TUESDAY TOOLS... What "tools" do you use to help along this journey?? My biggest ones would be the WW App on my phone/WW Website for tracking and my kitchen scale for measuring!! There are a few things I do NOT like about the app for tracking, but then I can use the site! I still wish there was a place to log liquids... just because, but will look into another app sometime. The only problem with another app - is - it will be on my phone, so if I am on my tablet, it won't all "sync" - or at least I doubt it would all be synced together!??
Another night of awake every hour - getting to be a habit I wish I could break! Guest room is still in limbo, as Tracy is half moved out but the other half of her stuff remains! I hope to get in there at some point this week and move her stuff to one side, and at least make the bed! Then I will buy a new mattress for in there and hope it helps me out some nights!
OK coffee is ready, BRB ♥

Sue: Good job prepping the salads - does make for a less hectic morning!
Lisa: LOL Manic Monday... I agree the weekend just "went"! This weekend will be the same I'm afraid... something going on each day I guess, so it sort of sucks the weekend away from me! Not going to have much time to prep for the week ahead!
YAY for feeling productive heading into work on a Monday! How did the day go?? Get a lot done?? Ahh, love taco pizza!! Good for you having the points and making it work!!
Sorry venue choosing isn't going so well - fingers crossed they find something soon!
Gabrielle: YAY for TM time!! Glad DS20 will be home again - sorry not for longer, but good he could make the trip for the consult!! YAY for a 3 day weekend!
Sorry you have to work late so often! That alone would change my desire to plan a menu!
YES! A WW App Academy... keep us posted, please! LOL
Jenny: WOO HOO for 3 day weekends for you!! Good for you for NOT going on the beach! As much as I LOVE the water - I have a healthy level of "fear" for it as well!
So if you get snow, you don't have to go to work?? Ah, yes, stocking up... LOL, I hear ya'! When there is a storm coming in I used to always hit the liquor store!! Good luck IF you get that snow!
Yes, it's New England... we had AWESOME temps, Saturday was a great day - Sunday was wicked windy! Yes warm, but too windy to be out there enjoying it!! Now we are back to cold, but not too bad... 30s... could be worse!
Matt goes this Wednesday for his scan... but won't know anything until his appointment Thursday. LOL With the Pats out of the playoffs and no SB for them... it means no SB party here! YAY! I have ALWAYS said I'll do a party if the Pats are playing! Been that way for years... so no party this year! Which is fine by me!
Good for you - joining PF as a family!! Tracy goes to the one here - she sometimes will go on her way into work at 11 PM. It helps her be more "awake" during the night! LOL

OK Going to poke around FB and the PC party I am in this week. See what's "new"! Then get my lunch packed - and get the day started earlier than usual!
Will have to talk with Ken this morning - he had a meeting at work last night - with so many changes happening at the store, I need to ask what NOW?!
Whatever the new boss had to say - I am sure it was not good!!
Enjoy your day today ladies... and think about sharing some tools that you use on this journey ♥hugs♥

Good morning!
Track Tuesday so will be getting this day going soon enough. It sounds like the rain from last night has let up (yahoo!) and it is 40 degrees so I will layer up. I have a night thing to go to (honoring our hospital CEO who is retiring)...hope that they do it at the beginning of the meeting--I don't need to attend another full meeting! Tracked yesterday and looking forward to a healthy lunch with some of my dinner leftovers---I LOVE roasted veggies so that will be part of my lunch. Tuesday tools....well, I definitely benefit from using the WW app. Also I use a number of resources to find new recipes which is really helpful. And my scale is used ALL of the time. It's just sitting out on the counter and allows me to keep better track of what I am putting on my plate. I really like the scanner on the WW app....
Carole: Hope that you have a good day! I will be thinking positive thoughts for Matt as he gets his scan and prepares for his report on Thursday. Yep, time to get Tracy to move her stuff out of that room...you need your sleep! I have my appt with the NP for my annual exam next Monday and I think that I am finally (after 6 years) going to talk to her about the hot flashes and if there is something to do for them. It's amazing how years go by and, before you know it, your sleep and other things have been sidelined by them for so long that you think of it as "normal". She has asked me before, but I usually say it is okay. Oh yes, the store situation where no one wants to be the manager--hope that the meeting went well last night. I am sure that Ken will give you the news soon. Are you finding that your dinner meal planning is serving you well this week? I would think so! I would love that! Yes, looking forward to the App academy--I expect a wide variety of people to be there --some who have never used it and some who are really used to it. I feel like, if I learn one good thing, it is worth it! I do use the computer sometimes too and like having both. It is interesting about your idea for tracking water--I will bring that up. I would love it if we could track a nutrient like protein...would love to see if we can see that (it must calculate it to find points, right?) I will let you know!

