Good morning.
This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
Feel free to jump in and join us. All are welcome here.
Our motto is persistence, not perfection.

Good morning all.
My schedule is all out of whack with having 2 days off in the middle of the week. I was thinking this morning was my 8 a.m. morning at work but it is really my 7 a.m. work schedule. I am going to figure out a gym plan and goal and get to it.
I did something to my ankle last Friday night when we were out with friends. It is still a little tender and achy. I haven't been to the gym since I did it. I am going to give it over the weekend to rest (well I will be doing the final moving from my parent's apartment but no gym time) and get back to it next week.
Lora so glad your membership had not lapsed. I would love an accountability partner! How is DH's tooth issue? Glad to hear your shoulder is feeling better.
Susie do you have any plans for your time while all the kids are out of town? How is your DH doing?
RobinMD your DB's farm sounds really nice. I think I would like that sort of place a lot. I hope your cold clears up soon. There are so many people around here with either a nasty stomach thing or terrible colds.
Work is quiet this week. A lot of people on vacation. I need to use the time to do some 2020 prep but I have mostly been just kind of taking it easy.
Waving to all.

Good Morning Jana and ATF...wow, I slept really well. I don't think I moved until 7:25 this morning...then I was up and over to ODD's to walk the dog with her. Now I am heading to the clubhouse gym and then I have to go to COSTCO. Nothing really planned for the rest of the day so I may go see a movie.
Jana - hope the ankle is OK...man, your ankle, Lora's shoulder, Robin's back...we are a mess...at least these things sound minor and you are doing all of the right things to heal.
Robin - I agree - your DB's place sounds lovely - like a step back in time...I bet it was really fun. Glad you had a nice day.

Good morning friends (well, it's still morning here for a few more minutes...Haha).
I thinking this morning that I hope Andi is having a lovely Grand Cayman vacation. We usually hear from her while she's down there, so hope all is tropical, fresh and lovely for her there.
I don't think I'm actually going to make the gym today. Apparently I spoke too soon on the shoulder thing. I woke up to it being quite achy this morning, so I'm resting the joint again today. Oh! You know what? I just realized that I might have annoyed it yesterday. I gave myself a hair trim and took about 3 inches off. I'm thinking maybe having my arms over my head during that time may have been what irritated the joint again. Sigh.
Mark has services this afternoon for his friend that passed Sunday night. That might be what's working on my mood. He's been kind of "off" the last couple of days. His friend was just a few months older than Mark, and I think his passing has Mark thinking about his own mortality.
Well, I have a load of towels that need to be folded and put away. I also need to do some work on a grocery list. I might actually be able to wait until the first of the week to hit the store, but in the mean time I can be building the list whenever I think of something. It's better than trying to remember it all right before I head out. That never works out well for me. Haha.

DH found a place that would change his oil while he sat in the car. It was nice that he didn't have to get out, get the wheelchair out, etc...anyway, he dropped me at COSTCO and took care of the oil change, then returned and we finished up at COSTCO and got home around 1:30 - 2:00. I am going to relax and finish my book, and I hope doze for a few....then we are going to go up to the clubhouse social time for awhile.
Lora - oh, I bet you are right about the arms over your head trimming your hair. I was thinking about Andi too...so funny that my DDs are going skiing next week and Andi is in the tropics trying to get away from all that cold weather - Ha. I vote for "fun in the sun!" I'm thinking about Mark and how the loss of his DF has hit him. A loss is bad any time, but this time of year is even worse.
Waving to everyone....

Susie - that's awesome for DH. The place in ATL where I used to take my car was one of those places where you can stay in the car while they change your oil. I always enjoyed just sitting and reading my kindle or catching up on email on my phone without having to drag all of my stuff out of the car and into the little waiting room. I'm sure that makes a huge difference for your DH.
My shoulder is still hurting. Not terrible, but enough that I'm definitely limiting activity. So far today....folded and put away towels, rinsed a few dishes and got the dishwasher going, took a shower, and that's about it. Sigh...this whole shoulder thing is turning me into a real slug.

Happy Friday,
I am just dropping by...I need to get ready for work tomorrow. I am doing tea, soup, jello, crackers, and a fresh sliced apple. I really would love to stay home sick, but even if I'm busy, it is only until 4p so there is only so much of a beating I can take! My back feels pretty good, but my cold is in full swing. I keep focusing on the fact that I am off Sunday, work Monday, off Tuesday and Wednesday and work Thursday and Friday. And I am off next weekend. It has been SO busy at the office and I am beat, so I will be heading to bed soon.
Lora, I bet it WAS having your arms up! Darn it...I sure hope you can get that settled down quickly. I sure am sorry for what Mark is having to deal with, and especially at this time of year.
Jana, my schedule has been out of sorts, too! I kept thinking Tuesday was Saturday, then Thursday felt like Wednesday... days off in the middle of the week sure do mess with you, but I am enjoying it anyway!
Susie, I have a place nearby that changes your oil (and various other services) while you sit in the car. It really is handy, and great for your DH! Glad you got such a good night's sleep. That's what I'm hoping for tonight! HA! I hope everyone has a good day tomorrow. I might be back since I'm not working late. Wish me luck! Take care everyone, I'm waving to all,
RobinMD
