Chele, thanks for the start. No cake here today. I've had my cake fix for the year since the raspberry elegance cake at DM's party was so good. I was surprised that the store wasn't that crowded on Sunday. I wound up going over to DM's house yesterday and helping her with a couple of things on her computer. She's still worried about the Macy's data breach, but I think she's done all she can. She's waiting on the new credit card now. I wouldn't do well with chocolate cake and potato chips in the house! I hope Iggy's coworkers appreciate the meal. That's a nice 4-foot tree at Michael's. My current one is 7.5 feet and my next one will definitely be shorter. I like it once it's up, but getting it up is a workout.
Karen, the hard water we have here may have been the issue with DBIL's AeroGarden. I know he replaced the pump a couple of times. They do require some work and I think he also just got too busy. I'll take any win over the Gators. I saw that FSU is 17 point underdogs and that the Gators haven't beaten FSU in Gainesville since 2009. I didn't realize it had been that long, so I guess this year is their chance. LOL on the ugly yellow tomatoes. How is the blackberry butter? I saw the new Doctor Who trailer online and it did look intense.
Linda, that's great that the wedding was a success. Planning big events like that is exhausting. (speaking from recent experience!)
Waving to Becky and Liz.

Kathy, that is the pair of house finches that love around here somewhere. I donāt blame DM for being concerned about yet another hack. I have been using Amex gift cards instead of credit cards for my recent purchases. There is only so much they can hack from those. I could handle a 4 footer but not a 7.5 footer. Thatās almost 2.5 feet taller than I am. Yum, raspberry cake!
Karen, I have been the one to bring home less than the best produce and have been made fun of. I just seasoned the zucchini with salt and pepper. They turned out good. I nave made sweet potato āfriesā as well but the butternut squash seasoned with chili powder is my favorite. I had some apricot butter and it was thicker and the flavor was more concentrated than jam or preserves. How is the back feeling today? I like all those seasoned actresses especially Christine Baranski.
Linda, that is great news that the wedding went well and did not trigger DSILās neuralgia. I know what you mean about locating stuff at a newly rearranged grocery store. It should not be allowed. :-)
Becky, I hope the grocery isnāt too crazy tomorrow. Iggy gets off at 2 pm tomorrow, so I will wait for him to come home and then we will pick up the turkey. I hope the PT can loosen up those hamstrings and strengthen your hips to help your knees out. Iāll be interested to hear what type of exercises she gives you. How is the bull doing?
Liz, I hope the commute did not hurt anything. I am sure your brain will be hurting after spending time with the gang at St. Crazy.
I am making chili again. I had a craving. Iggy loved the baked breaded chicken thigh recipe I found. He said it was a keeper. I have increased the intensity my workouts because it is the holiday season. I hope to maintain during the holidays. The Cleveland Clinic recommends getting on a scale frequently during the holiday season to catch an upward trend before it gets too much momentum.

When was the Macy's thing? Think I used cash last month. I mostly use a prepaid debit card from my bank..you only get what I have on it.
Nice pictures people!
Soooooo glad we did not fly back for that wedding last Saturday and have to get home now. So many fights outright cancelled in Denver.
Remember two weeks ago we had to skip the bd party for one year old grandniece because she had hand, mouth, and something virus? Her dad caught it and was suck in bed nine days with fever, etc. There are nasty symptoms for the adult version nobody got this when I grew up...everything though. Is it a day are thing?
cleaning lady morning, and I went off to Michaels sale...not what I needed there except canvases.Trying At Home...came out with nothing but dazzled eyes at all that glitz for Xmas. Tuesday morn had great sale on oversized sherpa throws, so I could get three for the city homeless collection going on.
So far people have been cheerful and nice out there, but traffic is getting aggressive. Parking lots are still civilized!
Going to do cranberry sauce today to give it time to really gel. Tomorrow is pies here too after we pick up the fresh turkey breast we ordered I bring dessert to brother's.

