I will KOKO.I have an appointment with the ortho at 11:00 so I will not be moving as much.Lunch will be a challenge since I'm not familiar with the area of the doctor's office.I hope to keep it light since we are having an early Thanksgiving luncheon after church Sunday.
My niece had what she called her lucky 13th back surgery today.Poor thing. She has been through the wringer with her back. They were going in to remove more hardware out of her back to try to give her more pain relief.I pray this is her final surgery.
We are expecting a cold morning but get up in the low 60's and the weekend is supposed to be nice with highs in the 60's.

Ann, Iβm glad itβs warming up. Becky, I hope you have a good appointment. Perhaps look up places to eat near the ortho doctorβs address. Iβve done that in unfamiliar places and it helps to know if there are choices. Prayers for your niece. I hope she has some relief for her pain. Color, cut and highlights today. I miscalculated when I made fall appointments so this is 5 weeks instead of the usual 4 and my hair is a mess. I kept pushing it from my eyes all week. I am getting some floors cleaned at 2 so Iβll rush home to finish picking up things. At least dinner is at the seafood restaurant

I can be aware, think before I eat, write it down, think positively
The little Delll laptop my daughter gave me last year has had another power/adapter cord die even though it waMy s purchased only a month ago and has only been used on a stabilizer. It is frustrating. The shop we ordered it from is in Tripoli and roads have been closed for days and they want us to bring laptop and cord in to be checked. I am using the old cord that brings power to the computer and keeps the charge of the battery where it is but it is not charging the battery. ARGH! My daughter says she is going to look for another laptop/notebook/whatever during black Friday sales and try to bring me something else this trip. I like this one just wish it wouldn't fry the power/adapter cords!
JUNE: I feel like I missed something important in your life while I was without internet and may have to go back and comb through the posts to find out what. I am glad you are making a choice to take time for yourself with naps and other things.
ANN: I can see why you would not want to rock the boat right now by trying a "new" program WW has put out. Brava on the 2 pounds lost this past month.
BEE: You made me chuckle this morning...asking those from the North to come take their weather back home with them
SUSI: Nope...front door lock is still stuck. Hubby will eventually need to call the carpenter to see if he can fix it. Probably won't happen till the next time he has friends come that need to come in that door.
LADONNA: Thank you for the chuckle...definitely blame snug clothes on the dryer!
AUDREY: The ladies seemed to enjoy the vegetarian meal. One woman took a doggy bag of shepherd's pie home to see if her children would eat it. Did you hear anything about your registration and tag? I love going to get my hair trimmed...always feel pampered and like it is a treat. It has been about four and a half weeks since my hair was cut last time and it will soon need to be trimmed again...unless I opt to try for letting it grow into a bob.
BECKY: Everyone had fun and stayed late into the afternoon on Wednesday. We missed the women who could not make it but enjoyed our time together. Hope you get some answers at the ortho appointment. 13 back surgeries? YIKES! My BIL has had three and the third one nearly killed him. I hope this will indeed be lucky thirteen for your niece!
PAM: Staying OP at a hospital is never easy. Hope your husband heals quickly.
MJ: Good to see you checked in to let us know you are around.
We had a bit of rain yesterday. Hope there will be some dry days and no big wind storms between now and when hubby gets around to harvesting the olives.

Good morning all. Woke up to temperature of 23. That's warmer than it has been at this time of the day I'll take it. Not much on the agenda for today. KOKO for me all the way. Downloaded the 19th book in the Women's Murder Mystery by James Patterson last night so will dive into that today. Cathy so frustrating when things like that happen. I hope you can get your computer and cord to the shop soon....praying for some dry days so DH can harvest the olives. Waving and will pop in later.

