Friday we are going to BJ'S as I want to pick out new eyeglass frames. I have my new Rx. They are running a special buy one complete pair and get one free restrictions apply. Not sure if I will get that deal or not as my script is complicated but I shall try. They are very good there professional and helpful. While there we'll also pick up what we need. I have a few coupons as well.
I plan on hydrating tracking planning and moving.
Sleep well.

\ Ann, these are similar to Laken's new glasses. hers has more white than the dark color. I have my ortho appt in the morning. Randy will tag along and we will most likely eat lunch out somewhere. I have an online order ready for grocery pick up. Thursday was a great OP day with a walk . I plan to repeat that on Fri.

Ann, I hope you get frames you love. Iβll join you moving, tracking and hydrating. I had over 12,000 steps yesterday mostly from walking the dog three times.
Iβm getting my hair trimmed this morning. My bangs are falling in my eyes. I will take the ornaments off the tree. Yesterday I moved decorations from other rooms to the dining room table. I also have to change dishes and table linens. Weβre going to the seafood restaurant for dinner. Happy Friday everyone

Audrey I started putting away some decorations today. The tree will stay put until the feast of the Epiphany 1/6. Old habits die hard. Enjoy your day.

My daughter leaves tomorrow morning early. The weather was, thankfully, nice for much of her visit but the last few days until she leaves are stormy and the winter storm's name is Lulu/LouLou. 8 meter waves have been breaking in places with roads flooded and a cemetery destroyed in Beirut. Ah well...today we will set up the fixed desktop computer and I will return to working on it instead of the little laptop and the one that has been my only computer for a year will probably become my reading device. Anyway, weight is about the same as when my daughter arrived 17 days ago so am feeling fairly good about holding steady and will get back on track when she leaves.
ANN: Hope you got two nice new frames for the price of one. My daughter has some lovely new frames for her sunglasses and regular glasses. You were smart to wait till AFTER Christmas to buy your robe at half price. I wonder if any families opt to celebrate January 6th instead of the 25th of December to take advantage of the post-Christmas sales? Hooray for the maintain at weigh-in and perhaps take a seat cushion to sit on since the chairs are cold and metal?
LADONNA: Hope the ortho appointment and meal out with Randy make for a wonderful day. Rain is expected for the foreseeable future. I just hope some sunshine breaks through once in awhile.
AUDREY: You must take the dog on LONG walks to get in over 10000 steps in one day! Hope the doctor's appointment well well.
BECKY: Hope your morning appointment goes well. How nice to hear that you enjoyed a longer walk than usual on the country roads AND did not experience pain while doing so.
MJ: Hope you are enjoying the holidays!
SUSI: Glad you had a fun time with your family but sorry about it being bittersweet. I hope Cheryl will recuperate quickly.
BEE: Hope you are enjoying your time with Cissy.
PAM: Glad you are still doing well tracking and staying focused.
JUNE: You made me smile...your goal of getting dressed made me realize that if there is nothing to do outside the house I often just stay in pajamas all day Hope you are able to whittle down your to-do list!

Good morning, Ann - LaDonna - Audrey - Becky - Cathy - Bee - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer... and for Son#1, who is some better but still not 100% (and after seeing a 34-yr-old sportscaster in good shape die from pneumonia this week, I[m glad that Son#1 actually treated his)...
CAUTION: blabberpost to follow...
NOTE: the avatar is of the personalized Christmas ornaments I made for the DGChildren this year.

DivaTaxi's on schedule for this morning. No MHMR (DSonIL is WFH). LA-F at 9:35 AM. We will check in on DaBoyz.
My last long post was on Christmas Eve. To reprise my sentiments: "So we're looking forward to a relaxed day. What is done, is done. What isn't, can be done without. Sharing loving time together without the angst of 'seasonal societal expectations' is our plan."
Yup. Posted that in the early-morning hours. By 8:07 AM, "relaxed" had been trampled by little reindeer hooves. MissMouse and MousekeTWO had been sick all night, and she was supposed to host KressMess Eve. So she reached out to her brothers. Son#1 offered his house instead (but he wouldn't get home from work until after 1 PM to prep). Son#2 made a list of things to bring (folding chairs, table, party supplies). And Grandma & Peepa shifted from relaxed attendees to party coordinators / cleaning crew / catering staff. Not what we expected. And we certainly had to ditch any lingering "seasonal societal expectations" in favor of (as Son#1 put it in one of the texts in that string) "It's a rush job. Just get in and get <ahem> done." But our boys certainly stepped up and worked together to make KressMess Eve happen. We are so proud of them.
While MissMouse & MousekeTWO only stopped in for a little while (no more "sick" but definitely "tired") and DSonIL took them home early to go to bed, the Mouseketeer was able to stay until the party ended at 10:30 PM. And DDIL, who got home from work at 8 PM, was able to have a plate of food and sit and hang out too (and inherited some lovely leftovers).
Best KressMess Eve ever. EV-ER.
NOTE: We found out that this really, REALLY nasty germ made its way through the extended Wagner household, probably acquired at one of two big Wagner parties the previous weekend. Both GrandWags were also very ill and cancelled THEIR Christmas Day gathering.
Christmas Day was blissfully quiet. Toots & I watched a couple of those classic movies playing non-stop and had our planned dinner (using some leftovers - as planned - and saving other leftovers for today).
Yesterday, despite the dire media warnings about heavy travel traffic, Toots & I headed to Longwood Gardens to see their Christmas displays. We got there early and had a wonderful time before the admission lines started backing up. And we only hit a bit of traffic northbound on the way home.
Just got a text from Son#1; he's taking PTO... so I can sip coffee... βββ... enjoy the lights on the tree... and ease into the day...
β¨πβ¨πβ¨πβ¨πβ¨ Have a healthy-eating day, all! β¨πβ¨πβ¨πβ¨πβ¨

Good morning all. MJ so happy that your family stepped up and did what needed to be done. Plans have a way of getting totally 'messed up'. However at least you had a happy ending Happy easing into today! Bee great job on that scale moving downward. Good luck at the eye doc and keep us posted. Cathy (((hugs))) You will surely miss DD when she leaves. Awesome job keeping your weight steady while she was with you. Yes the chairs are metal! Cold as ice I might add LOL. Looking forward to going to BJ's. Will pop in later. Wishing all a great OP day

Goooooood morning
Ann Kudos for being accountable on the scale.! Hooray for super bargains. Love replacing necessities like robes & glasses for 1/2 price. Fingers crossed that the eyewear promotion is as promised.
Audrey Impressive number of steps for yesterday. Dogwalking is a win win-- fresh air, companionship, exercise for all. Yep. . . That sure does sound like a DH... This has crossed my mind a few times lately-- I need a wife who can take care of things.
Becky Splendid news that you could tramp down your country road without pain. That is a hard part of PT. You cannot know how much to push yourself in a day when you are feeling better.
Have a good therapy session today!
Bee Wonderful that Cissy's visit has been pleasant. Sending you many, many good wishes and prayers. Thank goodness for specialists like yours who study and routinely "do" medical procedures which we never knew existed.
Cathy Yipeeee... congrats for holding your weight during your DD's visit. Beruit has certainly been hard hit of late. Sending you hugs as you & your daughter near the end of her extended visit.
LaDonna Wishing you all the best as you find out what the MRI reveals. Glad that Randy is going w/ you since it is easy to be overwhelmed by medical terms & news.

June good to see you. Hope all is well with you R and DM. Yes, bargains DO rule...especially when both parties are retired LOL. Time for me to sit and plan my day. More than likely stop at Subway for lunch. That's my 'to go to' place when on the road. I'll also take a few snacks along just because....
