Breakfast - Fried eggs & roasted potatoes
Lunch - Maybe a small lettuce salad and some bean soup
I have a 5:00 pm reservation at Ruth's Chris. I'll probably go around 4 pm and have a cocktail at the bar. Here's the menu, and best of all, I don't have to cook or bring anything:
Starters - Choose One:
Caesar salad · steak house salad · Louisiana seafood gumbo
ENTRÉE - Oven-roasted turkey breast with sausage & herb stuffing, homemade gravy & cranberry relish
Sides - Choose One:
garlic mashed potatoes · sweet potato casserole · creamed spinach · green beans
Dessert - pumpkin cheesecake & vanilla ice cream
Please don't ask me how many points this is, and on top of that, tomorrow is my birthday. I just get all the eating over with in one week and then stay on program until Christmas.

White wine—0 to 2 glasses depending on mood My mood would definitely dictate 2 glasses of wine.

I’m very excited this year because we are having a non traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Our daughter in law’s family had relatives in from out of town a few weeks ago, so they celebrated then with turkey and all the fixings. Turkey is fine but it is not my favorite, so we are having short ribs, carrots, mashed potato, broccoli casserole, deviled eggs, and rolls.
Maybe we’ll crack out the turkey and usual sides for Christmas.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
