Thinking Mistake #8: Justification
You link two unrelated concepts (to justify your eating).
"I deserve to eat this because I'm so stressed out."
"It's okay to eat this because it's free."
How do you handle this?

I'm doing so well I can overeat and get away with it. It's okay for me to have some sweets because I hardly ever have them. If I catch the thoughts I can talk back to them.

It is okay for me to have (whatever) even though high in points/alcohol/sugar because I have saved the points for it even if the day will not end up being healthy
health and points are not really related
