This thread is for all of us who have been on the weight loss merry-go-round quite a few times. We have banded together to make this our FINAL time. We offer support & motivation, WEIGHT LOSS TIPS, food ideas – whatever you need to make it your FINAL time. If you start the day’s thread, please copy and paste this paragraph.

We are WORTH IT Wednesday! YES.WE.ARE.... Worth every minute we put into ourselves - which isn't a lot, I'm sure... BUT with every minute we are planning - and tracking - and working towards a healthy outcome - We.Are.Worth.It.!
So as discussed yesterday - my Day 6 of Grateful is you all... my friends - this board - the friendships we have created over the years... I am grateful to have you all here to chat with - to cry with - to vent to... and even discuss weight loss with! LOL It's friendships that I never in my life imagined would or could come out of this WW board 13 years ago!! So thank you to all - for allowing me to barge into your lives each day - and for taking time to let me into your lives as well ♥
Yesterday was a BUST of a day... AVOID WAL-GREENS this week! UGH! Deb went there on her walk... and brought back Halloween Candy... a WHOLE Shopping Bag FULL - all 75% off! SO today I must remain more in control - I let the emotions of the day take over, and well, the day went to Hell early on!! What's NOT "helping" is I am not "hungry" much - not much appetite... but when I eat, it is NOT my healthy planned snacks or lunch... NEED to regain my focus!!
So let me refill my coffee and see if I can catch up ♥

Gabrielle: Hoping your track day went well... Glad you have so much to be thankful for too - I know... I tend to see the negative in every situation - so I need to turn it around, and this seems the perfect time to do it! So daily I need to think of something to be thankful for... now IF I had my journal out each day - I would still be doing this...
Well, the week of decisions has come to a grinding halt! Apparently Matt doesn't have all the discs and films he needs for the trip to MA Gen... and they ONLY take "New Esophageal Cancer" patients in on Wednesdays! I am not sure how to view that... that this specific cancer has it's own DAY!?? Anyway... he has missed the "cut off" to be seen today - so hoping today to set up the appointment for next Wednesday. Tracy is trying to rearrange her training next Wednesday so that she can drive them in... she drives in and out of there ALL the time - in an ambulance... so if she is able to go - he'd appreciate the ride! So no more "updates" until next Wednesday probably!
Birthday "celebration" was odd... but happy to have us all together. There was pasta, and sauces, and cake involved... UGH!
Sue: Yup, these cold mornings are already "tough" to deal with! We too are expecting snow this weekend... I don't believe it will be "much", but around here ya' never know!!
Lisa: Oh WOW... yeah crutches for that long? UGH... YAY for you getting over that!! So much to be thankful for... OH nice... I didn't know you were on another thread before! YAY to friendships that carry through.
Oh Sue... YIKES, how scary... to see the cars and think what could have happened... Hoping it IS totaled so they can just move on with a new car, and not have to deal with the fixing and the worries that may follow a huge "fix" like that!
Yeah... I think it was the phlegm and snotty nose that lade our girl "sick"... no signs of anything else - and was fine when she got up - so off to school she went!
OMG How rude!! I just can't imagine dealing with a witch like Amanda!! Poor Sarah... poor Josh... poor COLTON!
Yikes... having to roll in those 15 payments may make it tough to save money - but I guess if they get "enough" for the van... get it paid then start over... such a mess... but still would make the most sense - to total that one and move forward!

