MONDAY MOVES... 1.) TRACKING 2.) 100+ oz LIQUIDS (water, hot tea, seltzer) 3.) 5 F/V (grapefruit, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, onion (and that's just snack and lunch!!) 4.) NO WINE 5.) 3K STEPS
There are my 5 "moves" for this Monday! What will you do to move towards a healthy Monday???
Having my first 22 oz of water, while waiting for coffee - I have a piece of oven omelet all ready to heat & eat when I get to work. I will have my usual 32 oz of hot decaf green tea - and grapefruit during the morning. Lunch I have my jar salad ready to go, just need to grab a bowl of lettuce to put it on! I don't usually "need" a snack mid day, as I eat later lunch - but will have a protein shake and almonds "just in case"!
Yesterday I got the oven omelet done - also HB eggs, taco meat for Tuesday dinner, chicken for tonight's fajitas/salads. I also cooked chicken for my salads, and have enough for a stir fry during the week. So we are set for Monday - Thursday meals. I never did do the meatloaf, afraid I'd have too much done and something would get wasted - so that meat will be in the freezer until another time!
I also got the last of the laundry in the dryer last night before bed - and dishes were done! WHEW! I Had a good (busy) day! After Zoë was picked up I SAT... and watched 2 hours of DVR TV shows! All in all - a very good day!!

Good Morning ~ Tracked my day. Yesterday I searched and searched the Produce department, even asked 2 employees WHERE was thier zucchini! Found it - will spiral it to replace as any noodles for this week. Found a new recipe with roasted grape tomatoes/onions over zucchini so I will try that - also planning on poultry sausage and peppers over the zucchini.
Had a good day of reading, relaxing, watching football but a terrible WW day. BUT it's all tracked - made me see how an 'ordinary day' pre-WW Plan was what caused the weight gain in first place!
Ready for the week: hb eggs just about done, salads for lunch, then planning on leftovers for lunch too.

Christine: I hope your snow yesterday was a quick storm, that didn't dump a lot in your way!
Sue: Hope the movie was enjoyable - and your date day was fun! OY VEY THE WINDS! I am not sure what happened to my back - it just all of a sudden starting aching! Felt good today coming down the stairs - then I picked up a bag pf pellets and WHAM, felt it again! My bad... I know better - but needed to fill the stove! It will be fine... I am ready for a 1/2 day myself! LOL But I have next Monday off - still not sure of plans!
OMG Don't you hate that?? Ken works at the darned store, but if he doesn't check his phone... UGH... glad Jason went for you though!
LOL Our grass is bare - but we still have the snowplow piles! Of course we had that initial 18" and then have had some more since! My patio is almost bare again! I did NOT even get out there to push slush around - I think the winds did it for me!
Zoë was sure happy to see her Daddy come pick her up!
Thank you - yes... knew if I didn't track the bad days - they would escalate! Yesterday was a good day - tracked and got a solid blue "dot" for being an OP day!
Ahhh... yes... see? That darned wine right there - ready to pour... good for you doing "without" during the week! I will say I have noticed a slight increase in "Cravings" since I don't have the wine each night/day... but I am tracking and not letting the cravings overtake my day!
LOL Ken got produce yesterday (fresher than Wal-Marts looked) but he didn't get enough! LOL So I have 2 salads ready, with two more partially ready... he will get more produce today - as we need salad for the fajitas tonight! I am trying NOT to have a fajita and a taco in the same week! So fajita bowls tonight and a good taco/burrito tomorrow! Tonight after supper I can throw the other two jars together and be ready for the rest of the week! Friday I may have to wing it! LOL
Cute pup - but better them than me! LOL
Glad you enjoyed the movie - and dinner out. I do enjoy Olive Garden - but thankfully we do not have one near here! LOL
Gabrielle: GREAT WI!! WOO HOO for getting to your meeting - and reacquainting yourself with some helpful hints! What do tell - is the "App Academy"? Is it WW App specific?? That sounds interesting!
UGH Three days driving to Sacramento this week?? So is Union City in your district?? Just saw a terrible news article about that school... hoping it is NOT something you have to deal with!
Yes, apparently Patti wasn't feeling well, and was sleeping LATE... so Matt finally went to wake her up and then came alone to get Zoë - she was a happy girl! I wanted her to go home ASAP as I know they will be out of town this Wednesday into Thursday, and most likely will not see her until Friday after work!
YAY For NOT falling on your trail run Saturday! Oh yes, I saw your FB post and was going to say - how tragic. Obviously I don't know much about your area - but it never felt like a place to be afraid! SO sad for that boy and his parents. OMG Jenny was saying something about a child taken out by a wave! So SAD that the parent hadn't heeded the warning signs!! Not to "blame" the father, as I know he is going through his own Hell right now - but MAN - that's WHY they put warning signs up!! Such an avoidable (?) tragedy! Hey. you are allowed to be a "downer"... it's tough to see and hear all these stories. Especially one so "close" to home... {{{{hugs}}}} my friend ♥

