Sunday I will continue to KOKO. Have to make a trip to Walmart and Ocean State Job Lot. Also have a coupon for Hannafords for 11.00 off for Veteran's which expires on the 22nd. Their weekly sale flyer is out, so going to check it out and will more than likely come home and veg afterwards. I have an oven stuffer roaster for tomorrow. Not sure if Carl wants to smoke it or do a beer can chicken. I'll worry about the sides.
Sleep well.

The Young Marines are marching in the township Veterans Day parade, stepping off at 1:30 PM. Yes, I am marching, too. But it should be a tad bit warmer than today, thank heaven!
And we - including the Kressling - plan to sleep in.

Today I will:
* hydrate * eat whole food plant based foods
* hydrate * walk 30 minutes
We did go to the grocery store but quite a few of the items I was looking for were not on the shelves. I will call around to some of the shops to see if anyone has any of them and then go out to buy if they do. In the meantime will eat t he basic grains, beans, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds without the tofu and other things I was looking for.
Hope to talk to family via Skype tonight. Daughter sent photos from a shop she was in - sale going on - she showed me what she was buying to bring me and then quickly bought it and left. I will be getting two tops and a cardigan from that shop in Fulton, Missouri when she comes in a month.
ANN: Did Carl smoke or do a beer can chicken? 26 books about Stephanie Plum? Has she settled down with Ranger or Diesel or was his name Jack? I think perhaps a series with her and a harem of men to choose from or a different guy each book or something might be interesting. I like Nora Roberts books because it is Eve & Rourke through them all and they are married and it works...this dithering became wearing. You are wise to do the balancing act to make sure the events with food in abundance don't undo the weight loss you have made.
MJ: Do the Young Marines (and you) wear a uniform when you march in parades?
BECKY: I hope your knees let you walk a piece without pain. How many calves did you take to auction? How old are they when they go to be sold?
AUDREY: Your dinner sounds colorful and delicious. Of all fish I think I like salmon best.
SUSI: Interesting about your sister and Fouad. Funny how life works out sometimes. I am dreading my husband's death BUT both children (in the USA) know that there is no will and that whatever there is in land, money, etc will have to be dealt with by all of us when that day comes around. Ugh. It is good to hear that your sister managed to get it all done in two years. My husband is still dealing with his brother's death/inheritance and with more than one in the family pulling in different directions it is not easy. I applaud her for writing and publishing a book and more than one book! I hope you had a wonderful evening! I am sure the purrfect cat will be yours when the time is right. I wonder if the people in the rescue wanted to keep the one you wanted...or feared you would hurt too much after having just lost your own recently and knowing the one you wanted wasn't a spring chicken.
BEE: Funny thing...I was engaged to a guy I met in college. He moved to Texas, wrote, came to visit, proposed, I accepted and then one reason I broke the engagement was that Texas was too far away from my home in California...go figure! Who knows why we make the decisions we do. I was always one for adventure...meeting new guys at music camp, going on blind dates in college, taking on babysitting jobs nobody else would accept...perhaps I am an adventurer and don't know it The soup looks tasty
PAM: I can just see you thinking...blue dot is mine...remember that...look at the blue sky. They talk about having an anchor to touch to stay OP and you having the blue sky means it is always available...unless there are clouds.
I have eaten my leftover hot cereal saved in little loaf pans to eat later in the week. Need to make more. I will soon decide what lunch will be and make it. I also need to plan what to serve on Wednesday.

I'm sure either way Carl fixes the chicken will be delicious. Does that hopefully mean until around 6:30 MJ? It's definitely warmer this morning! Enjoy church Becky. I have been so bad about going since we got the new pastor that I am not crazy about. Never thought about pineapple with salmon Audrey. I'll have to try that. Sorry you couldn't get the products you wanted Cathy. Hope you have a nice family visit. Kathy was fortunately that is brother was a bit help to her. Families can complicate things. Dinner was over the top last night but worth it and I have leftovers. Today Carol is having her stepson and his wife over for the game. We are having an early Sunday supper of ribs, cole slaw, salad and garlic bread but she wants me to bring chips and dips as well. I will just avoid them and stick to the main meal. Ferals are fed and I am enjoying my coffee before heading to spin class.

Good morning all. Woke up feeling refreshed but with tummy issues. They appear to be a bit better, but I shall take it easy until I'm sure. MJ it's going to be warmer here today as well. Enjoy. Becky wise to listen to your knees. Audrey I love grilled pineapple. Wish I were a fish eater. Enjoy Cathy enjoy your skype chat. So sorry that you were not able to pick up the groceries that you needed. Hopefully all will be available today. Susi I hear you about not finding the right connection at church. I tried for years and finally I just gave up and do my own thing. I think Carl is leaning toward smoking the chicken. Waving to all and wishing all a healthy eating OP kinda day

Cathy I'm sorry some of the items were not on the shelf at the grocery store. We took 3 calves to tha auction. They were 8 months old.DH likes to sell them when they are 7-8 months.Unfortunately my knees are not cooperating.
Susi You aren't bad when you don't go to church. We like smaller churches who tend to be more like family.IMO a preacher can either make or break a church.Ours is a good fit because he tells everyone he cannot save them that only God can and he and his wife are pretty down to earth.I'm glad dinner was well worth it.Enjoy the game and early supper.Which game are you watching?
Ann I hope your tummy issues resolve. You haven't been around MJ have you?
Bee Unfortunately the pain just doesn't want to ease up.I wish your joints worked better.
Audrey Have a good day.
Pam I picture you smiling while aiming for blue.Enjoy.

Hi girls. Tummy issues are gone and I'm a happy camper. I did end up going with Carl to Ocean State Job Lot and Walmart. It felt good to get out a bit.
Bee my joints also don't work as they once did.
LOL Becky when I woke up with the tummy issues, I did think of MJ. Perhaps there is something nasty going around.
I got a really nice Cuisinart Food Processor at Ocean State. It was marked down to 27.99 plus Carl was able to use his 25% off Military discount. That sale goes on thru the 13 of the month. Reason why it was so cheap is that it was the last one and the box was tampered with. When we got home, I opened it up, inspected it and it works perfect. My older one is getting tired.
Going to have an early supper. Take care, all.
