Good morning.
This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
Feel free to jump in and join us. All are welcome here.
Our motto is persistence, not perfection

Good morning.
I made it to the gym again this morning. Did 30 minutes on the treadmill again and really pushed myself for the last 5 minutes with some slow jogging/brisk walking intervals. Right now I am trying lay a solid foundation of GOING to the gym. I think I will go again tomorrow and then take Saturday off since we have so much going on Saturday. I also hope by going tomorrow morning it will set a foundation for Friday's parties and get togethers.
Got to work this morning and got some news that I knew was probably coming but I don't like it. They are realigning our areas and my area will going to a different director. I am not happy with it because I have built some strong working relationships in the region we are currently aligned with I also found out another one of the ladies in the same position as me was promoted to a different position. I really want to do something else but have so few opportunities because of where I am located and I am not willing to move. I am definitely staying with this company until the end of my career, but if I could in a position where I was not managing 10 budgets that would be awesome.
Waving to everyone! I hope you all have a great Thursday.

Good morning Jana and all ROs to follow. Good for you for getting to the gym!!! It so helps to have a routine plus, like you, I like to get it done with early in the morning, although on non-trainer days I go with my neighbor and having someone else to go with really helps. Sorry about the ongoing stuff with your DF. Hopefully the job thing will work out ok and you'll develop new relationships and have new opportunities with the change. I hope they appreciate how committed you are to staying with the company - in my line of work it seems people move every year or two. Even middle managers don't plan to stay with one organization for the long term.
It is frigid here today, 14 degrees, and of course I have to go into the city for meetings. Am having lunch with XDH at Grand Central and then have a meeting from 3-5, and will run for the 5:30 train since it's a super express and my stop is the first stop. I'm bringing my Kindle with me, have downloaded some new books for my trip so will get a start on at least one of them today. Just waiting on the platform for the train is going to be a challenge.
Oops gotta go, have a conference call in 2 minutes. Have a great day all.

Hello All...got up and off to the gym this morning - then to Bible Study, and next to take DGD to gymnastics (so cute at 4 1/2)! May go to a pot luck tonight, but not sure yet. I am going to pick up DGS at about 5:00 for an hour or so since DS, DDIL, and DGS will be out of state for the weekend (and I am used to seeing them over the weekend).
Jana - Yippee for getting to the gym, but oh my sorry about the job stuff.
Andi - Yeah, I agree...people used to stay with the same company for life...not so anymore. Have a nice lunch with XDH...try to stay WARM on that platform.
Back to my usual ... busy day