Good Morning ~ cold out there this dark morning but at least no rain today. Tomorrow? Um, yeah, that rain will be turning into the white stuff - so today will be a good day to enjoy Fall! DD23 is up and about. She is driving to Pittsburgh's School for the Blind to observe teachers. Then she travels to an inner city school (geesh, be CAREFUL and lock your doors!) lol for another observation. She still needs 3-4 more observations before her program ends. Good day for travel - unlike tomorrow's forecast. Sue - good job getting in your 10k steps AND prepping foods for the week ahead. I used leftover mashed potatoes last night along with a steak I dug deep in freezer and found I defrost my meats in our microwave on the 'defrost' setting as I may change my mind 'what sounds good' after long work days. I keep a running list of Menu ideas on fridge but that's as organized as I get lol Breakfast lately has been bananas with pb. Still battling darn leg cramps - WOW to the pictures of the kids' van. So glad no one was seriously hurt! Yep, DH always says if the airbags come out, the car is totaled. Plus, not sure how safe re-installed air bags would be? What a pain their insurance didn't line up the rental in time! geesh Carole - don't ya hate days like that? I know with all the 'treats' in the Staff lounge (cakes, doughnuts, bread) folks brought in for Conferences it was tough to avoid. And the carbs! Ugh...I find once I start my body starts craving carbs all the time and I can't get enough - recognizing and remembering that can help - but I felt blah all day too. It felt so good to come home early!! The Deans gave me 'looks' as I left but really? They treated themselves to an hour lunch yesterday and today - and no, I was not invited but they were loud and laughing as they announced they were going to Chipotle and OH how stuffed and full they felt coming back full of their lunch...whatever. This isn't high school - I just find it all so immature - and yes, I smiled as I left at 4:30!!! Gabrielle - I would hesitate too to restock the freezer. It's a hit to the grocery budget! Hoping today is a nice, routine, productive day for you as I know Thursday and Friday will be a bit stressful seeing through this committee. How's your DM doing with her health? I remember you were worried when you left for D.C. so I wondered if things are okay? Need to check our Election results - we had some local races that are important - hoping everyone has a good DAY today!!!

OK Must get moving here... need to leave a little early - want to head down the back way - something "controversial" in the paper yesterday, and it mentioned the bank... so we want to know WTHeck they are complaining about! LOL So I said I'd head down that way and see if I can find what the hoopla is all about!
Meanwhile - the day will most likely be another Day from Hell... but it will be a full day anyway. I left early yesterday for allergy shots (back to weekly for 4 weeks) so today I will work the full day - maybe 1/2 hour extra? We'll see...
Was going to pull beef for stew tonight - but Ken and Tracy has an EMT meeting with the Selectboard tonight - so I am not cooking! Could be good news - could mean a fiasco of "dinner"... who knows what the night might bring! Maybe they can do the stew tomorrow - while I am getting a hair cut!
OK Must get moving... will be back to chat in the morning... ♥hugs♥

Hi ladies! It's so good to read about your lives again. I'm going to make popping in here a part of my morning routine. It's been a crazy couple months here. Carol, hope Matt can get what he needs to get in to see that Dr. Nice of Tracy to help put. Oh my Zoe looks do grown up! Is she in kindergarden?
Christine, cold and dark out there is right. Even here. That's a long commute for DD23.
Time to get moving have a great day!

Morning all....running through! Will likely be MIA tonight...meeting my painting buddy for dinner then off to paint a holiday painting....can't wait for this one...it's on canvas and burlap....It's called "Buffalo Plaid Christmas". Lacey actually renovated the barn on her property and made it into a studio for paint nights...tonight is the first one there so will be anxious to see it finished! We have been seeing a few pictures along the way. I'm so excited for her....she has to pay the venue she holds them at so now that expense is gone and more money in her pocket. Plus, she can leave the easels set up and save set up time too!
Will post pictures as usual! Need to pack my lunch and get this day started. Will likely order salmon tonight...the place we are meeting has great salmon so lunch will be lighter....
Might pop in to see what everyone has done for the day but not sure....if not, see you in the morning!

Good morning!
Love the theme for today, Carole: we ARE worth it! Most of us have spent so many years being the caretakers of others, it is a shift to look in the mirror and take care of that person too...Heck, thinking back on it, I have even sought jobs where I take care of people. Thank you for the reminder. Well, yesterday was a big day at track. We have a local 100-mile run--it is famous. It is called the Western States run and it goes from the mountains (Squaw Valley) to a town nearby (Auburn). Our team was selected to run the finish (which was a big deal) and was given on "ticket" into Western States. It is HARD to get a ticket...you have to do qualifying runs in a certain amount of time and enter a lottery. Some on our team have been trying to get in for 8 years and DH has two tickets in the lottery that happens each December. The coach pulled a ping pong ball of a bag yesterday (all the people who qualified) and DH WAS SELECTED!! Oh man, I could see the shock on his face and I wasn't sure how to react either. Another 100 mile run--this time harder--in late June. So, what a difference 24 hours makes....I told him that he needs to project forward 4 weeks from how he is feeling now. Chances are that he would be SUPER excited--a lifetime goal. Wow, I don't know what to think.
Carole: Oh I am sorry that Matt missed the deadline for the Wednesday appt....that is really something that they are so "specific" about what they see when. Does he know who he needs to talk to so that the films get there? In this day and age alot of things are sent digitally...hope that is the case. Uggh to the candy--I saw that at the store and avoided it. It's hard when someone brings it to work though! Like Christine, if I start my day off with a lot of carbs then the day continues that way.....but today is a new day! You can turn that around. Hope that you feel a fresh start today. I agree with you journaling by the way...you were my journal-idol. I remember you doing that each day and it seemed to help you think through things--I actually bought a journal because of your experience. Maybe we should commit together?

