I'm IN.
Today is "trying" in a couple of ways. One: it's raining, it's pouring (although fortunately it's not snowing). Two: I need to get bloodwork done for a 12/24 MD appt and will do a walk-in after MHMR (so breakfast is delayed considerably). Three: the whole day is already chock-full, right through to tonight (must remember to "just say NO" if anything else tries to weasel in).
So grateful for black coffee... ☕☕☕...
❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️ Have a healthy-eating day, all! ❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️

Good morning, diva49, Hope the bloodwork and all of the other scheduled activities don't get you down. Hopefully the rain will cooperate and stop! No rain here but a 40 degree drop in temps is a little jarring. It's 37 degrees here now and we're hoping to get to the upper 40s later today. Running errands this morning after my mall walk. I had a great check-up with my cardiologist yesterday which keeps me motivated to continue my daily walks. Taco Soup for dinner tonight! I'm IN.

linda72,- glad your Dr. appointment went well diva49, "Just say NO". You are an amazing woman and your family is so blessed to have you. It's pouring here and is 33 degrees so it's on the hairy edge of turning into snow/ice. Luckily the roads were OK. Not much going on here. Need to put the house back in order after my niece's visit and wrap presents I crocheted a pair of slippers to go with the rainbow Unicorn PJ's we have for Christmas. They were actually easy. Making myself a pair. Also made some headbands/ear warmers. Next I'm going to try a hat. So I'm finally past just wash clothes and straight scarves! I think I'm going to work up a bunch of socks and hats (if they come out OK) and donate them to the local homeless shelter. They are easy to do, and work up fast. They aren't perfect, but I think they will provide warmth and comfort to those that need it.

hpeterson1951 , how nice of you to make the socks and hats for the homeless shelter. I'm sure the people there will love them! Good morning. Pure ice out there coating everything. Cold and nasty and the temps are such that it should have been snow but nope---it's all ice at this point. Schools are closed and many local businesses announced yesterday that they would also be closed out of concern for the safety of their employees. DH took the dogs out this morning and spread some sand around but we won't be going anywhere today. We'll finish up the indoor decorating while doing laundry and I'll also get around to writing out those Christmas cards and sending gift cards to the grandkids in California. Wishing all a pleasant day!

Morning all!
I'm in, though seriously feeling tempted by those holiday favorites. One foot in front of the other as they say *sigh*
The pines around here look like drooping beach umbrellas with just the thinnest coat of ice but, everything else is just wet. I'm getting the last of my holiday to-dos finished and jamming in a few year end appointments lol. Tonight, breakfast for dinner.
Have a good day everyone!

I haven’t been in. 😒. I can’t seem to get my mojo back. My husband says I’m going through postpartum- not from a baby - but from finishing my nursing program. I graduated last week and I can’t get over that I won’t be there 5 days a week. I’m wandering lost he says. I agree. I started an online class today and will taking online classes this spring, but I do feel lost not being on campus. So of course with the slight depression, I’m eating out of my range. Got to get busy with other things - I’ll get it back.
