Good morning - TRACKIN' TUESDAY... I have honestly tracked 3 out of 4 days this week... using daily points and into my weeklies - but this is very "manageable" (so far)! My Southwest Chicken Salads (that I do enjoy) in my jars - are 2 SP... for the oil and balsamic vinegar! I took the time last night to add it to my "recipes"! LOL Plus I get 5 full servings of veggies in every salad! WOOT WOOT! They are very filling too - I don't usually have a snack all afternoon between lunch and getting home for dinner... unless I see something here while I am cooking dinner - but if I snack it is not out of hunger it is... something else... boredom - anxiety - anger... so need to work on that over the next several weeks too! Tomorrow while killing time at MA Gen I will delve into my app a little more for recipes and such to make menu planning more "fun" again! I did look into the Daily Burn - but decided not to do it "yet"... it requires adding cc info and then if I forget to cancel it is going to charge me - and right now, I just know it won't be as beneficial to me as it might be later - so I will save my free 2 month trial until I am really ready to give it a try!
Christine - I hope you are looking into it and will benefit from it now!! You are much more dedicated to things like this than I am!
OH yesterday was a good day at work! Seriously... it was! I actually helped Kaitlin with some of the Friday stuff that had come in while we were both out - not a lot, but helped where I could. I also got my October monthly Management report out... all of my daily stuff got done - I am feeling better after only 1 day! I think I am working this Saturday morning - to really dive into my settlement again... then I am off 3 days... then K is off BF... so we'll see how this goes! LOL My goal is by year end... so cutting myself some slack here!
OK Let me refill my coffee and get caught up if I can!

Hey Sue... saw you running through!
Lisa: Mornin'... yes these mornings can get hectic can't they? Nice car... we had an Impala for several years - somewhat similar to Malibu I think! Enjoy it!
LOL I had my protein bar 7SP yesterday - but then nothing else until my 2 SP salad... last night's "leftovers" cost me more, but still OK... I am not really sure where I stand with WP, but that's not my concern right now... my concern now is to TRACK... even my wine... I have cut BACK on my nightly wine - DUE to SP - but not giving up completely what I have been doing for so long now! Just getting back to tracking is a HUGE deal for me right now!
Well our dry day was nice... came home in rain - woke up to rain... 37 degrees so not worried about a lot of FREEZING Rain but will try to leave early to avoid issues!
Speaking of repair people... our stove guy was here twice yesterday! Thank goodness he has other clients in the area! LOL Anyway - I think he finally got it right! I am "cautiously optimistic" that this is finally working as it should be! I am very happy with this guy - he isn't charging us for the first part he changed, since it didn't fix the problem!
Gabrielle: Yikes... sorry you hit that "wall" Sunday - but YAY for you letting yourself have a day! WOO HOO For NOT having movie popcorn, that will be a "challenge" for me next Saturday. We are taking the girls to see Frozen II at the theater - a fundraiser for a local school. I will have to make time for a healthy breakfast before leaving the house!
Thank you - Did you get back to your tracking yesterday?? I do like the bar code scanner in the app! LOL!
Yes my office has FINALLY come up with a decent system for choosing vacations! I like that it is FINALLY out of Amanda's hands!! We all know how that worked out! This based on "bank seniority" works for me too! LOL Amanda used to have it based on "Department Seniority" which of course meant BFF Kaitlin was almost at the top of the list!
No Zoë will sleep over tonight with Kathy - then head to school as usual... it would be way too long of a day tomorrow to try to entertain her in the waiting rooms! Depending on how MAtt is feeling after the long day tomorrow - I may suggest we go out to eat with Zoë when we get back. I should be "dinner time", but not knowing how he will feel - I won't make any plans. Heck I don't know how I will feel - so we might grab Subway and Just.Come.Home.!
Yeah - seems I am the only one that was told the vaccine wasn't covered until I was 60+! I wonder if that WAS the "old" vaccine? Me being ME, didn't know there was a new one so maybe never asked about the new one? I may have been told over 60 and then never bothered again until I was 60!
Oh my dear friend - please do NOT give in to those feeling that you get from your sister! We all know you are doing everything you can for your DM! She is still "independent" enough that you can't do everything FOR her. I think you are amazing at being able to help her and keep your days running smoothly too! Heading to the track this morning?? Clear your mind - get ready for the day... don't let your sister make you 2nd guess anything!! {{{hugs}}}

