Itβs KOKO today. All meals are at home so no excuses. I need to clean the clutter today and get organized for the week. Dinner is halibut with a green vegetable, perhaps asparagus, and a big salad.

Sunday will be another busy day. Will start with coffee and a walk then making sandwiches to take to church. We are having our Childrens Christmas program and refreshments afterwards. As soon as that's over we are scooting to town with the dog for her grooming appt and toenail trimming. Will do a little shopping while she's having this done. Need to string a lot of OP days together.
Audrey, thanks for the start. I enjoyed my Saturday at home. I got my file cabinet cleaned out and reorganized. I have several other organization projects to work on. Good luck decluttering.
Ann, hope you find some good things at BJs.

I can KOKO and keep working to get ready for my daughter's arrival Monday night. I have her room cleaned with fresh linens on the bed, furniture polished and floors mopped. I will work on a few other areas if there is time and continue with laundry. Also need to buy coffee beans and a couple bottles of wine so if she wants a glass before bed she can have it. It is gloomy and rain is expected but it will be a good day.
ANN:As I typed your name I wondered (again) why some people spell their names the way they do. The main names that come to mind are Ann/Anne and Carol/Carole but there are also those that end not only with/without the E on the end but the ones that might have an e/y/ie on the end...hmm... Anyway... I hope Carl continues to enjoy his grand jury duty days. You make me (almost) want to find the Christmas music.
LADONNA: It sounds like you DID shop till you dropped! Wow!!! What did you find to wear to the wedding festivities this weekend? I am sorry your shoulder hurts and do hope the MRI shows something easy to treat that does not require surgery. I have had bland Chinese...usually end up using soy sauce or hot sauce to perk it up. My daughter bought me some fleece-lined leggings that are a lot like tights. I think I will end up wearing them more this year as I have more sweaters and tops tow ear them with Children's programs for Christmas can be so much fun!
AUDREY: I do understand flushing out the salt after meals away from home! It sounds BUSY at your house this holiday!
PAM: Hooray for WI and having a good day.
BECKY: I am glad you found the chain necklace you were looking for. Hope the rain will arrive sooner than later since you need it.
MJ: Good to see your post

Good morning, Audrey - Ann - LaDonna - Cathy - and AWF!
Today's the final day of training for Young Marines Recruit Class of 2019-2. It's been a grueling weekend, exacerbated by the need to work in alternate spaces on both Friday night and Saturday. Today's supposed to be in our usual rooms; I'm really praying that it's true, since the day ends with a graduation ceremony and reception. Toots will be on hand for the reception and since he did the February one, he knows the drill (no pun intended).
Must take one more look at today's lists; it can all get done if I stick to the script.
Coffee helps... βββ...
βββββββββ Have a healthy-eating day, all! βββββββββ

Reset button has been firmly pressed. The nachos were worth it but done! Audrey - I'm having ribs but controlled portion. Enjoy your day. Ann - Hope your weather cooperates. LaDonna - Enjoy the childrens program at church. Sounds like you got a lot done. You must be getting excited for your daughter's arrival Cathy! MJ - You and Toots are amazing grandparents. I know parents that don't do half what you do.

Audrey and Ann I will join you on the KOKO bus.
LaDonna Enjoy your walk and children's program at church. We are having a Christmas Cantata tonight at church but we aren't going this year.Kenneth doesn't drive as well after dark anymore and I don't want to give him the extra stress.Besides that way I don't have to avoid the dessert reception afterwards.LOL.
Cathy I'm sure you are getting excited about DD's visit.Even with a 50-70% chance of rain the one day this week we aren't even expecting over 1/2" of rain.It gets frustrating sometimes when we are in a drought.
MJ Enjoy the last day and then put your feet up and rest.
Ann I don't think it has ever gotten below 0 here.We have seen as low as 0 and as high as 112 in the summer all in the same year.
Susi I'm always glad there is a reset button. You will do well.
We are leaving for church soon. Then there are usual Sunday afternoon chores and it will be a low key day after that hopefully.

Coming on here to give an update on eye --- and a rant. Will start with the rant.
How come no matter what I want to buy, everyone wants to give me a discount? Did they overcharge me to begin with? My suspicious mind thinketh so.
The drops I was using made the eye too dry after 3 days, so I sent DDIL to get a lighter gel drop. One I can still see with and read.
Hopefully soon I can be back often.
Miss y'all!

Bee gotta love those 'vanity price tags' Hope the new eye gel drops kick in. Miss you as well.
We did go and run a few errands. Carl had to pick up an Rx and I decided to tag along. Now happy to be back home again. Guess we have a 'heat wave' as it's now up to 26! Wow. Pretty soon I'll open windows LOL.

LaDonna, enjoy the children's program at church. Cathy, I know you will be ready for your daughter's visit. Yes, water does the job to get rid of the sodium. My weight went back down again. MJ, such a busy weekend during the holiday season. I hope all of the training activities go well today. Susi, at least we all know there is a reset button after indulgences. Your FB photos look like you had a great time yesterday. Becky, enjoy the low key day after church. Ann, it is good you are having a low key day too. Bee, discounts drive me crazy too at times. What is the real price and will it be cheaper tomorrow? I hope the lighter gel drops work better for your eye. Hi to June, Pam and anyone else I have missed. We had a light rain shower after we walked the dog but the rest of the day will be clear. I am organizing gifts this morning and will try to bake in the afternoon. The family all comes for dinner next Saturday and I need to bake some cookies especially for the grandchildren.
