Thanks for the start Chele.I read somewhere it's also national nachos day.I have neither nachos or a saxophone.
Linda It is unusual to see nobody else posting.Everyone must be really busy. You have been busy too.Enjoy dinner out.
We had errands to run today. My knee is not working well with the recumbent bike.I have a portable elliptical I can do sitting down and then walk in the house for the rest of my steps.I will try that tomorrow at least until I find out what the surgeon has to say.
Liz I hope your trip to the city went as well as could be expected.
Waving to all.

Chele, thanks for the start. I didn't know there was a saxophone day! I finally got to the grocery store today. The weather guessers said we'll have a fall like day this weekend with highs in the mid 70s. It doesn't last long before it's back into the 80s. At least we're out of the 90s for now.
Linda, I was wondering about Liz's trip into the city too. Hope everything went well. There was a courthouse shooting in Orlando years ago and they've had tight security in the downtown area ever since. I had to go through security screening like they have at the airport when I had jury duty. The insurance red tape is so frustrating. Enjoy your dinner out.
Waving to Karen, Liz, and Becky. Must be a busy day!

Thanks for the start, Chele. It's also National Nachos Day. Dale was a sax player up until college and it was one of my favorite instruments even before I met him. Are you expecting winter weather? I heard that the Cincy suburbs really turned out for the KY governor's race and made a big impact.
Linda, thanks for the comprehensive list on the recalls. I have had some of those Nourish Bowls but none recently. Cops installing security cameras and software? Guess they're too cheap to have a professional do it. No wonder they were frustrated. I can understand why they need the extra security if the council is meeting there. I saw something on the news a couple of months ago from a council meeting somewhere out there and there were some definite nut cases. Not surprised about the Medicare run around. I wonder how many people just say the h&!! with it and pay it on their own and not file. How frustrating for the clerk. What did you have for dinner?
You got a quick ortho appointment, Becky. Is it in Round Rock? I hope you get a good one and they think PT is at least initially worth a shot. Then I hope you get a great PT. Is there a local center for that? There are a lot of PT centers around here, so I hope you will have the same and won't have to drive very far. How did your amendments do on the ballot. Were they county or state?
Liz, hope the day wasn't too difficult. Been thinking about you.
Did you spend time with DM and the aunts, Kathy? When is grocery day?
I spent just about the entire afternoon outside extricating the elderberries and blueberries from the weeds that had taken over since the weather got so hot, some taller than me. They apparently liked the heat. I think one of my blueberries bit the dust but hopefully the rest will do ok next year. I used soil acidifier and mulched them all really good. Then I did a little weeding in one of the raised beds so I could plant the seed garlic. Hopefully next June I will have 44 heads of garlic. It was so wet last winter that I planted 30 seeds and got about 14 heads and they were mostly small ones. WOW! Am I ever tired, and my lower back is bothering me a little so I have on a prophylactic heating pad. With Osteo being tomorrow, it probably wasn't the best day to be out doing manual labor, but it was mid 60s and sunny and it's 100% chance of rain tomorrow and then turning colder. So you do what you can when you can. After Osteo, I need to go to BB&B for a new bath rug. Ours has finally started to disintigrate and I have a coupon. Not much else planned and basketball game tomorrow evening. Both men's and women's teams won last night. Off to a good start, but the women's game was a pretty ugly win.

Linda, insurance is such a PITA. I can’t believe police officers had to install cameras and software.Apparently, there is no IT or tech services department. I can see why you would need it for city council meetings. Where did you go for dinner? Liz, I hope all went well with the commute and that it did not cause a set back in your recovery. I am pretty sure you lost another piece of your mind during the meeting. Becky, you’re right. Probably best to avoid any exercise that is aggravating the knee. I didn’t have any nachos today either. I had Kenny G’s famous/infamous instrumental running through my head all day. Kathy, now is when it is good to be in Florida. We are expecting 1-2 inches of snow on the grassy areas tomorrow but it should not stick to the roads or sidewalks, because they are still warm. It’s not the earliest we’ve had snow. It snowed on Halloween a few years ago. Karen, you worked your butt off in the garden today. This time of year you have to garden when the weather is good enough. I love BB&B for kitchen gadgets. Yup, definitely getting a taste of winter tomorrow. The Cincinnati airport is in Covington, Kentucky. That’s why its 3 letter code is CVG. Newport, KY is just on the other side of the river from Cincinnati. Three quarters of my company’s Cincinnati office lived in Kentucky. Nepotism flourished there. I can’t believe you all beat me here today. I went out and got a hair cut and wandered on the south side of town for awhile, stopped at the Italian deli on the way home and brought back baked rigatoni. Iggy wasn’t hungry, so we have a lot of leftovers. Tomorrow will be a hum drum day of chores. Today was too beautiful a day to stay inside.