Christine: Sounds like Carly made a good plan to get those visits done today before the weather turns.....the time seems to be flying by! Glad that you left at 4:30 (and it was most likely getting dark)...whatever about those deans. You do what you need to do! Does Linds have the whole week of Thanksgiving off? DS20 has winter break only 2 1/2 weeks later and didn't want to deal with the airport alone on TG so he is staying in Eugene. I told my cousin though and she is going to invite him to dinner. Can't wait for winter break to have him home and DS25 nearby!! It's been a few years! Hope that the snow is a light one this week for you all. You have a 3-day weekend, right? We do because of Veteran's Day. I do have a training going on for preschool teachers (the only day a preschool/daycare will close is a holiday due to families needing childcare for work) so I have to go by and unlock/lock the room for them. Other than that, hope to have a calm, LOVELY 3 day weekend at HOME. Haven't had that since October 13th or so. Hope that you have a good day and LEAVE AT 4:30 !!!
Sue: Wow, the photos of the cars are really something. Thank goodness the kids have the van for now. Hope that they can find a good deal--that might be the case this time of year. Well, who knows, maybe over time Amanda and the BF will move a little closer?? One would hope so! Sad that Colton is probably used to it by now. He is old enough though that, if he has friends with divorced parents who are friendly, he will see the difference. He is such a handsome boy--love seeing how he has grown up! Wow, how FUN to be painting in that converted barn! Can't wait to see it. Hope that you have a good day today!

Lisa: I saw that you popped in yesterday---wow, crutches for 6 months??? Yes, I would appreciate walking/functional ankles too! How is work going for you? Hope that it is going well and not causing stress due to grouchy people. Isn't it great to be able to check in with friends each day? We all need that, I think. It will be nice to catch up with your other group as well! I wish that fire season was over...not a drop of moisture here since September and it is bone dry. We are all holding our breath and hoping for rain one day soon. Thanks for asking.
Jo: Hello! So good to see you! I look forward to hearing how Emilie and Stephen are doing....is Stephen in community college or working? How is DH? Hope that you are able to find the time each day--I know that it can be a challenge.
Shelly: Hope that your week is going well...I know that you have company. Hope that mom is on the mend.
Okay, need to get moving and be ready for the trip to Tahoe to visit schools. I LOVE that the Deputy Supt always wants to drive...makes it so easy! Later today I am meeting a former coworker--she and I were good friends--who is visiting from AZ. I get to see her once or twice a year when she comes to visit her daughter and GK locally. Always nice to catch up. See you all later--have a great day!

Evening. Just a quick update on DM. She had surgery last night and all went well. I guess they have her pretty dipped up on meds today. My Sister said she was forgetting things and groggy today. Had PT and I assume will again tomorrow. DD said he would probably get to take her home tomorrow. Hope she does ok. Wish they was closer so I could run over and help them out. Poor dad already dies so much for her now she’s going to need even more help.
DH hasn’t got to do much with his tractor but he is proud of it. Yes Lisa we ate a John Deer Green family too but this reminds him of his Grandpa Schroeder and he has always wanted to find one. I think he said it’s a 1942 tractor. Man the guy did an awesome job refinishing it.
Well yesterday I was kinda depressed because I had a dentist appointment to have my teeth cleaned and got a bad report again. Got to have a tooth pulled. A partial crown replaced with a full crown and 2 cavities filled. Ugh every time!!! I swear I try but they said it’s not anything I’m doing wrong it’s likely caused from my gastritis. Why why why does everything have to go wrong with my teeth. I’m just so over it. Tooth is scheduled to be out first of December. Everything else after first of year. I’m out of insurance
Sorry no personals again but I’m falling asleep. Time change is hard on me. Will try to make it back tomorrow
