Hepatitis A Outbreak Potentially Linked to Blackberries Sold in 11 StatesHere’s what we know There is a multistate outbreak of hepatitis A illnesses in Indiana, Nebraska and Wisconsin. So far, 11 consumers in those three states have gotten sick. Six of them have been hospitalized. They all reported eating fresh blackberries purchased at Fresh Thyme between September 9 and September 30, 2019. It appears the potentially contaminated fruit came from a distribution center that ships to Fresh Thyme locations in 11 states: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. (Editor’s Note: This only affects non-organic berries.)

DotRen ,- you are really up to date on this stuff- Thank you very much. I'm beginning to wonder if anything is safe to eat! I know, it's scary. I've seen a few lately that were recalled because they weren't inspected, but most of those never make it to the store shelves.