Good morning
Ann On days like this, I sing "we're having a heatwave, a tropical heatwave". Congrats on the 2 lbs down for the month!
Audrey The upside to the 5-week cut & curl-- you will really be happy with the results! Have been tempted to get bangs or a different cut, but I am just too lazy.
Becky Sending you lots of good wishes for your ortho appointment. Hope that you & Kenneth find a new fav restaurant today! Sending many, many prayers for your niece.
Bee Loved your meme about the northern weather. Stay warm! When your heat & sunshine return, plz send it north!
Cathy That's frustrating to have laptop issues and no easy or quick solutions.
Have been exhausted by lots of life changes the last three months-- some that I shared, some that I did not. One big stressor has been the expensive, exterior problematic waterproofing project. Luckily for us, the Artic blast forced contractor to finally install special order window well and push dirt up against the side & back walls. Pam Sending you & your DH lots of prayers. Hope that you have help as you care for DH.
LaDonna Hahaha.... so all we really need is new dryers!
Mj Know that you are keeping busy!
Susi Bet that you have something fun or productive planned for the weekend.

MJ sorry about the schedule. Hang tight. June (((hugs)) I shall keep that song in mind and thank you. Praying for good results on the waterproofing problem. Surely you and R don't need this at this time. Done checking all that I needed to check online. Now time to relax with coffee.

WI this morning was a slight slide down --- to my amazement.
Ann, I am joining that KOKO line.
Becky, hope the appointment with the new doc goes well. Praying your niece's surgery helps her.
Audrey, enjoy the pampering.
Cathy, stuff does not last as long as it used to. BUT that is sure a short time. Glad the Ladies had fun and liked the meal.
June, good to see you. Still praying for y'all. It will only get t the low 70's by the end of next week. Slow crawl out of this cold.
MJ, I think you need t go back to work to get some rest.
I am WILLING to be AWARE and ABLE!

OK. I'm back.
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
Asking for a few extra prayers for Anthony (son of a departed GF of mine) who will be having surgery today to remove an intestinal blockage. He went in via ER, they tried an NG tube all day yesterday to avoid surgery, and it didn't work. He is not a normal-BMI person - nowhere near - which makes it even more risky.
πππππππππ
Today's schedule includes DivaTaxi, FMR (for the Zigster; a last-minute add-in), no MHMR (long story), LA-F double session (THAT may be a mistake). Then MH-ASR for MousekeTWO only. Yes, I've got it all written down, LOL. Ah, yes - the Kressling's coming after school. The HS football team will play its 2nd post-season game tonight and he wants to go. Easier to go from the GrandHouse than from home. And we have enough chicken L/O to accommodate his dinner meal.
And now the morning stuff's done and I'm doing a few CinderElla/Fella chores around here, changing out the bedding and towels for the winter ones.
Sipping tea... βββ... and enjoying my day...
πππππππππ Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππ

Ann - I don't mind cold mornings as long as it warms up later. Becky - Hope all goes well with your ortho and you can come up with a plan for some relief. Cathy - How frustrating with the computer. Hope you can get it checked if the roads ever open. June - Hopefully that project will be completed and work properly for you. You didn't need that on top of everything else that is going on. MJ - Your schedule is almost always wonky! Hope you get some me time in there. Bee - Good scale victory! It least it will warm up. Prayers, love and hugs to all. We all need them! I am in, planned and tracked. Not much this weekend. Usual ferals and gym. A little housework. Dinner with some cousins tomorrow night. Football on Sunday. Hope the weather holds out for an outdoor bike ride.

Awesome job on the sliding weight, Bee. I had delicious pizza last night with an extra glass of wine and I'm wearing 1.3 I must say, it was well worth each and every oz. LOL. I know what to do and I'll do it. Susi sometimes it's nice to have a weekend that doesn't have an agenda. Enjoy the game on Sunday. I too don't mind a cold a.m. when it warms up during the day. Today is beautiful out there. We took a nice hood walk and will be heading out shortly. MJ hope you get some YOU time in there after the chores are complete. Donna came over for coffee and we so enjoy her company. We may stop over tonight to visit with her and her mom and dad. Haven't seen them in awhile as Sheila has been a bit under the weather. I'll call to make sure she is up for a visit before we go. Time to get a move on. The dryer just buzzed. Always something!
