Wow what kind of disturbance? I am in. Decided I will eat a 2 cup can of chili man chili daily. And fruit. I will eat half cup portions of chili 4 times a day. I tis good budget wise and point wise in green 17 points plus 1 point for daily vitamin.

Good morning, I'm in.
Weighed in yesterday morning and was down 5.5 pounds. I was very pleasantly surprised! I'll take it!
I started and finished my Christmas shopping this weekend. Most of it was online. Everything will be here in time thank goodness! All I need to pick up now is 2 gift cards.

DebDoesWW,- I love the picture. What handsome young men! I was off the grid for a little while, my niece and DB were here for the weekend. We had a great time: made Brownies, went make up shopping, played card games. Now I'm back to school and this is going to be a LONG week. Everyone is ready for the holiday break- especially the adults! Stay safe and warm everyone.

Good morning! Only have time for a quick check-in. My sleep is not back 100% yet from the travels but I did sleep a little longer this morning. I've got a long list of errands to do today and my mind is shocked that Christmas is quickly approaching. I'm almost finished shopping but I need to start wrapping presents to see what I have. The sun is out and the sky is blue. It was very chilly yesterday but we did enjoy the choir party last night with fun singing of Christmas carols. Too much rich food, but the reset button has been pushed and I’m moving forward smiling.

Good afternoon. I’m in.
Attended my WW meeting this morning. It was “share a recipe day;” they handed out a two-sided recipe card. Nobody remembered to bring a recipe and nobody seemed inspired so the topic pretty much fell flat on the floor moaining, “Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up.”
One of my friends talked about a turkey chili she made; it reminded me of a recipe of my grandmothers made from ground beef, canned peas with their liquid, tomato sauce, onion, garlic, salt and pepper; I made that for lunch…but I’ve taken to adding a can of beans to boost the protein. Served over rice (I used brown) it is a tast sensation. Hit the spot for lunch on this cold day.
I wonder how holiday shopping is going. I haven’t been to the mall because, well, there are no stores left that I’m interested in shopping at. Plus our mall has been under expansion construction for over a year. It was supposed to be finished before the Christmas shopping season started but they missed that target and are now saying Spring 2020. I did stop at Target today and was surprised how empty that store was. Maybe everybody shopped early—or did most of their shopping online.
I’m watching Home Alone right now.

Good afternoon.I'm in.
With the drop in barometric pressure and a 40 degree drop in temperature my right leg has really been hurting today.I went to PT this morning and the therapist said my right leg was so tight so while I did my stretches she worked on the tight tissues in my legs.I wish I could say now that the sun is out it feels better but this has not been a good day for ole Arthur.LOL.

Thanks doordie50. I'm a year or 2 at the most from needing a knee replacement.This is just to buy me some time so I didn't have to do it during the holidays.If they can get things loosened up it's possible I could make it another year. |