Sue: YAY for a yummy dinner!! Ouch... hopefully the dentist took good care of Jason!! Oh DID you get a better night's sleep last night? I know I did! I did take NyQuil... just decided I could NOT go into today with no sleep - so I may take it with me tonight as well - for in the hotel! I never sleep any better in a hotel! LOL
I have to say Kaitlin was very good about everything yesterday - no whining - no asking a ton of questions... she just sat and got her work done! I helped - MINIMAL Trust me... but we both had productive days!
Yes... Ken and I are both heading to Boston tonight... shouldn't be a "late" night either - so it will be good to get to the hotel and have nothing planned... I'll have my ear buds (gotta remember them from work today) so I can watch a movie on my tablet if Ken is watching a game of some sort!
LOL Well ringing in the New Year with the kids will be "new" for you!! I may not get where I want to be but going to give it a heck of a try!!
Yup, saw that FREE Turkey at BJs too - think I will go with S&S for the $.39 pound instead - I don't usually buy much of what's on the list at BJs!
UGH I do NOT know what was with Eden Sunday - but my house didn't quiet down until they all left! LOL

OK Gotta get moving - forgot to double check the suitcase last night - so want to switch shirts out for tomorrow! Supposed to be fairly nice here (I think) so don't want to overdress for the city!
I want to get an earlier start today - since I have to leave early for injections - before hitting the road. Kind of looking forward to a couple hours in the car with just Matt & Patti! LOL Will either be a chance to really catch up - or a very quiet ride with them both on their phones the whole ride!!
Tracy had a good first day of state training yesterday - hoping it goes well for her this week!
Will check in later - or in the morning....
Christine: Hope this means you are doing your DAILY BURN...
♥hugs♥

Good morning!
Yes, it is Track Tuesday and I will be heading out in about 25 minutes. Our coach was gone last week so it will be good to see him again--a very uplifting guy! Had a good, productive day at work this week. I am BUMMED to say that we have been told to expected another power shut down this week due to dry winds....Wed-Thurs. Uggh....will it PLEASE rain? More things being cancelled at work (most likely). I have an all-day thing in Sacramento on Thursday where the power never goes out so most likely will head down there. Oh well...just need to make it through next Monday and then have some REAL days off
Carole: I can see why you would be looking forward to the drive with Matt and Patti! I told DH that I was looking forward to driving home with DS25 and Kate on Saturday after Thanksgiving---it is nice when we enjoy the company of our kids. In your case, it is WONDERFUL that they have such a good relationship going into things like this. I know that there is a lot of anticipation right now, not sure what to expect....hugs to you. SO glad you are going and can be there to really see how he feels. Yay for a great work day AND tracking! I tracked as well. I make Turkey Joes last night (WW recipe)...not much like sloppy joes at all (due to so many veggies, not a ton of sauce, etc) but DH and I both really liked the flavor. Let me know what recipes you find! Want to start up the Pinterest Board again? I have to admit, I kind of miss Pinterest for ideas! Thanks so much for your words of encouragement with my mom....my sister is just wanting to do her thing--I am sure that it is hard being far away and she really is used to being in charge. I don't think that she means to make me feel like I don't do enough...I really appreciate you supportive words though! Hope that you have a good day my friend.
Christine: Hope that you got some better sleep. How is that app? My sister LOVES an app that she uses...it's called Aaptiv. She has been using it for over a year and encouraged me to try it. I am simply not self-disciplined enough I think! I love the idea of it though. Let us know how it is going! And tracking? Wondering if you have found some recipes as well...
Hello to all who follow--have a wonderful day and will try to read through tonight.

Running through again this morning....need to leave for work a little early to get to HR to see if I can change my FSA for next year to help with the tooth repair....will be done part in 2019 and finished in 2020 but will still be a lot out of pocket so want to have the FSA to use.....hadn't planned on a possible $2-3k repair for Jason. He has to call the endodontist today and get it for possibly a root canal. He will likely be missing that one tooth until after the holidays and the dentist said he would get him in 1/2/20 to finish it up. The dentist actually suggested doing it this way to take advantage of our insurance.
The "cheap" version will be about $800 out of pocket but that all depends on what the endodontist says...we could be going the route of implant??? UGH!!
Gotta run....will catch up after work!
Safe travels this afternoon Carole....I did see Ken will be coming along! YAY for company to help pass the time tomorrow! Keep us posted!

Good morning! I'm excited because I very slowly got on the scale and I am down 3 lbs! WOW good motivation to keep going for sure! I'm needing motivation because my boring job duties are starting to get to me, but I keep telling myself that next week will be a short week and then only about 3 weeks after that.
Carole-glad yesterday was a good day at work. Glad you are working the plan, I am looking beyond my usual stuff now at new recipes.
Sue-I feel for you on the dentist bills...I have an implant right in front top tooth. Was no choice but I had to wear a partial for about a month while the first part of the implant healed. Might go root canal route if that's an option, expensive but not as much as an implant!
Gabrielle-so sorry to hear that the power is going off again. Glad that your coach is back!
So Geoff bought the new Elantra last night. Again so glad we went with him because his payment was at 307 and then they hustle you in with the business manager to try and sell you an expensive maintenance agreement - the highest one would have put his payment at 491! As I see it a good car shouldn't have problems other than normal wear and tear and that isn't covered. The rental goes back this afternoon. And we got $500 for his mini cooper at the recycling place. Greg was able to drive it over, I was so happy because then Geoff could apply that towards his down payment. So one crisis fixed for now!
ok putting on my motivation and happy face and getting ready. Still thankful for the flexible temp job! Waving to all, try to BBL!