Thanks for the start Chele.I read it was National cake day.No cake here.I love your new avatar. We went to Walmart today and I picked up a few everyday things.I want to go to HEB earlier than we normally do.We need to go there, feed store, bank and Kenneth wants to get his hair cut sometime tomorrow but that may be during my session. She talked about a recumbent bike for tomorrow and some other things. It isn't the bull's foot but his hips and we need to sell him.We can't sell him for 21 days after the shot our friend gave him this morning. Our friend will sell him for us after the first of the year and buy another one and we will pay the difference.I wish I could up my workouts.I miss walking on our road but it seems like any exercise hurts now.
Kathy Did your mom get an email from Macy's?I have a cc with them and I hadn't heard about a data breach.
Linda You are a busy bee.

Thanks for the start, Chele. I would eat cake if I had it. I may be baking one tomorrow for the holiday. Look at those cute little birdies in your avatar! Are you having to pay fees for the Amex gift cards? I would love to do something like that for the nieces and nephews, but I don't want to pay their extra fees. We had a credit union in NC that used to waive the fees for members but nothing like that here. In fact, I can get them with less fees at WM than I can at my bank where we have a preferred status account. The back is pretty weird. It just about kills me to get up from a sitting position and back down. But it didn't hurt at all on the Nu-Step this morning and caused me no problems at Osteo, where I had another new personal best on a machine today. Christine Baranski's character is definitely a complex one in the movie. My favorite line of hers is when she meets Susan Sarandon's character for the first time and introduces herself as, "Ruth, as in Ruth Bader Ginsberg". Susan's character spent a lot of time as a roadie for REO Speedwagon and then introduces herself as, "Isis, as in the terrorist group."
Becky, if your hamstrings are tight and your hips are weak, that could definitely put pressure on your knees. Sorry things don't sound good on the bull, but good that you have a plan. That's good that you had a lot of choices on green leaf lettuce. Our spring mix department was pretty depleted when I went to Food City today. I'm anxious to hear how PT goes tomorrow for you. Hope they can get you a decreased pain level within a few sessions and then work on the hamstrings and hips to get them strong and flexible.
I agree, Kathy, that DM has done all she can do with the data breach and I hope she will cease the worry. As someone who seems to get hacked pretty much every year, you can only do so much and have to let it go as just part of life. If DBIL has hard water, I'm guessing that was why he had pump issues. I rarely had these problems with the city water at the old house. I didn't realize the Gators haven't beaten FSU in that may years. Hoping it will be a bit longer. LOL. I finished off the elderberry jam this morning, so I may try the blackberry butter tomorrow. Dale was even intrigued with the Doctor Who trailer and said he might have to watch. Never thought I would hear that, even though I think he would like it.
Linda, I'm happy to hear that the wedding went well and DSIL survived. I heard Denver Stapleton was closed. It must be bad for that to happen. Glad you didn't get caught in that travel mess. Sorry you missed being at the wedding, but you saved a lot of hassle by not going. Kid diseases are so much worse when adults catch them. Hate to hear that about grandniece's father. I was never so sick as an adult as when I caught strep from my nieces when they were 2 and 4. Do you have an A.C. Moore store near you? I heard yesterday that they are closing, so that might be another option for art supplies at a good price. Traffic here was nuts today. I think the entire state of Mississippi came to Tennessee for Thanksgiving.
How did the day go, Liz? I hope you got home at a decent time.
Dropped almost $200 on groceries, among Earth Fare, Aldi, and Food City. We needed a bunch of stuff plus the extra stuff for Thanksgiving dinner and we already had a turk'y roast in the freezer that I caught on sale a few months ago. Tomorrow will be a cooking day, with Arya needing beef for breakfasts and getting a few things started so I won't have so much to do on Thursday. Arya didn't get us up until almost 7 this morning, so maybe we'll have another late morning tomorrow when I don't have to be any where.
