We are in for the wintry mix. Should that happen I'll spend another low key relaxing day at home. I shall do extra hydrating, planning tracking and house walk as I read my kindle.

I have a reassessment appointment for PT.If I'm still coughing I may cancel it.We need to go grocery shopping, pay property taxes and go to the bank.I will track, move(in the house)and hydrate.
Ann I totally understand not wanting to focus any more time on your BC and I understand PT will only prolong that.I hope you can find something to help you with the pain..

Ann, is the pain weather related because it has been so cold? What are you reading now? Becky, it will be interesting to know the results of your PT assessment. How many times have you gone? I plan to be home all day. I hope my cold will be gone soon. I will eat all meals at home with salmon, a vegetable and salad for dinner. It will balance the appetizers and other things I ate last night.

Figured I better get something done so I got all the indoor decorations boxed up and put away as well as the tree decorations. The bare tree is still up - Randy can get that taken down and put away in the morning. Once again I went a few points over today but not by much. I did get an early morning walk before church. Monday will be KOKO and I hope to get some cabinets cleaned out. Need to also take my front porch decorations down and put away.
Ann, I'd love a little wintry mix. I've been hot today. Its been in the low 70s here. I do believe it's supposed to cool a little over the next few days.
Audrey, I started a book last night but its not grabbing me yet even though the reviews are great. I'm only about 30 pages in so I'm going to hang in a little while longer. "The Secret Keeper" by Kate Morgan
Becky, hope your cough gets better so you can do your assessment and errands. take care.

I am in! I had an OP day yesterday and am down on the scale this morning. It feels good to be back to "normal" after the three week splurge while my daughter was here. I am downstairs on the desktop computer after being unable to use it for a year. It is light and bright and comfortable down here AND the exercise equipment is here so no excuse not to use it. I have set the alarm/timer to ring every 45 minutes and will get up and exercise for five minutes every time it goes off. I am also gearing up for Veganuary and am looking forward to it. I have a book review to write and feedback to give to an author that asked me to Beta read his book.
I will:
* journal on paper and MFP * hydrate * record every BLT * be aware
ANN: I hope you enjoyed your day reading. Do you listen to music when you walk inside? Sorry you experience pain from time to time
BECKY: Hope you get rid of the cough and get the errands done. Let us know how the PT assessment goes.
AUDREY: Your meals sound healthy and tasty. I hope your cough disappears soon.
LADONNA: I saw The Secret Keeper as a possible book to read and review...actually saw two books in the same month with the same title. I did not think it sounded like something I would enjoy so didn't request it. Let us know what you think if you persevere.
SUSI: It sounds like you have a good plan for the next couple of days both with food and with friends. Enjoy!
MJ: I loved the image of your husband enjoying sunshine through the windows indicating a sleep-in morning. I loved the way you spent the time while your grandson was at soccer practice. Hope the menu planning and grocery list came together easily.
BEE: Glad the eye drops are helping!
JUNE: You hit it on the head with your summary for me. I will think of my daughter every time I walk into the clean laundry room and eventually spend time on the reclaimed back patio. I will also think of her as I open the bottles of wine she is sending as a wine club member and as I send her notes on each bottle as I taste test it.
CHINESE FOOD: Have not found a restaurant here that I like...or one that is close enough to frequent. We are eating at home and cutting expenses as much as possible since banks are now limiting withdrawals radically. I see a lot of whole grain (cheap) produce (cheap) filled meals in my future

Ann May be a good time of the year for a big pot of all vegetable soup. Completely understand. No sense in driving on icy and/or snowy roads if not necessary. Is Carl still on Grand Jury duty? Hope that you can be warm ,comfortable, and OP at home.
Audrey & Becky Hope that you both feel when you awaken today. Where I live, some nasty upper respiratory bug. Is circulating. Hoping that we can dodge it, especially R!
Audrey Nice to have complete control over what you eat and drink after so many social & family gatherings during the holidays.
Becky Can understand why you may not want to put yourself through the evaluation session. Those can be stressful even when you are feeling healthy.
LaDonna Kudos for getting in a morning walk! Just sets the tone for the day! Plus it counteracts those few "extra points" that sneak into day during the holidays. Let us know whether or not you like that book.
If anyone wants a light-hearted read, then I could suggest the Moonlight Harbor, feel-good books by Shelia Roberts. The main female character is rebuilding her life in a smal NW Pacific town, Moonlight Harbor. The author relies on midlife challenges, light "romance," strong female relationships, small-town friendships, and a charming setting. These books would probably be classified as "beach reads."
Cathy Love hearing and feeling the enthusiasm stepping right back into your "normal." Great that you have a clean patio and a viable PC. So much easier to accomplish those bigger, organizational tasks when you have a motivated partner in crime with a short deadline. Good thing that you know how to make the vital adjustments needed during the unpheaval.
Random thought Ha ha ha. . . I think it was Bee who shared that she reads the end of the book to see if she wants to continue.

