Weight Watchers so I don't see the need for these items. I think there needs to be more education about proper nutrition, how to lose weight safely in a healthy and sustainable fashion, how to get your mental game in order, and how to adopt a reasonable exercise plan.

When I was at my highest weight my doctor gave me a prescription for a weak diet pill but only for 6 months.I don't think the diet pill helped so much as my motivation to lose weight.I have not tried anything since.

Nope...did imbue a candle with my desires and light it in 1998 before starting in on the new points program WW started and did reach goal weight in 1999. Always wondered if it was the "magick" of the candle burning overnight, the intent or what exactly happened to make that time and the time in 1984 work...wonder if I need to get out another candle...

When I was young (late teens, early 20s?) I went to one of those "doctors" who gave you injections of something (I can't remember what; hey, I was a dingy young girl) . It was totally bogus and I stopped almost immediately.
Other than that, no.

Nope, it never made sense and didn't seem healthy at all. I feel the same way about those Jenny Craig-type meal delivery schemes too. If you can only lose weight eating prepared foods delivered to your home, that's just not sustainable for life and isn't teaching you how to change your unhealthy behaviors so I just don't see the point.
