No organized exercise...expecting to begin in 2020. Daughter left this morning at 8 so I was up at 3 to make sure she was thre on time. I see a walk upstairs and a nap in the near future!

I am No Choice with my daily body-weight stretching and strengthening exercises. Other than that I only had one day of cardio, yesterday. I was not winded and could do it without too much extra effort. I use a mini-trampoline. The thing I noticed was I had to be more careful of my balance than in the past. The mini-tramp is a great one for stimulating the balance reflexes, so that's another reason I want to keep up with it.
I lifted heavy weights one day only also.

Like lani, my exercise is also No Choice, though I let it slide a wee bit during the pre-Xmas dashing around. I'm firmly back on that horse and am going to the gym shortly so I can be sure to get in some cardio today. I've been going for PT and have stretching exercises for my neck issues so that's a good way to get back into stretching too, as I can see how important it is for the longevity of flexibility, which I've never had much of! lani, can you please share your stretching routine so I can see what it is you do daily? I need a stretching routine in my life now, thanks!

surfgirl , I started typing out my routine, but it just got too freaking complicated and went on and on. I highly recommend Miranda Esmond-White's Classical Stretch from which I got the majority of my stretches. She is on PBS at 7:30 AM each weekday morning, but I don't know what the schedule is for the rest of the country. I purchased a few of her DVDs and recorded many of her workouts on DVR. Basically I warm up and work from the perimiter of the body starting with the fingers and toes and continue on to the larger muscle groups. If you really want me to go into it all I can, but I had not even finished typing what I do in bed before I get up and I had run into five looong paragraphs. Plus it seemed like it would be really hard to follow just from a written description.

I'll look her up and see if she's on in my part of the country on PBS, if not I'll check her out online, thank you lani!

I also did a quick look at YouTube stretches, but I was not impressed by them. If you try any, be sure to do a warm up before you start stretching. Don't want to stretch muscles before the blood is circulating and you are somewhat loose already.

surfgirl, lani, If you search on "classical stretch" you get hits for their videos. They are also under Essentrics.