<waving>... today has A List, with many of our typical tasks on it plus <fingers & toes crossed> a trip with FourBoyz to the trampoline park.
I find, after the last week of Not Much, that today looks a bit daunting although it's certainly "no worse" than it's ever been before.
Must have coffee... βββ... and breakfast...

Good morning all. Slept well even with all the naps I took. Right now it's pouring out. Great day to stay put MJ enjoy your coffee and trip to the park. Great goals, June. I do have to make veggie soup....but I have enough left for a few days Yes Carl is still on grand jury duty. They also added a murder case to the mix and told the 'chosen' that they have no idea how many times they have to 'show up' for that! That book sounds like one I've read. I shall look into it further. At one time I was keeping a list of them but I no longer do that LOL.
Cathy you are all set up for success Great goals. It depends on the mood I'm in and what type of book I'm reading. If I do put music on, it's instrumental. If not I'll end up 'singing to it' and forget what I'm reading LOL. LaDonna great job on getting some of the Christmas stuff put away. I am slowly doing that. Our tree stays up till 1/6. Wish I could send you some of the wintry mix. Right now it's just raining out. Audrey not sure if the pain is weather related. Hard to say. When I go out, I do add another sweater to the mix just in case.....Right now I'm reading a freebie from amazon by Carol Brown. The name of it is The Family Journal. I nice read. Enjoy your at home meals. Praying your cold leaves you...sooner the better Becky understandable why you would cancel your PT appointment. I wouldn't go either if I were coughing. Hope you wake up feeling better. Waving and will CBL.

Ann - Perhaps your surgeon may have some other suggestions. Becky - Hope your reassessment goes well and that you feel better. Feel better Audrey. Good way to balance things out. Sounds like you got a lot accomplished LaDonna Excellent plan Cathy. It's sometimes tough to get back to normal after a long break. At least you have your cleared out spaces to enjoy. Scary about the money situation. Good plan June. If I am struggling with a book at the beginning, I take a little peak at the end to see if I think it's worth continuing. It's always tough on you when the parents are working and the grands are off. Hopefully the trampoline park will burn off some energy. It's yucky here. It was a miserable walk to feed the ferals but at least I was moving. Hope it's decent enough to walk at lunch. I plan in visiting Cheryl after work if she is up to it. She can't fit any pants over her leg yet so she may be too embarrassed to see me as she is extremely private like that. I'll see if I can bring her a skirt or robe of some sort to make her more comfortable. Otherwise it's a KOKO day. LO gyro meat with chopped salad, hummus, yogurt sauce and a pita for lunch. I'm expecting a tough day at work since we are closed tomorrow and Wednesday. Payroll must be sent by 4 p.m. Love, hugs and prayers to you all.

Susi we are having the same yuck weather. Carl just took LuLa to do her business and put the trash out. He said it's slick in places. With that....I shall stay put today unless it decides to melt LOL. Good luck with your work day and hope the payroll goes smoothly for you.
Bee yes... a happy New Year's Eve eve to you as well LOL.
My pasta fest yesterday added .9 but worth every oz. Time for coffee...I need to wake up!

Finally I'm awake LOL. I shot my surgeon an emails and will wait for him to get back to me. I think he's on vacation if I remember correctly. I did a little housework and now it's time to hit the sectional with kindle in hand It's snowing here...on and off with the wintry mix and all. I have no intentions of dealing with it. Tomorrow is another day

Sunshine with blue sky and snow beginning to melt a bit. Continue to stay in as I KOKO. I want to get out tomorrow morning to my studio. One of my favorite coaches at Curves is moving on, so we are taking her to lunch tomorrow. It will be a fun time. Iβll check out the menu this afternoon. They chose to go to Bonefish Grill. Iβm glad I can WI before lunch.
Have a great day everyone.

The Robitussin seems to be controlling my cough so I am going to see Little Women this afternoon at a theater that is never very busy. If I cough too much, I'll just leave. It was dreary all morning but I did walk Lily Belle at 10:30. Now the sun is out at 1:15. Pam, sounds like you will have a good busy day tomorrow.
