LaDonna nothing worse than visiting a cemetery in the rain. (((hugs))) I'm sure Jayleigh is looking forward to your visit on Christmas afternoon. Hi Pam I can see your smile as you aim for blue. We went to Walmart and luckily it wasn't a zoo. As we were leaving, a boatload of people were coming in. We really lucked out.

Audrey Your approach is sensible. That, in itself, is healthy. Hope that the brunch was festive. Nice to be onthe receiving end of some cooked turkey breast-- easy & tasty.
Ann Loving that your Xmas visits & treats brightened up your neighbors' day. (You do that here-- minus the food!) BRrrrrr.... 15 degrees is very brisk! I bet that pit some pep into your step. Hope you were bundled up warm. Ha ha ha. . . Too cute! I do not think I have ever said or though Merry Christmas Eve Eve. Sometimes the connection even surprises me.
Bee Yep. . . This is one of those weeks in which FOOD is all around. I am trying to do a little side shuffle here & there to dodge a bit. (THink "Bets Little Whorehouse inTexas song & dance number).
Becky Sending you hugs & prayers. I Did you have to cancel PT in order to get to the stores? It IS crazy this time of the year.
Cathy Your DD sounds very motivated to tackle some purging & cleaning. That's a win-win. More movement. More accomplishments. Am so happy that you have this time with her.
Mj Am smiling thinking of you sitting in the sun and relaxing w/ your eyes closed. Code for multitasking... in a different way. We have warm temperature s here, too! It's a gift in my book.
Sounds like DS is feeling better. Good! Have fun w/ those Cinderella chores.

Susi Hope that your payroll went smoothly! Have always found that people enjoy homemade freezer meals like pot pies. It's a perfect gift and is much appreciated. Loved, loved, loved the great picture of love & Misnight.
LaDonna Sorry that you had to battle the nasty, cold rain. That is so not SC! I hate to say this, but I asked my sister,Karen, to do grandma's & Joan's graves this year. How nice that you get to see Jayleigh on Xmas. Yep, perfectly ok to put off some chores to later in your break.
Pam We will keep smiling w/ you as we also tackle those holiday and everyday chores. Blue skies, nothing but blue skies do I see....

LaDonna I hope you enjoyed your day despite the rain.I wish our church had a Christmas Eve service. That's one thing I miss with this church.I did end up cancelling my appointment this morning. We were low on propane for our gas heater and I'm glad I cancelled because HEB was so busy I wouldn't have gotten through buying groceries in time for my appointment anyway.I have been using my heating pad, doing my stretches and exercises and I will go back Friday.
Cathy Enjoy the rest of your daughters visit. It sounds like it's been a productive time for both of you.
MJ 50 will probably feel like a heat wave to you.I hope you found another sunbeam.
Ann I thought we were cold at 28 degrees. You were really cold.We did warm up nicely. We ended up having too much to do for PT today.I will go back on Friday.
Susi I hope getting the payroll out won't be too stressful.Chicken Pot Pie sounds good.
June I like that.Happy Christmas Eve eve to you also.Good goals.

LaDonna Kenneth would love those mustard greens but not the turkey breast.Enjoy your visit with Jayleigh.
Ann That was nice of you to drop off goodies and see people's faces light up.Good way to get them out of the house too.You were lucky Walmart wasn't a zoo.We went to our local Walmart Saturday and it was already a zoo.HEB was the same way today with all the kids out of school.
June Yes I did have to cancel PT not only because of grocery shopping but we also needed propane for the gas heater. We have an electric heater in the living room but with 2 mornings with a low under 30 we didn't want to run out.Now we are getting a warmup. It seems to be the way in TX.Thanks for the hugs and prayers.I made it through yesterday okay.Tomorrow will be the anniversary of my dad's funeral but I got past the worst part so I will be fine.

Pam, tis the season for errand running. yes, lets try and keep smiling:)
Ann, thanks. My mom and Uncle have been doing the flowers the past several years. I've offered but they say they've got it. This year Uncle has not been well and when I asked Mom about it she had not had a chance to do it and seemed relieved when I said I'd take care of it. I was happy to do it. At least I had Randy holding the umbrella for me.
June, (((HUGS))) You've had so much going on, perfectly understandable for you to get some assistance. The rain should move out in the morning hopefully.
Becky, you did have a lot of chores to see to. Good that you're doing your PT at home. Glad you got some heat in case you need it. (((HUGS))) We buried Randy's father in 1998 on Dec. 23. Will be thinking of you.
Ann, I also like the hot water to run over my shoulder.
Have a wonderful, peaceful night all
