Ummm, well ok WORK it Wednesday is where I was going with this. OK so starting the thread on my phone, was not as easy as on my tablet...oh well.
Made it to Boston last night... nice rooms btw! If we come here and need a hotel again, we will try here again. We are in the Back Bay area, I think... came in past Fenway and Prudential Center. Not a lot of traffic until we got less than a mile from the hotel.
Right now Google says 8 min to the hospital, but we know that will change. We plan to hit breakfast when it opens at 6, as now he has to be at hospital for x-ray at 7:30. They called yesterday to see if he could stop by yesterday... ummm. Nope, so earlier today works.
Ken set the alarm for 5, but... this is my normal time to get up so, here I am.
Will try to read back, and will catch up when I can.

Thanks for checking in Carole....glad the traffic wasn't bad and the hotel is nice!! I know it will take more than 8 minutes to get to the hospital but if you are down to breakfast when it opens you will be there in no time!! Will be thinking of all of you....keep us posted!
Got to FaceTime with Hannah last night and Shea was home so it was fun to talk to him about his new job...we haven't actually talked to him since he started at SW.... He leaves today for 10 so will be gone for Thanksgiving but he knew he would have all the holidays this year being low many on the totem pole!! New classes of pilot training have started as the the Max will soon be back in service and they will need a bunch more. Confirmed out dates for next Christmas and let them know we will not be coming in March so we can have days to spend with them when they come home in the summer!
Boys were funny...at Cub Scouts on Monday they got to dissect owl pellets....they thought it was really cool, honestly looking at a baggie of animal skulls, bones and other stuff an owl "hacked up" is not my idea of fun they were so excited!
The new kittens are so cute and so naughty....just normal kitten naughty but Hannah had forgotten how "rotten" they can be! They are doing great and adjusting well to the litter boxes and routine of the day!!
I think I slept better last night...I feel like I did...will check Fitbit and see if I'm right. I turned the light off over my head about 9:00 pm and woke up at 2:00 am to wander to the BR and into bed and woke to the alarm.

Carole-glad that you made it to Boston safely and found a comfy hotel. Reminds me of many years ago when Greg had a pituatary tumor and we went to Indy. I will be thinking of you and your family today.
Sue-glad you got to visit with Hannah and kids and pets...
I have to get going here and will check in later. I'm still tracking. Never got to the Christmas tree yet, maybe today.

Good morning!
Power is supposed to go off at 7:00 am so savoring some time with it while we can. Work will have power so will be there and going to me meetings until 6:00 pm as planned...then home to darkness. Hopefully this one will only last one day--no word yet on that. I had hoped to get up and run on the TM (today was supposed to be a DOR) but I was pretty tired for some reason so allowed myself the sleep. I would have done spin today but the gym is closed due to power....this is really so crazy.
Carole: Wow, you still started us on your phone! I don't know if I would have had the patience to do that....and I have not yet been able to figure out how to post a picture here. You are impressive! So glad that the hotel is comfortable and affordable---and that the drive was fine. I know that this day is not one that you ever would have fathomed months ago, but it is here and the supportive family structure that you and Ken have always supported is in place---so glad that you can now move past the "what will this be like" place. Hoping for a good day for you in terms of figuring your way around, etc. We will be thinking of you!
Sue: Nice that you got to talk to both Hannah and Shea--and fun to be planning for next Christmas. DS20 called last night and we talked for a while--he is really missing the animals (dogs) and would love to have a cat but is concerned about what happens with it when he comes home, etc. I told him to find a roommate for next year and get a place that allows cats...maybe his roommate would help keep an eye on it. He said he misses coming home and having someone there--made me kind of sad! Then I got the idea that maybe he could offer to "pet sit" for people in his building....going to suggest that to him today. Sounds like a good night's sleep? Nice! Hope that you have a good day!
Jo: Hope that the medication helps with the pain for you...sorry about how bad it is. I had an aunt who took high levels of Advil for years for pain and then had issues with her organs in late 70's/early 80's...it's a good idea to not take them too much.
Lisa: Yay for the car issues being resolved and THANK GOODNESS you were there. It's crazy how they add on all of those things ---it's like they make you think that your car is going to need all kinds of repairs (which is SO odd in terms of selling the car and then selling that "it might fall apart"). Hopefully the family car issues are calm for you for a while! WOW, 3# down??? Yahoo!!! Good job!! So motivating, isn't it?

Good morning everyone
Well the surgery went well yesterday, no cancer has spread any where else in the body and he's doing just great. His mouth is a little sore but that is expected and has Tylenol with codeine for pain as needed. His Dr is so cute, she's such a sweet heart, she told me she thinks DH is funny and cute, I said he's just a big teddy bear and she agreed. They found a stage 1 heart blockage yesterday when they did his EKG, so now his Dr needs to refer him to a cardiologist and get that taken care of. He was a bit concerned about it, as I was as well. Stage 1 heart blockage is when the electrical impulses are slowed as they pass through the conduction system, but they all successfully reach the ventricles and can be treated with oral doxycycline or amoxicillin according to google. He needs to start exercising as well and get some weight off him and no more red meat. I'm glad they caught that early because if it went to a stage 2 or 3 the Dr said he would need a pace maker put in. He's at home resting until after TG and then he goes back to work for 2 months then he can retire.

Fred the boss just stopped by and asked how things are going with WOWW, he's still going to rotate her around to other plants the next year so she's not here all the time. Yeah and I'm getting ready to cash in a lot of my vacation starting with next week, I'm off so she will be here by herself and then the week before Christmas I'm off and she's off the week after Christmas so we will be apart quite a bit here for the next couple months YEAH!!!
OK sorry no personals today but it's getting busy here. I will try to get back tonight.

I have been reading about your days just little time to say anything about it! 😘
I have been Tracking each day and really reading all about WW again - I have also been experimenting with new recipes that are 0 - low points for Purple program or traditionally known as Simply Filling
I did try a video on The Daily Burn. A short 20 minute Yoga to help stretch - ouch lolololol My poor knees hurt as many moves meant kneeling off and on
But I saved it to my Favorites to try again.
Carole - thinking of you ALL day! Hope Matt had a positive experience
Jenny - Thank God DH’s did not spread!! Thank you for the update with all you have going on
Gotta get dinner - may not get here early in morning if I try my video again

Good evening! Went to Cracker barrel for dinner with DFIL and his friend Cheryl. I had grilled trout with broccoli and carrots and a corn muffin. Also walked with Greg at Meadowbrook park as it was 51 and sunny out.
Wishing that tomorrow was Friday 😬
