I did not get a chance to read all of yesterday's posts so this will be quick - Let's remember to pay attention to our activity today - are we MOVING MORE? Is there a way we can go a little extra?? Just our thought for this day! School is in session this week through Wednesday. Early Dismissal for our students and teachers on Wednesday - I hope to leave by 4:00/4:30 that day to Kick Start my Thanksgiving Holiday break!! Tracked my day. Added a recipe for DH's favorite dish, Goulash - which I thought was awful but in reality, following the Purple Plan fits very nicely in my Tracker. Who Knew?? LOL - I'll add some seasoning to mine to brighten it up! Yesterday was a GOOD OP day!! Even patted myself on the back for a NSV - I ate my prepared salad after grocery shopping. But wanted to hit a furniture store to compare prices - DH suddenly wanted to go but first he was starving and asked we stop at McDonalds. Ugh. So I got myself a Diet Coke and sipped it while he had cheeseburgers and a Tea. I think I got him thinking...hmmm....fingers crossed there! But I did not crave the McD's despite sitting in the restaurant...NSV!! Whoo Hoo... And the furniture store was a bust. Smelled old. Looked old. And was packed with older folks. LOL Their choices were all the same and nothing what we were searching for...go figure. But it got DH and I out of the house together

Good morning! Starting my post while watching news and will finish on computer.
We raked the yard yesterday. Greg used the blower but underneath the leaves were very wet. Joe and Tiffany helped. Now I hope the village picks them up today. Got my activity for sure!
Christine-yay for a short week. Yes furniture shopping is a pain. It's either discount and cheaper but won't last as long, or you pay a lot for good quality.
Shelly-sorry about your back and tooth. I don't think anyone likes to be hurting and slowed down but it happens. Take care of yourself this week!
Sue-hope that your dentist appointment goes ok. I am on the cancellation list for December otherwise wait till February.

Carole-2 inches of snow? That would be a surprise. Glad that all is going well with the cooking prep. Sad to hear about Matt's side effects - so glad that you are there to give support if needed. Everyone is probably realizing that it is going to be a battle but one that can be overcome.
Jenny-good job on the McDonalds stop. I'm trying to get Greg on board with WW or anything to help be healthier. The retirement thing is wonderful but I would just give advice to think about what he is going to do with his time to still feel productive and satisfied. But it's a learning journey as you go too, 7 years and I still don't have it figured out!

Gabrielle-had to look back to yesterday...glad that you got your shopping done. Yes a night out can work wonders on the soul and break up the routine of life. I see that the band we saw Saturday night are going to be back in Feb.and March so they must have been well liked. Safe travels if I don't talk to you before you leave for So. Cal.
Hello to Jo and anyone else. I do need to get going now and finish getting ready for work. I think some staff members are taking the week off so it might be quiet. I am working on a new 900 hour report anyway so that will take most of the morning I think.
Then I need to stop at the grocery store myself and get brown and serve rolls for Thanksgiving before they sell out. I almost didn't find any last year on Wednesday not going to let that happen again!

Good morning! Got in the some TM time before the last working day (well, working in the office day this week. Getting excited about seeing family over the next few days...sad still for DS20 though. He called last night really frustrated about an assignment that he had put hours in on and was not doing it "right". This is an instructor that he has spoken of---challenged with giving directions. I was no help to him -- except for being a listening hear. I know that he is DREADING turning it in today. He said, "If I don't do well on this, it messes up my next two years" and I told him I didn't think it was quite that bad---but he is still beating himself up over it. Will talk to him later.
Christine: Wow, great job with tracking (and yay for goulash working with the plan!). And you gave DH something to think about at McDonalds---two great wins there! Uggh to furniture shopping! It's so hard to decide....is this a good time for sales? We love our couch and I am kind of shocked to think that we've had it for 11 years now--seems like it hasn't been that long! We've talked about going back to recliners and a comfy love seat next but I haven't really looked...hope that you can find something! So your school still goes until Wed? Most of our districts have stopped because attendance was so poor...other than Labor and Veteran's Day, most have been in session since early August and are ready for the break (except for the unexpected power outages). I am going to love not having many around at work today...wish you had the same. Regardless, so glad that you get some time off with family! Are you going to take Monday off too? Hope that you have a good day.

Sue: Hope that you have a good day!
Carole: Enjoy your annual pie-making! I am sure that you are happy to not be going in to work. Hope it is a good day today and you find some time to get off of your feet.
Shelly: Oh, I'm so sorry about your back! And your tooth too? Ughh. Hope that it is all feeling better soon. That will be nice to have DDIL here to help with dessert preparations! I'll bet that you are looking forward to it. Have a good day!
Lisa: Sounds like you and DH will have another "date night" when the band comes back? So fun! Yay for getting the family in there helping with the yard work--it's great to be outside this time of year. Since we are going to my sister's, I'm not doing a lot of meal planning but, while at the store yesterday, I saw those rolls and remembered that I usually forget to buy them and everyone loves them---yep, better get them before Wednesday! So you are hosting Thanksgiving?
Hello to Jo, Jenny, and all who follow. Hope that you have a shorter week and are looking forward to some family time. See you tomorrow at some point...will still go to track since it is so early and it will be good to get some exercise before the long drive.