Mornin' Christine - YAY for tracking the day - ahead of time... YAY for planning zucchini noodles for the week. YES! LOL You are right... tracking my Friday and Saturday I can SEE why I am where I am right now! Good for you reeling it in after only 1 day!
Sorry you have to do childcare this week - hopefully someone will come in and let you off the hook for a day or two!
OK Must get MOVING on this fine MONDAY... already 30 degrees - still dark, but it doesn't look or sound like any winds or rain out there.
Debbie is out this week - so it will be a difficult week ahead - BUT - I am ready. I am telling myself to take things as they come - and not overthink it. Somedays I can stress myself out before I even get there! LOL Not this week!!
♥hugs♥

Good morning Carole, Sue, Christine, and ATF! Feels like a manic Monday - where did the weekend go? That said, I am feeling like I can be productive today and need to in order to get all the projects that I am working on done this week and not hand them back half completed, but if they pull me from what I'm doing if the Testing section is "ready" for me then I will have known that I did as much as I could in the time that I had. The scanning project and going to pull records gets me out of my chair, which is good.
Carole-good plan! I was wine free this weekend even though I have an unopened bottle in the refrigerator. Sounds like you have a great plan for a healthy Monday!
Christine-glad that you had a relaxing weekend. Greg wanted a taco pizza from Casey's last night, but no worries for me because I had enough points from daily and dipped into weekly a bit. I had 2 pieces and that was enough.
Sue-you sound well prepared for healthy meals. I should get some chicken breasts and cook and freeze them to be in a better situation for making salads. I found an Xtreme wrap that is only 1 point!
We did run into Grace and Geoff and looked at a wedding venue on Saturday, but I think it will be too small and too pricey, and Grace didn't like it. It was a country club golf course type place too, but I think more elite than the place that closed.
I have a couple of errands after work and Greg has a library subcommittee meeting at 4:30, but I am thawing steak for dinner and have potatoes that I need to make so just deciding if they will be mashed or baked wedges.
Gotta run - have a great Monday- waving to all!

Good morning!
Got in my TM time and need to head to the shower soon as my first meeting is at 7:30 am and I have a couple of things to do before that. I already know what I am taking for lunch (and it is mostly put together) so that is a positive step for me. So it is raining again and a chance of low snow on Thursday---will be just spitting snow if it is as they predict...definitely more for those just east of us though. So, it's Monday again! DS20 flies home on Friday for his oral surgery consult (it took months to get this appt). So he will be here and fly out on Monday morning--his college closes for MLK Day so that is why this weekend worked.
Carole: Good job with your OP - blue dot day yesterday! And WOW to your great plans for this week! I am not nearly as organized, but I do have a few dinners planned out. I have a meeting tomorrow night at 6:00 pm and another on Wednesday at 5:30 pm so those two nights will be kind of mixed up in terms of timing. We'll figure it out. I did cut up some carrots and washed all of the grapes to make those things easier to grab during the week. Warm lunch today though---with it being 37 degrees, it is cold to me! Yes, lots of sad news yesterday. We'll hear more about the local boy who is deceased this week---they said it was "suspicious" -- I can't imagine being a parent dealing with all of that. The OR thing was SO sad! The father was holding both of the kids and all three of them were hit by the wave but only he survived (that is the way I read it). I can't imagine! I hadn't seen Union City in the news---it is located in the Bay area sort of southeast of San Francisco (across the bay)--so many questionable neighborhoods in those areas. Either you are a millionaire or you are just making a living--it has become so crazy expensive to live there. So glad that Matt was able to pick up Zoe and she got some alone time with daddy! And that you had some down time yourself--nice! Hope that today isn't too crazy for you....your 5 moves look possible and they will make your day a better one!

