Day 35 Get Ready to Weigh In
This is another day about getting ready to weigh in. We’ve been through this a number of times during the review plus a lot of us have years of experience monitoring our weight.
Have you gotten to the point where your scale number is just that, a number with no emotional or judgmental baggage?

Recently I've admitted to myself that I am invested in what the scale says when I weigh in. I'm always looking to see if it is starting to trend upwards and I need to address portion creep. Yet, I don't trust the number if it is a big down number since I do a negative number on myself about being able to do the work to lose weight.

Scale number is not a big deal to me these days. Once I get back into "loss" mode 100% then I am sure it will increase in importance

No I have not gotten to where there is no emotion or judgment attached to my number on the scale, even though I have been firmly maintaining for years. I always get a little lift when the number goes down and a negative reaction when it goes up. The feeling passes instantly, I know it's not helpful, but it's always there. When the number stays the same, I'm like, meh, OK.
