Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Ruth - thanks for keeping us updated on FB CBers. Hope you aren’t getting as much snow as predicted.
I looked at 10 day forecast for Buffalo, I don’t see snow until Tuesday of next week. I’m ok with that. I don’t like driving in the snow at night, so it’s nice that there isn’t going to be snow on Thursday. I’m working on Friday morning for other cashier. She does that Black Friday shopping with her sisters.
Just kicking around today. My kitchen looks great, sorted a lot of my plastic containers. Getting rid of the cheap stuff, tossed some too. I have so many containers it’s not funny.
A load of laundry in the washer, towels next. Then work.
Enjoy your day

Joyce, we are having another nice day but rain and cold are predicted starting tomorrow. Thanksgiving and Friday are just cold but no rain. DS and family go get their Christmas Tree on their way home from our house. It is a place where we used to cut down trees when we had real trees.
Ruth, I have to hold my eyelid to get the drops in. I had a lot of trouble with eye drops till I had to start using the one for dry eyes. The main eye drop I’m on is for Glaucoma, that eye drop makes my eyes real red so I put in the Glaucoma eye drop in at night and then the one that helps with the redness in the morning. The other eye drop is for dry eyes, I use that 1 or 2 times daily. I know what you mean about sending the left overs home and never seeing the container again. That happens in our house also. I’m sure the twins will enjoy the freezer. DS#2 has a freezer and he buys things on sale. DS#1 doesn’t, maybe that is something we could get for them one year. Hope you don’t get all that snow.
I went out grocery shopping this morning, the stores were not crowded but I’m sure tomorrow will be another story. Tomorrow I want to chop my celery and onions for the stuffing/dressing. I also want to make my gluten free corn bread and use some in the gluten free stuffing. We will also get the room the boys sleep in ready, the other 2 rooms are in good shape. I plan on staying away from the stores on Friday morning, if I see something in an ad I might head out late afternoon or early evening. I hate the crowds that are out on Black Friday morning.

Good evening all. Tired, didn’t sleep well last night for some reason. My left knee has started causing me some problems and waking me up during the night. Next spring I’m afraid I’ll be getting it replaced too.
We got up this morning and after doing a few things here, we left and ran errands. Had to stop at Target, then to Costco. I ran in and got a pie for Thursday and then we picked out a real tree. We like Frazier Firs and they carry only those for $37.99. I can remember when real trees were $10-$15!!! Then we went to meet DIL to get Mara. She was about 20 min late!! Mara was happy to see us an to come with us. She was fascinated with the tree in the car next to her. Stan got it cut and in the stand and she’s been looking but not touching or getting close. We had to run to Target tonight to pick up a floor lamp I ordered because we had to move the end table with a lamp to get the tree in place. I had been meaning to order a lamp before, now it was urgent because it leaves half the great room in the dark. Of course they need totally assembled. DH got that done but we have to figure out how to place it since it has a shade that hangs down.
Got Mara in bed. She didn’t have a nap because she didn’t get up until 10:30 for her mom. We didn’t give her a nap and put her down about 8:00. Not letting her sleep that late tomorrow because I want her to have a nap. Not sure if we’ll have her until dinner tomorrow or thru to Friday afternoon. Her dad has a dr appt Friday afternoon and Friday morning he wants DH to help them get the 2 cars they are selling to Auto Max. Will be nice to get rid of them with the snow and all.
Tomorrow we’ll put lights on the tree. Then probably Friday afternoon or Saturday afternoon we’ll put on ornaments. Friday morning DH will be gone but Heather and the girls are coming out and we’re going to bake and decorate sugar cookies. Then Sat am we want to go to WW and then we have a friend’s 70th birthday party after WW. Sunday the cleaning lady is coming.
I’m praying we don’t get as much snow as they are talking about. Last I had heard was possibly 9-12”!! I won’t be driving for a while now.
Talked (texted) to Carol tonight. She was to have chemo this morning, but her hemoglobin was 5; last chemo day it was 8; they want it to be 10-12!!! So they gave her a transfusion; she has to go back for another in the morning; and then possibly chemo. They told her if she started feeling weak or light headed to head to the ER. They wanted to admit her but she didn’t want that.
Ok, going to relax for a while and get to bed a little earlier since I also have to listen for Mara. I’ll let you know tomorrow how much snow we’re getting!
