So I was trying for the millionth time to fix the messages section on the app. Last one I got was months ago and it still has that stupid (1) on it.
While i I was checking and unchecking options for email and push notifications I saw one under email for "weekly progress reports." It was checked, but in all the years I have been on WW I have never seen one.
So my question is, do these even exist? Has anyone ever received one?

Deb, I think there is something wrong with messages (again.) For a while they drove me nuts, then I was able to delete them for a long time...now it says I have (2), but I have nada.
Not sure what the weekly progress reports are except those messages the app.

Same here... I was getting weekly messages... for some reason the past 2 weeks show no message but there is a mysterious 2 listed there. IT kids playing with us again?

Yesterday, I changed my profile from weight loss to maintenance, and now I am getting all these WW emails saying "welcome to Weight Watchers" and "you've made the first step"?? Gotta love their IT department.

Are you talking about messages in journey? Mine are sporadic, got one 2 weeks ago and the previous one was months ago.

Ha! Glad I am not the only one this time with the messages. Good old WW IT! Got to love them!
This is what I found and was wondering about under settings > account settings > communication > email
"Never miss a Progress Report
Send me a weekly reminder when my Plan Manager Progress Reports are ready, so I can see my personal stats in easy-to-read charts and graphs."