Jenny: So glad that you had a great time on the coast--- I LOVE seafood and it all sounds good to me. You are braver than me though---I don't cook with a lot of seafood since we can't really get good, fresh seafood around here. I do cook fish though (freshwater). Yay for the great deal at PF! Sounds like it will fit well into your lifestyle--love that Audrey is interested too! You two will get it all figured out so that Kerry can join in once he is cleared for it--nice! I would LOVE a 4-day week! We offer that to our classified staff in the summer months and both of the ladies in our office do it---I already work at least 10 hours most days so it would suit me fine. It's such a great thing that your company was bought out, isn't it? Yes, I am SO sad for the dad who was down on the beach with his kids....I can't fathom how you get over that. Still no word on the boy from Placerville other than that they say they are not concerned about public safety. Leads me to believe that they know what happened---I am dreading hearing though....it was a rough weekend for alot of us around here. Hope that you don't get too much snow! We might have a little on Thursday.
Hello to all who follow. I need to get ready and pack my lunch. I don't mind the 30 min drive to the track--kind of nice to get my "head in the game" and have a warm car, cup of coffee, etc. See you all tomorrow (if not sooner!)

Morning Carole, Gabrielle and all to come....not time to visit now but will catch up after work tonight...
Spend half my night last night on the phone with DISH....the DVR has been acting stupid for a while, freezing up and needing to reboot the system....we tried everything and tried figure out if it was one channel, one receiver/Joey....nothing jived. Long story short the "partial reset" didn't work so they hard drive apparently is crapping out so they are sending a new one that should arrive tomorrow or Thursday.....bad thing is we may or may not lose ALL that is set as timers and recorded. They might be able to transfer some things but won't know until we make the switch!! Fingers crossed we can save some of it anyway....so I spend last evening trying to watch a few things but NOT during the football game....
Everything is fine watching live TV so it is only a problem watching the DVR.....he really wanted to see the game so I told him I would only watch live TV after 8pm....needless to say fell asleep and was actually in bed before 10. Slept OK but feeling fairly rested.
Need to pack my lunch and get my hair dried so I can hit the road....

Good morning! Guess what? I'm unemployed again...I was all geared up for the week and yesterday I noticed that my phone access to answer different division's phones and also access to some hard drives had an X over them and first I thought it might be because they were training new people on the front desk. But then about 30 minutes before I was scheduled to leave I took some folders into the extra help office, and Nancy said I have some bad news, today your last day. I was surprised and sad, but I gathered up what I have been working on, and have all done but the scanning project. I think I will be at the top of the list if any part time requests come in (and I meet the skill set needed). So I have made my to do list for this morning, which includes some kind of exercise, hopefully a brisk walk outside. I sure do need to clear my head!
Carole-fingers crossed for a good scan for Matt. I would agree that the app is my biggest tool, and by tracking, whatever kind of day I have, I am accountable. Hope Ken doesn't have any major work changes.
Gabrielle-hope the night event doesn't go too late. I forgot about the scanner, that is something new to me but now that I have learned how to use it, I love it! So much easier than trying to find the item by description especially if it is unique food item.
Jenny-looks like you had a great trip and the coast pictures were nice on FB. I do like to visit ocean beaches and watch the sunsets.
I'm still feeling at a loss, I hated turning in a project only half completed I think is the worst. Telling myself to get over it and move on!
Will check back later. Who knows, tomorrow I could be working again if I get a call....

Sue-saw your post as I was exiting - sorry about the DISH problems. We still have cable and have occasional outages but I hear a lot of local people also having trouble with other TV providers, so we have stuck with cable. We are old school I guess. Hope that you have a good day.
Heading to my email. The third party return that I sent back from Walmart still hasn't been refunded or even acknowledged so I am going back to my email from Walmart customer service to see if they can help.

Good morning
WWOW was 10 min late this morning. She lives out in Silverton OR up in the mountains and it was snowing up there so she texted she was either not coming in or going to be late, I was hoping for not coming in today but darn it she showed up. The pit crew supervisor is so mad at her, she turned him in for cussing or something like that and Fred had to give him a verbal warning last week, he is still really mad about it. See it's the little things she tattles on people for and she needs to pick and choose her battles instead of telling on everyone for everything. OH BOY!!!!! No snow today but tomorrow will be only 27degrees and freezing fog so I have to be really careful in the morning, so does Audrey now she drives to school it really worries me. No, we do not come in if it's snowing or icy around here, it's just not worth risking it, cause lets face it, Oregonians are very terrible drivers, we like to drive every where as fast as we can , I'm so guilty of this. OK she's back so I need to get a move on.
Have a wonderful day everyone
Jenny