Good Morning! Didn't sleep well but kind of getting use to that. (JK...will never get use to it) I went off Advil/Tylenol on Saturday, had a rash anyway that went away once I quit taking it. I was in so much pain yesterday, I went home at 12n. I was in tears sitting here trying to work. Emailed my Dr after many back and forths, he sent in a prescription for Meloxican. We will see how that works. I'm back at work though.
GM Carole! How exactly is WW different? I was looking at it but didn't sign up. How is it more tailored to you.
got to work, will check in later.

Evening all...I'm exhausted!!! Crazy, busy day but it do go by quickly. Last night after I got off the computer I dozed for about 20 minutes and guess what? Yup, just enough to keep me wide awake until almost midnight. Slept well once I got to bed, FitBit gave me another 77% probably because it's not long enough....hoping if I do fall asleep in the recliner tonight I got out like a light and stay asleep until I have to pee at 2-3 am!! Really need a good night's sleep.
Lisa...I'm sure you found the perfect outfit to wear yesterday!! Hey, if they gave you an upgrade you don't have to pay for...go for it! How long do you think it Geoff will have your car?? Isn't technology frustrating...it's awesome when it works but when it doesn't it's a pain in the neck! Hope you got the wedding certificate scanned finally!
Gabrielle...I don't blame you for not wanting to leave your house on Sunday....you have done so much traveling I'm sure you craved time at home. I'm hoping no traveling this week!! Never heard of the movie you mentioned....good job staying away from the movie popcorn! It's hard for me to do...the smell alone draws me in!! Well, the kids found a good van and now have to hope no one buys it out from under them...they insurance company still has not paid off the old van so until that happens they are just in limbo! Insurance is so frustrating!! They have continued to look and have a few other options that would work so they just wait.....
I will say the combo of the CBD and other EO really have helped my hands, joints and lower back....am I totally pain free, no but it's controlled to the point I can "block it out" and go about my and NO meds!!
Carole...WTG tracking 3 out of 4 days!! That's awesome!! Glad you are finding whatever "color" you are it is manageable! Great that your jar salad really "fits" in your day....2SP for lunch and a filling lunch too is perfect! Oh yes, most of my eating when I get home from work is usually mindless and not because I'm hungry....just habit for me I guess. I will say having my late afternoon cheese stick or celery and PB really has helped me to NOT graze when I first get home!
Glad work was a good day and you and Kaitlin managed to tackle the stuff that came in on Friday and you got pretty much caught up! Hopefully you can get a couple hours in on Saturday and put a good "dent" in your settlement again! Oh, that's right, pie time again, right??? LOL...glad the vacation system works better now that Amanda is not in charge!! We all know that Kaitlin always got what she wanted when Amanda was in charge of it!
Glad the stove guy isn't charging you for the 1st "fix" since it didn't really fix anything!! He sounds like an honest guy who wants to make things right! Fingers crossed it's stays working!!
Well....actually just talked to Jason, he called to tell me he was still at work and would be a while yet. He has a 2:45 pm appointment on Thursday with the endodontist and he will be doing the root canal that day so that part will be finished. I was able to increase my FSA for next year to help out but if Jason can get it done this year than I want to put it back the way it was....not sure what is going to happen. I know he is self conscious about the missing tooth, but it really isn't that noticeable when he talks and it doesn't make him "talk funny" so we just need to wait and see how this all plays out! Fingers crossed we can go with the "cheap fix"....which isn't cheap!
Oh no Gabrielle...not another power shut down!! Hopefully it's only 24° or so. I know you lost so much in the freezer/fridge last time....honestly we are a little low on rain around here too but if I could, I would send it your way! Are you off all next week?? I can't keep track of who is off when on this thread!
Yes please continue to add recipes to the Pinterest board again...I was actually in that board last week looking for something! I thought it was one you had posted but it was in another folder....I used to use Pinterest all the time and then kind of got in a rut and didn't use it much but the past few weeks I have been going back through some of my pins looking for new ideas!
WOO HOO Lisa...down 3# is awesome!! Glad Geoff got the Elantra...yes, car shopping is stressful....they try to talk you into everything under the sun...like you said, if the car is good, you shouldn't need all that "extra" stuff. We have been burned by those extended warranties and maintenance agreements and now we just say NO to everything!
Jo....poor sleep seems to be a theme here lately! NO, we will never get used to it, just deal with it!
Need to get a little dinner....wave Jenny, Shelly, Christine and anyone else I might have missed! Time to eat, relax and hope to fall asleep!
