Karen, I am glad you did well at Osteo. I may have a jump on Thanksgiving but you are way ahead of me on Christmas. What are your chances for snow next week?
I thought Liz might be hurting with all the sitting on trains, in cabs and on office chairs.
Waving to the crew.
The flurries were weaker than expected. We may get some snow Tuesday am but it will be freezing for sure. I saw that Florida and Texas are supposed to cool off as well. I just finished my workout and need to answer some texts. Then I may check out the stores and get some ideas for Christmas gifts.

Thanks for the start, Chele. I don't do Cappuccino and it's easier to type than to speak a tongue twister. Best I can do is "She Sells Seashells by the Seashore". I don't know about being way ahead of you on Christmas. Most of mine will be gift cards and I don't have Dale's wish list yet. Heard from Liz last night and yesterday was a brutal day as well, but at least she was working from home. I guess it's good that your flurries didn't turn into more and I hope Tuesday won't be too bad either. We may get a few over the weekend and Tuesday is also a possibility for us. Is your DN already in Japan? I hope you got everything done you were planning to do today.
Linda, good luck on getting the knee shots approved. And, good job on the picture directions working. Maybe your knees won't get so much of a workout now that he seems to have settled in with the new machine. I saw on the national weather map that your high is supposed to be 86 today. We are currently sitting at half that number and I'm freezing!
Did you make it to RR for the appointment today, Becky? I hope you did and that you liked the doc you saw. What's the word? PT, I hope.
Kathy, is it true that you're expecting a cool down? Will you have rain with it? What's on your agenda for the weekend?
Wishing you a quiet weekend, Liz!
Hasn't been a good 24 hours here. I got a denial from UHC on my crown in yesterday's mail, so I asked the dentist's office to refile with more info, after calling UHC, so hopefully it will be approved. Then this morning Dale got an email from the lease-purchase woman in the other house that she is vacating at the end of the month. So we have a call into the RE agent to see how quickly we can get it on the market and hopefully sold, since the market still seems to be strong there. Can't say we're surprised, but hopefully the timing will be perfect for someone and we can get it sold quickly. On a brighter note, I stopped by an Ulta yesterday to see what SPF moisturizers were available and it looks like I'll be going with Cera Ve, which is available at Walgreens, so not terribly expensive and easy to find. Maybe they will even have it on sale from time to time. At least I can save a little money there.

Hello chicks and thanks for the start Chele and the very cute ditty.
Chele - we have a high of 37 today but the real feel is less due to the wind. I'm sorry I haven't been in this week to post but it's been a bit of a crazier week than even I could have anticipated. The commute wasn't too bad on Wed. but I did take cabs to and from Grand Central from the hospital. It was a disheartening and disappointing meeting that started out really well and then went to hades. I had two conference calls, a couple meetings I didn't plan on and then came back home to 2 more conference calls; a enormous amount of emails and news from Gary that I only received partial pay in my paycheck. Anyway, I had PT and that went pretty well but I was tired and sore as I apparently did 9700+ steps. I'm glad the flurries didn't stick and that it was lighter than predicted.
Karen - I really admire all that you accomplished for this weekend and the children. I hope your body is continuing to heal and that the upper respiratory nissues resolve soon. I am trying to transition to walking without the cane. I am making fairly good progress but often feel somewhat unstable. I had to take Wally back to the vet today but his eyes were good and his tushy had an external irritation that I need to keep an eye on. I can't imagine doing the miles that Dale is talking about doing. I am sad that your claim was denied for your tooth and I am hoping that all will go well with the other house going on the market and getting sold quickly. I think I'm being a putz and feeling blue just over the whole work experience this week and the continuation of insanity at St. Crazy. I had some frozen yogurt the other night and thought I was eating a chocolate chip which ended up being a bridge that came out of my mouth. I have to figure out who I am going to see and what to do.(sigh).
Linda - there is supposed to be some actual accumulation upstate NY; but they are talking about it warming up next week. I had short sleeves and light fleece on earlier this week and my winter coat on today while walking. So the crazy weather continues all over the country. I was chuckling over Bob and the recorder. No cooking for me tonight, it's pizza night for Gary and I haven't figured out what to have yet.
Becky - hope you, Kenneth and the fur babies are doing well. Was the ortho appointment this week? Have you been able to manage the knee pain?
Waving to you Kathy and hoping all is going well.
I am off to answer more emails and try to finish up for the day. Have a safe and good evening dear ladies! Ciao for now~

Thanks for the start Chele. We both love cappuccino and today was no different than any other day since we celebrated. We go to a convenience store when we are in Elgin and get 1/2 coffee/1/2 cappuccino so techinically it is a coffeeccino I guess.Yes today definitely cooled off in TX.It started out at 45 and is now 49.Very chilly here.
Karen I'm sorry yesterday was so brutal for Liz.Glad she is working from home.We started out for RR this morning even though it was lightly raining.Kenneth was having trouble seeing the lanes on Hwy 95 and then he said the low tire pressure light came on.So he turned on a road to bring us back to Elgin and I was able to reschedule for next Wednesday. We had to buy groceries for the weekend and of course my knees really hurt more while in HEB while shopping but they hurt at home also. This is already the second time I am icing my knees. It's nice though b/c it's cool enough in the house to lay under a blanket and the heat from the blanket also helps some.I have gotten in 7000 steps so far and I have lowered my step goal to 7500-8000 while I'm hurting like this so I will get that in.The only way I got in many steps was I did a 25 min Leslie Sansone DVD this morning before we left this morning.I'm sorry about your denial from UHC and about the house.
Waving to all.

Chele, thanks for the tongue twisting start. I always liked how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood. We have a front coming through today that will take our highs into the mid 70s for Sunday and then gasp, another front taking our highs into the 60s for Wednesday! No snow in sight though. I'm glad your flurries weren't too bad.
Karen, the aunts left for NSB Wednesday and the out of towners flew back on Thursday. That would be something if TN or FSU managed to win the rest of their games. FSU is once again in danger of not being bowl eligible. One of the local sportswriters said if FSU isn't really careful with the next coach selection, they could turn into TN! I hope they can find someone that can get the program back to where it was before Jimbo checked out on them. Sorry about the insurance hassles with the crown. I'm starting to wade through the signup for the ACA and I'm sure there are gotchas that I'll be finding out the hard way.
Yikes on the bear! We've had some sightings here too. The bears were on the local news again and they said they're expecting the population to double in the next few years. They are looking at solutions like allowing hunts again and relocation. Hope they can find a good solution. I'd rather see them relocated then hunted. Hope you can sell the house quickly and be done with it once and for all.
Liz, sorry to hear that the return to work has been so rough and don't blame you for feeling blue over it. Sometimes it just seems like it's piling on and I hate that you have to deal with the bridge too. You did a lot of steps, so hope you can rest up some this weekend. Can't believe it's already so cold there. We'll be having a bit of a cool down (finally!), but will still have highs in the 60s. It won't last long though.
Becky, sorry the knees are hurting so much and that you had to delay your appointment. If they're hurting when you walk, maybe back off a bit more from the step goal for the next few days until you see the doctor.
Linda, Bob is lucky to have an in-house tech person!
