Chele, how's your weather today? I saw there were a lot of flight cancellations. We had "the s word" here this morning but none of it stuck. They did have 1.5 inches in Gatlinburg, however. How did Iggy's test and doctor's visit go? Hope all is well. The office gang must have liked his baklawa if it's making a return to the office so soon.
When will your ITBandz arrive, Becky? I hope they will work for you. Our wind finally died down during the night, but we are only up to 40 so far. Glad I have "tush toasters" in the car because I will have mine on for the trip tonight. Speaking of tush, how is yours? Definitely good the knees weren't impacted. Did you have PT today? Did they look at your thumb? I'll bet it hurts.
Kathy, do you think the interim FSU coach will get considered? Other than UF, he had a pretty good record since he took over. Did you get a drop in temperature? How goes your Christmas shopping?
I guess your neighborhood decorates early, Linda. I'll get to see Christmas lights in the city driving to and from the MG Christmas dinner tonight. I usually don't get out after dark. Did you have art class today?
Liz, how was your first day back? Did you do cabs back and forth from GCS? How much snow did you get in the city and at home? I saw either Albany or Buffalo on the a.m. news and it didn't look good. I don't think either of those cities is particularly close to you.
We have been working on paperwork for the RE agent since after I posted last night. I think we have it all done now, so I hope the house will be on the market this week and sold next week. Or is that too much to hope for? Their RE market is supposed to still be really strong and interest rates are relatively low. I spent the morning cooking pilaf and veggies for Arya. For some reason, I got more pilaf than usual, so I have 37 containers in the downstairs freezer. I even ran out of bowls and had to use jars for the last 5. That means I won't have to do another big cook until next year, but I'm worn out from all that time on my feet. So I'll rest until I have to get ready to leave. I also have the 2nd load of laundry in th washer, so I will take care of that before I leave. I hope we'll have a good turnout tonight. Gee, maybe someone else will decide they want to be president for next year. Yes, I think I must be dreaming on that one.

Karen, thanks for the start and enjoy your soirĂ©e. Are you making your fruit âcake?â Wow, on your DB and DSILâs NOLA trip. I am glad they heeded the localâs advice.
Becky, I hope the ITBandz can give you a little relief. I am glad you didnât hurt yourself badly with your fall especially your knees. How is the thumb today?
Kathy, I saw your temps had dropped today. Is it sweater weather? Did you do any Cyber Monday shopping?
Linda, how pretty your tree looks! It puts me in the Christmas mood. I see your temps are nice today. Still getting rain?
Liz, I hope you are not getting much snow. Our temperature dropped and it is cloudy bit no white stuff. Was this a PT day? Did you get to leave early? How was St Crazy?
Iggy is finished with his Gastric Emptying Scan. It was not like an MRI at all. He had to ingest a small amount of radioactive material with some food and lay flat on his back for 2 hours while a machine pointed at his stomach scanned the digestive progress of the food. I teased him and told him he was glowing. He is at his other appointment right now.
We went to Samâs Club in between his appointments. I wanted to go alone because he impulse buys and I donât. I didnât and he did, impulse buy, that is. Oy!
The goldfinch returned today and sat on the tube feeder perch for a good half hour. He may turn into a regular visitor.

Good afternoon chicks and thanks for the start Karen.
Don't be too shocked but yes; I worked from home today! Gary felt with all the ice and impending snow that it would be safer and for once i listened. I actually didn't want to risk a fall and although I could have gotten in, they were very leery about the commute home. We have had sleet, snow, frozen rain and snow again so far today.
Chele - great avatar and how about those Bungles winning one! The Eagles lost again to Miami so we are officially disgusted. Very cool about the gold finch and hope he continues to return. Will send all good karma that Iggy's tests come out well and perhaps with some positive information to help improve his discomfort. I've been sending/reading work emails and having no impulse to do Cyber Monday buying.
Karen - Wow on all that cooking you did; that's a boat load of pilaf and veggies! Keeping fingers crossed and sending good karma for the old house selling quickly. I will go in tomorrow and present myself to Worker Health for clearance. I sent my note into them this morning and explained I was working from home for safety. I still was up at 4:am since I thought I'd be going in but decided that Gary was right. I also heard from my train pals who were happy I stayed home as well. I managed to take Wally out for a walk in the back yard where I had better footing but of course he wanted to go out front and I almost slipped and fell. YIKES that was the end of that! Hope all goes well with the meeting this evening. Was chuckling about someone else taking over the presidency. Be safe and have a good evening! PT is tomorrow evening so I am hoping that will continue to help. Love the planter/avatar! Very cute and seasonal!!
Waving to Kathy, Becky and Linda! Ciao for now lovely ladies!

Yes, I did finally get to art and finish a painting of an apple place in upstate NY. That was after a detour to Discount Tire because the car said problem with a tire...guess it was the annual drop in temps drops your tires pressure time, and mine were down ten pounds! Yikes on all that cooking, Karen.
Cheke, that is a weird test!Hope the results are useful. Liz...good choice! Where I used to live, roads are closed except to plows, police and fire!

Karen, thanks for the start. I don't think FSU's interim coach will be seriously considered. I'm not sure why since he has done well and the players like him. It was in the 60s today and felt wonderful. It will be dropping into the 40s tonight, so brrrrrr! That would be a great Christmas present if the house sold. Hope it goes quickly. That was a lot of cooking! Ha on someone else wanting to be president. I'm thinking you are it. Hope the meeting goes well.
Chele, it seemed like the Black Friday deals were better than the Cyber Monday ones this time around. I checked a few sites where I need to buy a couple of things, but they didn't have any real deals up. How about you? It's sweater weather at last here for a few days. Hope all went well with Iggy's tests. DBIL is the same way as Iggy on the impulse buying when he goes to Costco. Hope the goldfinch is a regular.
Liz, so glad you worked from home! I was thinking about you today and worried about that commute in your weather. I was shocked to see that the Dolphins beat the Eagles. Not sure how that happened. Linda, cute cartoon!
Becky, hope you're not too sore today.

Chele I'm sorry Iggy is an impulse buyer.I'm glad neither of us are.Did he find out anything today?
Liz I'm glad Gary talked you into staying home today with the weather.
Kathy I have been really disappointed with the few Cyber Monday websites I have had time to look at.
