Good morning Ann and AWF!
I have a very busy day ahead! Need to jump in the shower very soon and get ready so I can get ready.
Had fun shopping with my step daughter Taylor yesterday. Went to a couple of stores and she got what she needed.
Off to the shower! Check back later!

Good morning again!
Was up at 5am this morning! Busy dreadful day today. Going to court with my brother Kris today. He has to go to court today because my 21 year old niece claimed he pushed her at his home a month ago. She lived with him off and on. Long story short. He and his them wife adopted her at the age of nearly 6. She was born without legs so my brother wanted to save her from a life of institutions. It was the second daughter they would adopt from Russia. She was a very troubled child from the start and grew into an even more troubled adolescent. At the age of 12 her adoptive mother abandoned them, just got up and left. She had never bonded with Kalia anyway. so my brother became dad & mom. Teen years were miserable with her spending more time in hospitals and institutions than out of them. 18, then came suicidal feelings and attempts and police and ambulances at his house 2 or 3 times a week. More hospitalizations. This has gone on until present. Last month she came home with a girl the met in a club. She is now 21. They were both drunk. One rule in the house was no sleepovers. He told Kalia her friend couldn't stay. Kalia got angry and refused to comply. He got closer to her and told her again her friend had to leave. Kalia retreated to her room and my brother went outside to have a smoke. Next thing he knows the police are there. She had called police and said that he had pushed her. My brother has never hurt a soul. Not to mention she would have certainly fallen if he had pushed her in the slightest way! She wasn't holding on to anything and her balance is terrible! Sooooo here we go! Off to court. Kalia has called her sister and said "I can't wait to go to court to watch Dad get taken down". She's a very spiteful little girl. So sad. And my brother loves her so much! He worries about her so much. It's just tragic.
Off until after that!

((((((((((Lissa))))))))))))) praying that all goes well at court today. So sad especially with all you already have on your plate. Know that you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers.
We are getting together with our neighbors tonight. They are the ones that we spent Thanksgiving with. I'll pick up a veggie platter and try to put 'blinders' on with the other snacks around LOL.
Wishing AWF a wonderful day. Will try to pop in later.