Good morning... having a lazy start to the day! I will certainly MOVE MORE as the day goes along! LOL
Yesterday was about as SIMPLE as it can get - I took a nap! I was clearing the dining room table... doing some filing - going through piles of "stuff"...stood up and felt dizzy - headache - nauseous... UGH! Tried to just push through - but MAN... ended up going to lie down! I felt better when I got up - Ken and I got the healthy chicken dinner ready - but then I went to bed again! NOT how I planned to spend the day! Oh well, it's over... and today I have my day mapped out - so it should be fine! Whatever doesn't get done - oh well, it will mean staying later tomorrow night with others there to help!
The good news is - I slept better... and feel better today... so it is what it is!
Lisa: How fun!! YAY for tracking those drinks too!! GOod job!
Jenny: oh well, you DID have a lot going on last week - and I have found "hospitals" do not always offer the healthiest choices! Hard to believe I could not grab a plain salad at MA Gen the other day - unless I got the side salad with the sandwich!
I am so happy for Kerry - and YOU.. to have him out of the dump truck, and HOME to help out! WIN-WIN!
I am off until Friday - this is Kaitlin's year to have BF off - so I will go in... good thing I have today - since I got very little done yesterday! I am thankful that the bank also contributes to my 401k, they meet me dollar for dollar up to 5%, so I can't complain - and yes we get our profit sharing in February... and I have had annual raises every year - I always just "wish for more" I guess!
Gabrielle: How funny to have to re-stock your house with the sitters choices! LOL Holy cow - that was a late night for you! Glad you had fun and had a reserved space away from the crowds!
OH nice... to have the B&B, yes, while visiting family is GREAT - some down time is also needed! I bet your DS would LOVE to have you, but may "Secretly" be feeling good NOT to have more company around 24/7? {{{hugs}}} and enjoy your trip! LOL, I am the crust maker - and I do like doing it... and yes in between batches I will find time to WALK to the ladies room... and sit when I can! I will be wearing my Vionic Flip Flops... so will have the added support as well! Yes, Eden talks about the pie making all the time! She has been going every year! We do "allow" her & Zoë to help roll crust - but they get bored quickly (thankful for that) and then they move on to play! YA For your TG day run... nice to have a "fun" run once in a while I guess!
We didn't get any more snow - but during the night we had some wind... we were one of 12 houses that lost power for about 3 hours, midnight to 3, so it wasn't an issue!
Mmmmmm, fresh green beans... yes they do sound yummy!
Shelly: OH NO! OUCH!! Oh my dear, please take care of yourself... hoping the chiropractor can get you some relief! Did you lift something?? Move wrong?? Isn't it maddening to not KNOW what the heck makes the back go "out"! UGH, sorry the week isn't feeling good for you {{{hugs}}}
Just remember ladies - a "power" recliner won't work in a power outage! My aunt has one, and was telling us how she had to CLIMB OUT when the power went out one day!

Christine - Thanks for starting us today. Yes moving more will not be a problem today - even with standing to get a jump on pies... I already have been hopping up and down with laundry and helping Tracy get pie things organized! YAY for a nice surprise with that casserole! LOVE when the points fit in well! WOO HOO HUGE NSV to not eat at McDonald's "just because"!! Sorry the furniture store didn't pan out - but I guess, an older store wouldn't have all the modern stuff! Good for you and DH enjoying the day out together!
Hey Lisa: YAY for getting your activity yesterday, and it was a team effort! LOVE IT! LOL That 2" is gone now! We are up to 43 right now... so any lingering spots will certainly be gone today! YAY! Thanks, I haven't heard of any other side effects for Matt, so maybe he lucked out and only had the 2 days of it, not the full 5 that the Dr had told him to expect.
Gabrielle: YAY for one last work day for you! Great idea to dress in jeans and be comfortable and productive! Aww, sorry DS20 is having a rough time... I bet the fact he isn't coming home is also hard on him {{{hugs}}} but I bet he is doing better on this project that he thinks! We all just assume we aren't doing it "right" all the time!! Can't wait to hear how it goes for him - fingers crossed it is a WIN for him!!
Thanks hun - I am not even truly on my feet yet... kitchen has been taken over by DH and DD trying to help! LOL It's all good, Tracy is getting some fillings made so when she goes to work, she feels like she has helped - and yes she has... I am still enjoying the pellet stove, and relaxing here with you girls ♥ She is cooking the sweet potatoes going - we have one "special request" for a SP pie... never made one before, but how hard can it be? LOL That and the pecan and pumpkin will be done today!
OK Need to get moving here... and may or may not be back during the day - I do have a lot I want to get done! Let's see how much I actually DO get done! LOL
♥hugs♥

Back is hurting and I’m falling asleep. Hope all is doing well. We will be closed Thursday and DS Michael and family will be over. I was going to catch up but now I just want to go to sleep. Sorry all.
Hope to see all tomorrow
