Sleep well.

I will KOKO,tracking,moving and hydrating.
The wind is really blowing out there already. It's only dropped to 67 but they said it wouldn't be a drastic drop in temps.Calling for cold rain with feel like temps in the 30's throughout the day.It sounds like a good day to stay home.We did break a record for our high of 83 on 12/9 yesterday. The last time on that date it was over 81 was in the 1800's.No wonder head and knee have been hurting.Change in weather.
Continued prayers for June and Bee.

Ann, sorry youβll be housebound. The mani and pedi are always a treat. Becky, itβs amazing how the weather can change dramatically so quickly. I am sure you are feeling it in your joints. KOKO for me as it will be much like yesterday, the weather and my plans. I will do more gift wrapping and baking. My only errand is to pick up the club mail from the post office in central Fresno and mail a holiday gift box to DHβs cousins in North Dakota. Dinner is grilled Aidells chicken apple sausage with grilled tomatoes, green beans and small salads.

Checking in - will do what I can while my daughter is here BUT imagine there will be more food than wine than usual. I probably won't do as many personals or as in depth but will try to check in daily. She brought some great things for me! The road was fine (in spite of the worrying my husband did) and though I tripped over a suitcase the knee is fine except for a small scrape. It is wonderful having Rabia here till the 28th. I was up till 3am, though, so it will be a LONG day!

Hang in there. Audrey - Dinner sounds good! Enjoy your light day Cathy - Enjoy the time with your daughter. It will pass too quickly. Prayers to June and Bee Hi Ladonna, Pam and anyone I missed If it's Tuesday, it must be fish for dinner. Arctic char was on sale so that with some sides will be dinner and chili rellenos for breast. Good morning, Ann - Becky - Audrey - Cathy - Susi - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
βββββββββ
There are two YM events on the calendar this week - drill tomorrow (Weds 12/11) that is supposed to include the holiday party and Wreaths Across America on Saturday. And the weather for Wednesday is quite iffy, and may affect access to the school. Must review this with the commander and XO; mostly I don't want the mom to bake 60 cupcakes if we're not going to meet to use them (Wegmans has cookies...).
I'm still in recovery mode from the weekend. Today is intended to be another laid-back day as I try to catch up with all the stuff left undone around here during recruit training. The Kressling is supposed to be here this afternoon, and Toots has a Christmas concert at one of the other band members' churches tonight.
Early-morning coffee... βββ... and a bit of meditation...
βββββββββ Have a healthy-eating day, all! βββββββββ

Goooood morning So very glad to be here with you today. Thank you alll for thinking of us and keeping us in your sincere prayers. It helped!
Ann& Becky Those weather forecasts are something else!
Ann Am glad that you both have many pleasant distractions in your home and an at home exercise routine. Sure does help! So does the anticipation of a treat!
Becky Exactly! The PT evaluator always told mom that her body was like a barometer. Cranky body parts let her know all about big swings in weather.
Audrey Sounds like your day will be productive without being taxing and your dinner will be appetizing without being fattening. Cathy How wonderful that your daughter arrived safely and your travels were not stymied or derailed as your DH feared! Your outlook is realistic. Good to strike the best balance that you can regarding extended visits and healthy eating.
Susi Fish sounds perfect! We had super lean venison yesterday. Nature's bounty! Hope the kitties are getting acquainted.
Mj Hope that the weather does not put a monkey wrench into the YM ceremony. Your weekend sure was a whirlwind. Good for you for volunteering.

Tuesday's goals
Giving thanks. A hot bath. Increase vegetables.
Last week. . . let's just say that I was glad to have some "gas" in my tank, then fumes in my tank. But when the fumes ran out, that was that. After work each day, I had to switch gears & race through the rest of the afternoon & evening.
This week's to do list is as long & almost as complicated, yet it is more manageable because of "time." I am not working every day, then trying to get everything done after lunch but before offices close. I am grateful for that.
Scheduled a contractor for sump pump work next Friday. Praying that good things come of that.
Wishing everyone a healthy & happy day. Waving hi to LaDonna, Bee, & Pam. Hope that I did not miss anyone.

Good morning all. Crossing fingers toes arms and eyes that the rain stays away. Right nowe it's just very foggy and overcast. THAT I can deal with. We'll see what transpires as the days goes on. I did sleep well, so very grateful for that pleasure June it's wonderful to hear from you. You have so much on your plate right now. Happy that you are muddling through it all. Prayers continue (((hugs))) Good luck with the contractor and keep us posted. MJ hope you do get to enjoy a laid back day. I agree....why bake all those cupcakes. Supermarket treats work! Susi we are also in for more snow. Enjoy your meal and gym. Cathy fully enjoy your time with DD. Audrey your sausage meal sounds wonderful. Enjoy. Looks like we'll share the same type of day. Becky the change in weather also bothers me. Hopefully your weather will even out. Waving to all and wishing all a wonderful OP day. Will CBL

Audrey The weather does change quickly this time of year here. It's 41 with a light rain and wind. It's not raining hard but just enough to rain in our kitchen windows so I have been cleaning that up.Enjoy your wrapping and baking.I used to love to bake but we don't have enough propane to use for the oven as well.
Speaking of propane our tank we use for the kitchen range must have run out sometime between breakfast and dinner yesterday.Had already put the meat for chili beans(2 lbs) in the skillet and went to light the burner.Guess what no propane. So we dumped all the meat in the electric skillet and was able to save dinner anyway.I also scrambled eggs in the electric skillet this morning which isn't as convenient.DH is outside now seeing if the cattle messed something up or if we just need to go to town to fill up the propane tank.At least it wasn't the propane tank we use for gas heat.
Cathy Enjoy visit with your DD.
Susi Thanks.I'm hanging in there.I still have to see the regular therapist this week but I called yesterday and can use the one that's a better fit next week.Your menu always sounds so good.Enjoy your workout.
MJ I hope you do have a laid back for once today.
June It's always good to see you posting.Yes the cranky joints are a good weather predictor.I hope this week will turn out to be better for you.Continued prayers.

Becky hope you get the propane issue straightened out. Always something, isn't it? Smart move to heat it all up in the electric skillet.
It's drizzling on and off with a temperature of 54. Lots of melting going on. I may 'tag along' with Carl as he picks up whatever it is that he needs LOL...just to get out.
My day is planned and tracked.

Decided to stay put today. Showered and now ready to relax with my kindle. Carl went solo to run his errands. LuLa and I will settle in on the sectional and listen to Christmas music

Cathy, I am glad your daughter arrived and now you can enjoy a long visit with her. MJ, I agree with Ann about buying cupcakes. The kids just don't notice. June, so good to see you here and glad you have a bit more time this week. Becky, thank heavens for that electric skillet. Susi, enjoy the artic char tonight. Ann, sounds like staying put was the right idea especially with your kindle, LuLa and Christmas music.
