Winter can be a difficult time to motivate yourself to exercise when perhaps all you want to do is hibernate on your sofa till Spring. So let's join together and encourage and cheer each other on with our fitness goals! Warm weather will be here before we know it and we want to be in shape to enjoy it!
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycling, spinning, swimming, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday thru Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here!
This challenge runs from January 1 to March 20.

Hello. Hardly morning but its the almost before 3am. I get nutrisystem today. I start Sunday because this week Friday and Saturday are my weekend s off because there are only 20 day in a month. I ate 2 big bags of Cheetos so I know I will gain Saturday. I will supplement nutrisystem with 4 slices of Healthy Life and 4 ounce can of tuna fish divided in two for 2 sandwiches . 3 apples 2 eggs and 1/4 cup cheddar cheese 2 cups of yogurt and 1 diet swiss miss. about 1777 calories. On weekends off I will eat about 1982 calories. I applied for a cashier job at Target. I would like to work 18 hours. They emailed me today that they need me to be more flexible. I told them I could work
Saturday S after 10am Sunday Monday after 1 Tuesday sometimes with appointments
Wednesdays some time with appointment Thursday cant work Friday can work. He told me I would have to work every other weekend. I said I like to work weekends and wanted to work every weekend. I want to ask them whether I could work 3 6 hour days a week. I do not know whether they would hire me or not.

On weekends I will eat lean cuisines and not eat tuna or bread. Everything else the same. I have enough with weekends off for 10 months. Next week because I am eating Sunday thru Thursday I will not eat it next Friday Saturday and Sunday. I go foodshopping next Thursday . I will eat lean cuisines those days. I am going to enjoy myself. I decided.

I gained about 7 lbs from the last few days. I have 6.000 steps already.

Working on the steps each day. Also been adding a workout DVD. Have my day planned, now to stick to it.

Amy, good luck with Target! And sounds like you've got a solid plan in place, good luck with that too! Sorry your slept is going well though.
Hi Brenda! Sounds like you've been doing great with your steps! I feel so silly, I ordered the fitbit you told me about and I just haven't taken the time to set it up online! I really need to do that now that I'm cleared for weight bearing activities!
And yes, I did make it to this morning's spinning class, yea! But I was really dragging and I'm not sure why. For the past 2 nights I've actually slept better than usual! So maybe I still am fighting some bug. I went to the chiropractor at lunch time, I SO needed it! My neck and hips have been aching all week, but she's really made a difference! To me, chiropractor's are like magic, lol!

I got 10k early today. Thinking I did not sleep because worried about working. I think I wont work. I get enough SSDI for my expenses and I go into retirement with the same money when I am 66.or I could retire when I am 65 and get SSI. It is too demanding every day open morning day snd up to 11pm. So I bought red tunics but I can wear them because I don't have summer shirts that fit. 3/4 sleeve and for summer shorter on my arms. I get nutrisystem today out for deliver I am getting 10 boxes enough for the year left. Deb sorry about beibng sick I gained a lot worrying eating junk yesterday. I am off to eat lean cuisine now.
