How do you plan to handle Halloween?

When I went to Wal-Mart the other day for one thing I ended up buying a big bag of candy. I have trouble gauging how much to get so I know I got too much. Luckily we can take the left-overs down to the front desk at the police station. It has chocolate pieces and what I'll probable do is have one of each of the type of chocolate about 9:00 p.m. when the trick-or-treating is over. They are very small pieces.

I know some groups on Facebook are posting the points of the miniature and fun size candy.Thank goodness we live in the country and no little ones live out here.If I were to eat any it would be the mini Reese's PB cups.I think I read they are 1 SP each.

borntexan, I forget if this mix has those. The peanut butter cups were my favorite before I lost weight but since then I just taste the sugar when I eat them. That said if they are in the mix I'll probably have some.

I don't think I have had any since I have been back on WW and I was wondering if I could even stand the sugar in them now.I find there are a lot of desserts, candy or cookies I can no longer eat because they taste too sweet.DH loves Almond Joy so I buy him a package of the miniature ones. One day I took a small bite and thought I was going to be sick from the sugar taste.I guess that's a good thing.

Not a problem here...no trick-or-treat or Halloween. That said...if roads clear up there will be a Halloween party to attend the 31st...will do my best.
One of my granddaughter's dentists took in the candy from her patients and sent it to the military overseas...I think others take donations for the military or homeless or soup kitchens. I would probably do something like that.

I am very picky about candy. I want salted dark chocolate with caramel filling only. Halloween candy doesn't appeal, with the exception of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup with coffee on the side. I don't have any Reese's yet; the grocery store was sold out. I will probably pick some up from the drugstore as it seems to be the trick or treaters' favorite. I will probably have a couple.

I don't 'do' Halloween anymore so it's a non issue for me. But I do have someone I do business with who always has a very LARGE bowl of chocolate 'Halloween' type candy out for clients. I rarely see him without taking a piece though I've been known to abstain at times! He has everything in that bowl, but my favorite is Almond Joys...that soft, sweet coconut filling gets me everytime! That and York peppermint patties. You guys can fight over the Reese's, I'll be sitting over in the corner quietly enjoying my York's and Almond Joys...

surfgirl, There's Almond Joys in the bag I got. I haven't opened it yet but I think all the candy is smaller than fun size. Towards the end of the night I'll be giving the kids handfuls.
