Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Working this morning 7-11, then going to craft show. I’ll stop back later.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, we did. Dinner was great as usual. And the Bills game was fantastic.
See ya later.
Update: found cute gifts for the office girls at the craft show. Medium sized Christmas stockings with either pancake mix, brownie mix, or chocolate chip cookie mix. No luck for Secret Santa gift. I also bought myself a nice crochet hat with flower on it, and a felt penguin to put on my front door.

Joyce, hope you enjoyed the craft fair. Bill and DS#1 were rooting for the Bills, they don’t like Dallas at all.
Ruth, I guess you are having a busy day with all 3 girls at the house. How is Stan feeling? We are supposed to get some snow tomorrow and more on Sunday night into Monday morning.
DS#1 and family left early afternoon to get their tree on their way home. They texted a picture of the tree before they cut it. When Bill and I would cut our own tree it never looked big in the tree lot but was usually too big for the space when we got it home. DS#1 has a nice size family room with a vaulted ceiling so they always look for a big tree. Bill is starting to set up our tree. We have used an artificial tree since 2001. The year before we got the artificial tree, Bill had bad allergies from the tree, there was mold on the tree and he ended up with a sinus infection.

Good evening all. I started posting on here earlier today, got interrupted a couple times and then lost what I had written!!! Sigh......
We let Mara sleep in this morning until 11:00 am (we usually wake her by 9 so she’ll nap in the afternoon) because with the girls coming we didn’t think she’d get a nap before it was time to meet her daddy. About 4, right before we were to leave to meet up, she gathered up the animals she sleeps with and went to the gate and wanted to go upstairs for a nap. She likes her bed. She was disappointed we wouldn’t let her go up. And she slept the last 10 min in her car seat before we met him. But I think they will all have an early bedtime tonight because DS/DIL both had trouble sleeping last night. DS was having breathing issues due to congestion and stomach issues. One was due to overeating I’m sure. I’m guessing the breathing issues were due to sitting next to our Christmas tree a good part of the time they were here yesterday. We got and used an artificial tree for a good part of his childhood due to allergy issues. I didn’t even think that he should have sat farther away from it! DD came out right before lunch with Harper & Sawyer. She had chores she made them do first. After I made lunch for everyone, DH helped the girls bake sugar cookies and then they got to decorate them. We let Mara sit with them and put a little frosting on 2 cookies, which she proceeded to eat!!! DD was taking them to see Frozen 2 later this afternoon. She went in town (near where we used to live) to the theaters at the mall and said it was crazy!!! She forgot about it being Black Friday. DSIL is flying so she was trying to entertain the girls. I sent all the cookies they made home with them.
Joy, the craft fair sounds like a good one. I only got to one this year. Wished I could go with older DD to the big one in LaCrosse. I need to find a birthday gift for a friend who used to work with me who is having a 70th birthday open house tomorrow. Her hubby and daughter are throwing it. Not sure if a gift is required, but I’d feel funny going w/o something. I will either stop on the way in tomorrow or I will stay home since the weather is supposed to be bad anyway. How much are you supposed to spend on the Secret Santa thing? I’ve never done one of those.
We found the leak under the kitchen sink last night I got under there to get dishwasher pods and it was all wet again. We discovered it’s the garbage disposal that is leaking out the bottom. DH was saying it’s old, remember we kept it when they re-did the kitchen 3 years ago. And I reminded him that we kept it because it was only like a year old at that time, not an old one! So it’s maybe 4-1/2 years old and really shouldn’t be leaking. I probably have the receipt for it in a file downstairs. We used a local plumbing company for it. For now Stan put a plastic container under it to collect water when we use that side of the sink or the disposal.
Stan is feeling good, thank you for asking. He was out of AFib for 5 days; back in AFib for 12 hours; and now out of AFib again for 2 days. His heart rates are in the high 40’s, low 50’s, which makes him tired, but not the groggy headed, bone weary tired, just plain tired. He says he’ll take it. It’s the 2nd medicine they added back that make the heart rate that slow. We go see his cardiologist this week and we’ll see what he has to say.
Ok, a few chores to do before bedtime. I’m still battling this congestion/cough stuff and not sleeping well. And not liking the weather forecast. And I think the cold is making my arthritis worse all over. Shoulders really hurt.
Will check in sometime tomorrow!
