Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Starting to brighten up outside. We’re supposed to see the sun today and temps should be in low 40s.
Ruth - congrats to the Wild for running over the Sabres yesterday. Our season started out so promising, it’s pretty sad to see where they are now. Hope the NP convinces Stan to use the Cpap again. Fatigue is no fun.
Car didn’t act up yesterday, but I only drove to work and back. I’m going to go to WW meeting today, so it will get a longer drive. Tomorrow it goes in to get checked out.
Dottie - I used some of the rotisserie chicken for chicken soup, so good. I cut up the rest and froze it to use later. It’s a great bargain I get 2 dinners, a pot of soup, and leftovers - all for under $6
Enjoy your day

Joyce, I agree with you about what a bargain the rotisserie chicken is. I used my insta pot to make broth out of the bones, it smelled so good while it was cooking. I’ll use the broth for chicken noodle soup.
Ruth, good luck with the NP today. Hope they have some helpful advice for Stan.
Another cold and cloudy day. We plan on going to an early afternoon movie. Ford vs. Ferrari, I think that is the name. It did get good reviews and if someone likes cars (Bill) it will be a good movie. The sheets are in the dryer so need to get those back on the bed. Last night I changed the guest beds. The one in the guest room hasn’t been slept in since Christmas. I changed the sheets then but I like to freshen them up. Buzzer just went off so I want to get the bed back together.

Good morning. 9:30 and Stan just got up. He’s still in AFib, still having issues with his monitor (he’s asking her today to just be done with it!!), and looking forward to his appt. I’m afraid if I mention sleep apnea and the CPAP to the NP I might need a ride home!! I’m working on him on my own to get him to use it. And I do need to get an appt. with the sleep dr to get a new machine and use it myself.
Joy, it was a good game, if you were a Wild fan. They are finally getting their act together. We were just the opposite, lost our first like 7 games and just now winning a few. Not sure which way is more frustrating.
Dottie, she said, regarding the enhanced license, that if you had a passport, there was no reason to get it. She said if you normally had things on the back (organ donor, glasses restriction, motorcycle permit, etc) they wouldn’t be there because of space restrictions; said it’s $20 more expensive here in MN; and said something I didn’t understand about it had to be kept in a case. Not sure about that last one. Even tho I had all the paperwork required for it, she was actively discouraging me from getting it.
Didn’t get nearly as much done yesterday as I wanted to. Was a grey ugly day and that didn’t help. Then I spent 40 minutes on my ipad trying to fix the new amount of our mortgage payment on our online bank app. Was having lots of problems. And called customer service and they were no help at all. I finally got a temporary fix made and have to go in and set it up for every month after the Dec. payment is made. Frustration plus!!!
ok, going to get dressed and get my day going. I want to get the main level cleared out so we can dust and vacuum and then work downstairs tomorrow. Tomorrow night we have tickets to the Wild game that the kids gave us for our birthdays. Friday I’ll need to hit the grocery store and get everything for Mara’s birthday lunch. They are bringing the cake.
Have a good day all. I’ll try to check in later.

Evening update: Stan saw the NP today. She was not happy with the data they have been getting from the 24/7 monitor he’s worn for 3 weeks. He will go in tomorrow morning and they will do another cardio version (where they stop the heart, then shock it to re-start, hoping the shock sends him into a sinus rhythm). Then on March 12 (a year and a day since the last one) he will have a 2nd ablation. The procedure tomorrow is in hopes of giving him a break from the AFib so he and his heart can get some rest. They made some medicine changes also. Last time he only got 3 days peace after each of the cardio versions. So time will tell how he does this time.
