Thanks for the start, Chele. What was on your agenda today? Does Iggy get any extra time off for the holidays, or will he have to work except for Christmas and New Year? Does he have any out of town travel scheduled? Kathy, as usual, I am hoping Clemson will win it all. But, like you, I'll pulling for LSU tomorrow. How was your shopping trip to Sanford? Did you get everything you were looking for? LOL on the prison stripes. Did you replace it with something else or just return it? What's all this gunfire in FL, between the shootout from the hijacked UPS truck in Miami and the naval base in Pensacola? What is it going to take to get gun violence under control in this country? You had quite day yesterday, Linda! I think I would have gotten the fruit filled crepe as a reward after the dentist. Can you use a sensitive toothpaste until the nerves return to normal? You didn't actually say, but I guess you enjoyed the movie. That's so sad about the pizza place closing. Did the property owner seize it because the guy wasn't paying his rent or is there something else going on, like the owner is going to sell the property? I'm sure Micki looks adorable after grooming and I hope things went well with your shot. Becky, it sounds like there is hope on getting rid of the stiffness, but it will take some time. I went through 7 months of PT twice a week to get IT bands, knees, and leg length discrepancy back under control. You'll just need to be patient and I don't think that's a strength of any of us on this thread. How many local WW options do you have? Is there an actual center like there is in some places or a meeting in another location like a church or civic building? How did the week go, Liz? I'll bet you are beyond exhausted and I hope you can get some rest this weekend. How is Wally doing with his tushie issue? How are Zoe's ears? Do you have all your shopping done? We didn't get up until after 7, and Dale was the first one up. I was kidding last night about saying I wanted to sleep until 7 but he took me seriously. Despite getting up late, I worked out, made a batch of savory oats and did a load of laundry. I also talked to one of the MG board members for about half an hour. I will get Christmas gifts together to mail out this afternoon and then will just have to wrap Dale's and possibly Arya's. Our last 2 dogs loved to unwrap gifts, especially Phoebe. One year we were having breakfast and realized that she had disappeared and found that she had started opening gifts without us. This will be Arya's 3rd Christmas here and she paid no attention to packages the first couple. I plan to do a trial run to see if there is any reason to go the extra effort or just give her new toys to her unwrapped. Dale has a phone job interview this afternoon. He was looking for something just part time but applied for this one because the money is crazy good, but it's full time. He's also got a couple of part time prospects, so it looks like he'll be doing something and that's ok. I'll have enough going on with master gardeners that it could be equivalent of a full time job. What have I gotten myself into?

Linda, I hope Micki got an after groomer treat for being such a good boy. How was the shot?
Karen, the cats loved to open presents (and play with the ornaments) but Teddy couldn’t have cared less. I know you love to be busy, so I am sure the MG presidency is right up your alley. I prefer a slothlike retirement. Good luck to Dale in his interviews. How is that tick bite? Nothing on the agenda today. My sinuses are killing me. Iggy will be in Chicago for a few days, the 16th through the 18th.
Kathy, how was the shopping trip? Glad you got your tree out of the closet. I haven’t done a thing yet. I think I'll start after the weekend unless I have jury duty. I received a summons a few weeks ago and am supposed to go to the courthouse on Monday unless it is cancelled.
Liz, did St Crazy drive you mad? How was PT and the commute? Any Christmas decorations up?
Becky, I am sure there are good PTs and average PTs. I hope you get the good one again.
Just stopped into visit. I did one load of laundry, taken a nap, and have prepped dinner. Didn’t get much done today. Yesterday the larger woodpecker was back. I looked him up and he is a red bellied woodpecker and quite pretty.

