Chele, I hope you're having an enjoyable birthday. The new avatar is adorable. I had forgotten about The Christmas Story and having to go out for Chinese because of the Bumpass hounds eating the turkey. The appetizer and a side may be the way to go at dinner. The entrees looked like a lot of food with the main course, salad, and a couple of sides. Do they do anything special for birthdays? You're probably right about Panthers coach not being surprised about the firing. He was a good guy and even took them to the Super Bowl. But things haven't gone well for the past couple of seasons.
Sorry your stylist is moving to Hawaii, Linda. I still miss my gal in NC. But then I was the one who moved away. I went to her for 23 years and watched her kids grow up. The one I have here does a good job, but not as good. Hope you like the new one. I remember those 2 and 3 foot snows from where I grew up in northern WV. Fun as a kid but not so fun as an adult.
Becky, it sounds like the new therapist gave you a very thorough chronology of why you knees have been hurting so badly. I hope that will translate into getting as much of this resolved as possible. Nothing you can probably do about the scoliosis, but if you were somewhat pain-free after therapy yesterday, it sounds like there should be hope.
Are your temps warming any today, Kathy? When will you and DS go Christmas shopping? It will be nice for you to be able to go in the middle of the week when the crowds are lighter.
Liz, how did the commute and work day go yesterday?
I woke up not feeling too great. I think it might be sinus drainage. I had a mug of chamomile, lavender, and ginger tea and am starting to feel a little better. Dale is going to "tick trail" today (I told him to use the OFF! liberally) and I hope to feel better by the time he gets home this afternoon and will plan to work out then. I have a big butternut squash in the oven for Arya and may just work on master gardener stuff today. The USPS packages we were supposed to get yesterday are listed as "out for delivery" today. We'll see if that changes back to "in transit" before the end of the day.

commute and THEN PT? owie!
Hope dinner was great, Chele.
Migraine weather triggers..never did get out of bed all morning here. Made myself eat oatmeal. It is the dizzy, nausea , sinus ache kind. Finally got up and dud a load of towels and made Julia Child's potato leek soup fir supper...easy to make and easy on the tummy.Sometimes cooking onions helps the headache...bit better now.
We had robo calls all day...ten from our number in two days! blocked it.
So Micki got a quick walk before it rains. Very dark 2/3 of sky and looks like the wrath if God to the north!

Karen Of course she also said the tightness will come back and it does after I do any kind of walking or exercise even in the house.I did the stretches first thing this morning after using the heating pad and they did help before I did the WATP video. However we had to go to HEB and Walmart today plus I rode the bike this afternoon so my whole body is tired and I'm hurting. It will get better with time I believe.I hope you are feeling better and Dale didn't come home with ticks.
Liz I don't see how you can commute, work and then do PT on top of that.
Chele I hope you enjoyed your birthday dinner. One of my brothers had a birthday today too.
Linda I hope you are feeling better by now.
