Winter can be a difficult time to motivate yourself to exercise when perhaps all you want to do is hibernate on your sofa till Spring. So let's join together and encourage and cheer each other on with our fitness goals! Warm weather will be here before we know it and we want to be in shape to enjoy it!
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycling, spinning, swimming, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday thru Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here!
This challenge runs from January 1 to March 20.

Mon -OP day
Tues -at least 5 servings fruits&veggies Wed -work those abs
Thurs -2 healthy oils
Fri -journal it
Sat -at least 6 servings water

Hello! Thanks for starting us Brenda!
I was down 0.8 so an improvement from the week before but I know I can do better and will! Just got back from PT and I'll be going to the gym after work for a spinning class. I did double spinning classes yesterday plus lifted weights. The "scraping" the PTs are doing on my foot and knee is really making a difference with spinning and with walking! I have an appointment with my podiatrist tomorrow and am hoping to be cleared for walking.
Brenda, are the 2 fitbit challenges here on the message boards?
I've bought a fitbit but still haven't gone online to get it set up, arg!
