Hi Friends, I don't often eat soup but am trying to change things up. Lunch is my most challenging meal. I know a lot of home made soups are delicious but I don't often make them or have them ready to go - any suggestions for canned or other soups that I can keep in the pantry and use sometimes. Good tasting, not loaded with sodium...maybe I am asking for too much?

I make my own so not canned...but it's soooo easy to make your own and freeze batches or portions.

I use Progresso bean soup but they are high in sodium. The best bet is to make your own.

I make my own. I think most tinned or dry soups are higher in sodium than making them at home BUT soup is not so great without enough salt. Hubby adds lemon juice most of the time to his and I tend to add hot sauce.
My easy soup is to peel a potato and chop then add in one or more chopped vegetable and cook till tender. If you are planning to blend the soup to smooth then I try not to use red and green veg together as the soup turns brown.
Easiest would be to make a big pot and freeze portions if you have enough freezer space.
I found this list but have not tried any of them:
