Guess I'll have to eat more if I keep losing. This is a problem I want! My plan got derailed yesterday when Mr. Lani brought home two huge slices of pecan pie. Our local independent coffee shop has started carrying pastries - I foresee a lot of resistance muscle exercise for Mr. Lani in the future. He also wanted a glass of wine since it was Christmas Eve and he has tomorrow off work (and only tomorrow). In past jobs there was at least one or two weeks off during the holidays. I cut one slice of pie in half and we had one glass of wine each. So could have been worse. Christmas Day: 124.6 - up 0.4 lb. Plus I had some coffee before I remembered to weigh myself, so it could have been less!

lani, I understand his temptation. You did a good job splitting the piece fo pie.

164.8 up 2 from last posting.
I was too embarrassed to post on Sunday but I guess I should have. Maybe putting it out there would have helped.

luvvinlife , good job on posting. I find posting takes the shame and secrecy out of the tale of the scale and puts things in perspective. Thursday, December 26: 124.6 - no change

lani, good job portioning! We got a pie for the holidays - Cherry Apple crumble, they're delicious! But as soon as it got home, I portioned it into slices and froze them. It'll see us through Xmas dinner, NYE dinner, and a couple of dinners during the winter. I also did the same with Xmas dinner last night - Last year I began making my stuffing in muffin tins. I freeze all the leftovers into two muffins per baggie and we have them for random dinners throughout the winter. Did the same last night with a fabulous Ina Garten "Spinach Grain". We'll get at least four dinners throughout winter with those leftovers! luvvinlife, it's best to put it out there and that way it's not a secret you're hiding from, or hiding from others. We've all been there! I was up 3 last week since just before Thanksgiving...you're not alone! But you're acknowledging it and that's a huge NSV! Good for you!

Mr Lani brought home ANOTHER slice of pie from the coffee shop. He thought it would be OK since it was my weekly treat day. I had to explain that all my calories were already accounted for in my plan. Nonetheless, I ate the half slice. Onward and upward. He promised to stop bringing the sweets.
Friday, December 27: 125 - up 0.4 lb.