Evening all....tried to call DM before I sat down her to catch up and that lasted 2 1/2 minutes. She didn't even know it was me....usually when I call she knows my voice....today she asked "who is this"! I asked if she was excited about our visit in July and she said "what visit"....apparently Jim didn't let her know we had booked our trip....the saga continues....letting it go....
Back to catch up...
Gabrielle....glad you got to your WW meeting....great loss!! I'm sure the tracking and focus does help!! Love the environment theme...yes, if your home, work space, etc are set up for success then success is easier to attain....get rid of the sabotage and have the "good stuff" at the ready!
Cooper is a Golden Doodle...Golden Retriever and Poodle....they don't shed!! Murphy, the 1st Doodle was a true Golden Doodle....Buckley was a GD/Poodle mix and the extra poodle made him a little more hyper than Murph....Murph was the mellowest, most lovable pup! This time they wanted another true Golden Doodle....so Cooper's Dad was also Murphy's Dad....fingers crossed he's as mellow as Murph! I will say Buckley has mellowed with age but it took 5 years! LOL!
Gabrielle...never heard of "Bombshell"....I know we want to see Frozen 2, Jumanji and Richard Jewell...my DF Lynne saw Richard Jewell and said it was an eye opener. OK...I'll confess, I want to see Frozen 2 because I love ALL THINGS Disney and my DH is a sweetie and will go along. He will confess, he's a "closet Disney Lover"! He even mentioned that the preview of the "live" Mulan looked good! LOL!
OK....what are Madras lentils??? OMG...I saw your post about the missing little boy....so sad he was found dead! What is this world coming to? It doesn't happen around here often either so when it does, it's shatters a community. I hadn't heard of the father and two kids at the King Waves....how sad! Worst nightmare for any parent.
Carole...love your "moves" for Monday....I will say, I had a healthy Monday until my "run in" with Dish....I did go down and get a bottle of wine....had 1 glass because I was pi$$ed. It's done. WOW, you had a VERY productive Sunday...good idea to pass on the meatloaf, never want stuff to go to waste. Sounds like you needed to sit after Zoe got picked up!!
Christine....I have an oven roasted Balsamic tomato/onion sauce that is awesome! When I get overrun by cherry tomatoes it's the perfect recipe to make....I pile a bunch of tomatoes, onions and drizzle with Balsamic vinegar.....is cooks down and gets a "roasted" taste to it. I have often done it to put in the freezer to add to regular sauce later in the summer to add a "depth of flavor" to my regular sauce! How's that for a "food network" thought.....LOL!
Christine....glad your "ordinary day" pre-WW was an eye-opener....sometimes that is just what we need to open our eyes and refocus. Glad it was a nice day otherwise reading, relaxing and watching football!

Carole...YES, those winds were crazy....we are bracing for another batch of them on Thursday....actually, Thursday could be worse with sustained winds of 20+....not liking that! OOPS, guess you need to NOT pick up a bag of pellets when your back is unstable! Will admit to being a bit jealous of your upcoming "bank holiday"!! For us the beginning of the year is tough...we go from NY Day to Memorial Day.....after that we have Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas....pretty much every other month holiday but the 1st part of the year is tough.
I will be taking the 1/2 day in February and we decided that we will head to Auburn for a long weekend the 24th to 27th of April. Want to go when the threat of snow or "weather" is just about over but not too close to Memorial Day....April has Palm Sunday, Easter the 1st two weeks and Pat plays for some music at church those weeks so I checked with her for the other two weekends....she had something on the 18th so it was set....last weekend of the month. She said again "I'm so thankful you take me with you, hope it's OK to go the last weekend"! We are flexible and I so want her to be able to still see our family. Her biggest fear after Dad died was that she would not get to see our family...I promised her that we would ALWAYS take her with us....we honestly have nothing "written in stone" unless it is a wedding or something specific....if it's just a "visit"...it can be anytime! Heck, she's in her 70's...she doesn't want to drive 7-8+ hours by herself and I don't blame her....we love her and her company so it's fun to have her to ourselves for our road trips!! I know Auntie Priscilla loves to have her there too....two of my favorite people get to spend time together...makes my heart VERY happy!
LOL Carole....I was just about to SNAP at Jason about not checking his phone when he said, "I'll go back to the store"! Tell me, how hard is it to look at your phone when leave wherever you are?? I get that Jason is "old school" and technology baffles him but all he has to do is look at his phone...it would have told him he had a text message AND voice mail!! I left both!
OK....need dinner and need to chat with David.....see you all in the morning! Yes, I'm still behind but thinking of all I missed!

Good evening all. I had full intentions on getting here yesterday and then again today but it’s time to get to bed. Tonight DS came over for a while to visit. Was nice to have him by for a few. Now I’m falling asleep so not going to even attempt. Stressed today has taken it out of me. Had to fire a manager today for stealing. Have had a bad feeling about her but finally had proof. I will try to go into more detail tomorrow. So for now I’m just going to head on to bed. Anyway you will come back hopefully tomorrow. Hope to see you then
