Down 1.2 pounds from last week. Am going to the doctor tomorrow to see about my possible high thyroid.

bbbearsmom , I have had to take thyroid meds for a few years now, but mine are for low, not high. I do feel better since going on the medication. I did my Christmas cookie baking yesterday. I had my usual healthy breakfast and then the rest of the day consisted of cookies, leftover pizza and champagne. Totally worth it! We had a couple of young friends over to help get rid of the extra cookies and split the champagne. DH will be delivering the rest of the cookies to family today and then taking some to work tomorrow. I have two left that we can have with coffee tomorrow. Sunday, December 22: 124.2 - up 0.4 lb.

Lani every once in awhile it's good to splurge. Today we are indulging in homemade meat sauce, Carl's hot Italian sausage my meatballs and garlic bread. The scale will NOT be happy tomorrow, even watching portions.  |

We gave cookies to Mr. Lani's sister, but then she dropped off her own homemade cookies. Can't dodge the cookies!

lani, we also went and gave treats to a few of our favorites in our retirement community. So wonderful to see their faces 'light up'. I agree...there is NO dodging cookies LOL......

May your Christmas be just as you would like it. Tuesday, December 24: 124.2 - down 0.4 lb. DH took the rest of my cookies to work yesterday and they were a big hit. He works at a cannabis testing facility and he thinks a couple of the warehouse guys may have been toking up for an early holiday celebration, so they really appreciated the treats.  It's legal here, medical and recreational. |

Got my thyroid test results back and they are just fine. Guess I'm really losing weight. It just seems surprising after my long run of gaining over the last year or two. Guess I'll have to eat more if I keep losing.
