Thanks for the start, Karen.
Just checking in, in case I don’t make it back later. I was the human alarm clock again. Iggy had to be at the office by 7, so they could take the company van to Indianapolis. If I had something to measure my battery, it would be very low. I am a little sleep deprived this week.
Karen, I hope the knees and leg are doing okay before your Osteo.
Liz, how was the PT?
Linda, I like the cat eye readers. They are a good shape for your face. That’s a good photo with the new cut and color.
Waving to Becky and Kathy.

Chele, your fall weather sounds a lot better than mine. I remember the sound of leaves skittering across the road from when I've visited the mountains during the fall. Interesting on them vacuuming the leaves. That's definitely not a service we have here. I hope you can catch up on your sleep soon.
Liz, I think the malls are declining everywhere. Our Macy's closed and the only anchor stores left are Dillards and Sears. The Sears is closing later this year. There is a proposal to build apartments in the space where the Macy's is. It's an interesting concept since it would put a lot of people right there and it would probably generate more business for them. The PT sounds intense, so no wonder you've been a bit tired. Any news on the telecommuting approval? It's amazing that it's taking so long.
Karen, DN won't hear anything on the internships until late November or early December. Our cool day yesterday took us all the way down to 85, so no, I'm not out walking yet. We've had highs in the 90s this week, so this is hot even for FL this time of year. We were supposed to get storms today, but so far I haven't seen any. Glad the vet visit went so well. Arya really has made progress with walking in on her own.
Linda, nice pictures!
Becky, can't believe you zoomed all the way down to lows in the 40s! Ours are still in the 70s, so I'll be glad when they at least get into the 60s. I'm tired of the heat and humidity.

Becky, that's interesting that your Chinese VMs are coming from different area codes. Atlanta is the nearest really large city, which is why I think that's why mine are all from that area code. I know 512 includes Austin and there are lots of Asians there. So that makes sense. I like my hair a little longer in the cooler months as well. I tend to keep it long enough to cover my ears at night even in the summer because of that scene in the Star Trek movie, The Wrath of Khan. I'm surprised your temperatures have cooled as much as they have. Wish you'd get some rain. I got over 8 hours of sleep last night and thought I slept well, but my body battery was only at 46 this morning, having been at 100 for the last couple of mornings. Weird....
I like your hair, Linda! Short after it being long for a while does take an adjustment. I hope they're right about your getting the last of your 90s.
Chele, did you take a nap to recharge your battery? How do you sleep when Iggy is away but not on the other side of the country or the other side of the world? Maybe you can take a lazy day tomorrow and stay in bed til Noon. What's on the menu, since you aren't cooking?
All the way down to 85 yesterday, Kathy? Did you have to get out a sweater? Sorry your hot weather continues. Hope you'll get some rain to cool things down a bit. Sorry it's still too warm for walking outdoors. We were shocked when Arya walked in and out on her own. Dogs don't have great depth perception, so her reluctance getting out of the car was apparently that and not fear, which is good. I think she is finally starting to trust us unconditionally, so it's good that we both went yesterday. BTW, this week's Publix ad has B&J's on BOGO. I stopped before Osteo, so I didn't get any. It would have been liquid by the time I got home.
Liz, was today a PT day? Any word from St. Crazy, with your boss supposedly back today?
Had a good Osteo day. I had an all-time high on the leg press machine. I started thinking about why I didn't seem to be getting as much push as I thought I should and thought maybe it was because I was pushing the soles of my shoes and they were pushing the plate. So I took off my shoes (told Dale I cut out the middle man) and it felt much better and the results were very good. I have improved by 43% since I started last November. My goal is to get to 50% by the end of the year, so I'm really close. Stopped at the bank and then took a load of glass recycling on my way home. When I got home, I had to get things ready to go work the master gardener craft fair tomorrow. So if I check in, it will be late. I will get in lots of steps tomorrow. I'm afraid the building is going to be like a meat locker again, with the chilly nights we've had this week. I'm layering up and hope it will be enough. I'm taking food because the concession stand won't have anythig I can eat. I am donating the Doctor Who scarf that took first place at the fair to the silent auction and hope there will be a Doctor Who fan in the crowd who "needs" it.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Chele It sounds like your body battery would be a 5.That's as low as it goes.Mine is at 5 but I don't feel that tired.I did go to bed too late so not a lot of sleep.
Kathy Right now it is still 82 and humid. They just said the cool front will be here around 6:00.Hopefully it will bring rain and not storms. It snowed in the TX Panhandle.
Karen Our temps haven't cooled yet but it's coming. They said today will probably be the warmest day for the rest of the year.My body battery was in the 30's but I only got 4 1/2 hrs sleep after not going to bed until midnight. It's now at 5.
Waves to all.

Good evening chicks and thanks for the start Karen,
Chele - you need to shut that human alarm clock off and allow yourself some much needed rest! PT was another pretty intense session as strengthening the leg muscles around the hip is the focus right now along with building stability. Did just over 6,200 steps yesterday and today I was very tuckered out. Did a couple loads of laundry and some laps but laid low otherwise. I loke your avatar very much!
Linda - your haircut looks terrific and that's a very nice picture. Keeping fingers crossed that you really don't have any more 90s. Work folks have been idiots, I agree. A simple signature would have resolved the request 4 days ago! Like the others, I have always kept my hair longer during the cooler/cold weather. I really like having it cover my neck and wear scarves frequently.
Karen - congrats on the leg press at OSTEO; you've truly made great progress! It's nice having the week to myself but frustrating as the hospital is crazier than normal and the ER hit an all time high 3 times now in 2 weeks. Even working from home I could head off a number of issues and provide guidance and direction to the team. Good luck with theB
Becky - that's some large temp swing from the 40s to the 80s in a day. Thanks for the WW info; they keep sending me emails multiple times a day.
I am off to feed the pups and Garry should be walking in shortly. Have a good evening and Ciao for Now~