Sue: So glad that you enjoyed the movie yesterday! And your lunch sounds great (love avocado)....hope that today is a good day for you!
Christine: I love zoodles for dinner! You'll have to let us know how the roasted tomatoes are with it. I've usually fixed a spaghetti sauce for it and had a little parmesan on top. LOL, I have been known to roam around the veggie section for quite a while before finding something! Glad that you asked for help. I hope that they send you home without having to do childcare (I know, wishful thinking!) When does Linds fly home?
Lisa: Hope that you can get through most of your projects today and yahoo for getting to move around! Hope that the kids can find a venue soon--it's important to feel "comfortable" so I get the discomfort with the place they saw. Again, thank goodness they have a bit of time to find a place. Any chance it can be outside somewhere? Have a good day today!
Hello to all who follow. Need to get a move on --- I have meals planned for the day and plan to be OP. The biggest challenge will be getting in the water when it is this cold. Oh Carole, by the way, the App Academy is all about using the WW app...I am always hearing about something I didn't pick up on myself. See you all later!

Good Morning everyone
I am off today as we start our 4 10 hour shifts and I'm loving it. 3 day weekends are the best. We sure enjoyed our day trip to the beach on Saturday. We went and looked at the huge waves that were rolling in, I mean the photos I took doesn't do them justice at all because they were so big. We had a nice lunch at Surf Tides restuarant with a pretty view of the King Tides. DSIL and DBIL joined us at lunch and then we followed them to the spot with the sea lion named Joe. The tide was acutally going out at that time so we could get to the spot because earlier on in the day I saw pictures of where we were standing at and it was under water and you couldn't get to it. Yes, they had blocked road onto the beach so you couldn't get down on the beach which you shouldn't be at all. Yes, I couldn't believe that man in Cannon Beach took his kids on the beach that's pretty stupid for an adult on the beach but taking you children? Rediculous!!!!! We never went on the beach no way. We grabbed some steamer clams and some oysters and came home. I'm going to have Kerry shuck the oysters today and freeze them and pull them out some time and make Oyster stew some other time. We had steamers last night for dinner tonight it's chicken.
Sue I love the puppy named Cooper what a cutie. Are you finally off the bad medication? Boy that does not sound fun at all. I too enjoy my wine at night. I have cut it back to 2-3 at night but even need to cut down to 1 a night. I'm getting a box tonight cause they are calling for snow for the rest of the week and usually when it snow here it stays for about 4 day's so I'm getting the house stock up just in case. I don't drive in the snow cause it's usually to icy so I leave that to Kerry to do. We will see if it even snow, which I highly doubt.
Carole from the reports on TV sounds like you had a nice spring weekend and now they are predicting snow for you this week? Bummer I hate when the weather messes with us like that. Did Matt get his results from all the Chemo he did? Did it shrink his tumor so they can remove it? No, I did not walk on the beach it was way to dangerous, I would never put myself in harms way, we kept a distance between us and the waves that day. But, it was beautiful sight to see and you know it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be, it was a nice time. Well our Seahawks are out of the playoff's so I'm think I'm routing now for the 49er's since they are a West coast team. I don't even think I'll watch super bowl this year.

Christine boo to the snow. Have you got a lot of snow this year? Yes we had a great view at the restaurant. Sorry about DM at the Elks club, I mean who thinks of a sitting situation when going out to dinner? My goodness!!!! I think she should be greatful for a whole month of celebrations. How is Lindsey liking California? Have you heard from her?
Gabrielle so sad about the little boy in Placerville. I hope they find out what happened and can get those that were affiliated with his disappearance. How was the run on the rough trail on Saturday? I'm going to go to PF and join today because they have a special for 20 cents down and 10.00 a month, I can do that. I think I'll sign Audrey up as she has expressed and interest to join as well and we will sign Kerry up after he get's over all his upcoming surgeries.
OK need to get up and get some dishes done and make a Costco run Hello to Lisa and Shelly and all who follow, have a wonderful day
Oh by the way my WI was down 3.8# on Saturday and I switched to the green program so it really works for my body.
Jenny