Good afternoon Chicks and thanks for the start Chele. Chele - I hope the sinuses and headaches settle down for you. It's been a fairly challenging week for me. 10,400 - 14,500 - 12,100 (Tues.Wed.Thurs. steps). I am fairly shot and am looking forward to getting out of here by 5:pm. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your BD dinner and goodies in the morning. It's an odd vibe around here and I'm not really sure what to make of it. Lots of tension and unhappy folks. Not a great way to work during the holidays. I am done most of my shopping; I may go out tomorrow to Kohl's to finish up a few items. I think we're only supposed to make it to 36 degrees tomorrow so it will be a cold one. Kathy - how was the shopping trip? Did you find good things or any items you wanted to purchase for Christmas? How is DM doing? Becky - sounds like you are making good progress with PT so far. As Karen stated it really is a process that often requires quite a bit of patience for true healing to happen. I wasn't too convinced about my ItBandz at first either but then realized after wearing it for a week that it was definitely helping me and giving support to the knee. I hope you continue to do well and find some relief. Linda - how are you feeling? Did Micki have his burger after grooming? or is that only the vet? Good luck with the 2nd shot today. I hope the teeth and fillings don't bother you too much with any sensitivity. Karen - no Christmas decorations up yet other than my Snoopy Christmas wreath. I think Gary may try tomorrow but that remains to be seen. He was pretty tired last night and this morning from his work week also. PT was fine but I realized I was exhausted from my day and that made things harder. I will go twice next week and then I think one more week after. Wally's tush hasn't really shown any improvement but Zoe's ear is doing better since I've nagged Gary to do the treatments. I saw the physiatrist this morning for the right knee. Besides a bit of fluid he also showed me a bone spur. He teased me about being a spur gal since we seem to find them in all my joints. He removed the fluid and gave me cortisone shot. I'm hoping that will help me get through the holidays and work the next few weeks with much less pain and discomfort. How has the head been? Anymore headaches? I don't know why but I think I am reacting to the Jarrow Curcumin 95 I started taking again. It seems to be upsetting my my gut and bowels. I am hoping to do some recovery from the week this weekend as next week will be the full 5 days. I hope you all stay warm and safe dear ladies. I am off to clear my desk and try to get going. Ciao for now~

Thanks for the start Chele.
Linda I hope your injection went well.
Karen The ortho only okayed 6 weeks so I don't know how much relief I will get in that time. There is a WW in Bastrop but it meets on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM and Kenneth doesn't do well driving in the dark which is why I chose Taylor to go once a month. That meeting is at 12:30.It's at a small events center in Taylor. The one in Bastrop is in a Pentecostal church. The same leader does both meetings and I really like her.I have never wrapped Scooter's gifts. She just wants to play with the toy.She has gotten to where she doesn't play much with her toys.I don't get the cats anything.Give Marcey and empty box and she is happy.Good luck to Dale in his interviews.
Chele We have a redbird that comes and goes and always hits the big bathroom window.
Liz Those steps are just from going from one place to another at work? That is a challenging week.I'm sorry there is so much tension at work.I have started wearing the ITBandz just when I exercise now and it seems better that way.I hope you get some relief with your knees as well. You need to relax as much as you can this weekend.

Chele, thanks for the start. The shopping trip was fun and the stores were doing a good business, but they weren't crowded at all. I'm sure that'll be different tomorrow. Macy's had some really good sales going on, so we spent a bit of time there. We got a lot done, but still have a lot to do. My living room is solid boxes right now and the tree is still on its side. Oh no on having jury duty. Is it downtown or do you have local courthouses? Our county has everything in one huge 23 story courthouse downtown. You have to be there before 8am and the traffic is horrendous. I hope yours is closer to you. I saw some ducks this morning that I don't usually see around here. They were almost black with white throats. There were still ibis wandering around too.
Liz, I'm sorry your week was so hard and there is so much tension at work. I know that's a really tough environment. Hope you can relax this weekend.
Karen, I get tired of the same teams being at the top every year, so that's why I chose LSU to root for. Of course, I'll make an exception for the years when FSU is at the top, lol. I had a lot of fun on an FSU alumni trip from Houston to Baton Rouge and the LSU fans were great to us, so that's part of the reason I'm partial to LSU. If LSU falls out, I'll root for Clemson. Hope Dale has success with the interviews. I'm sure you'll be very busy with the master gardeners, but hope that it's something you'll enjoy doing.
Waving to Becky and Linda.

Chele, hope if they call you in that it is a short, simple case. I have been three times and never get chosen...might be that part about working with cops at school and related to a probation They do not seem too fond of advanced college degrees either.
Shot went fine after we dropped off Micki, but as usual, knee aches later, not bad but enough to be a bother. Should be better tomorrow.. So I took it easy and worked on my puzzle....a real stinker with lots of little, hard to identify things in it.
Yes, Micki got his mac donald's burger on the way home! He gets a pice of treat in a lightly twisted piece of wrapping paper every now and then when we unwrap gifts. He finds that enough challenge.
We did like the movie...go see it. It is fun.
