Wednesday I shall once again PTHM. Carl is going into Worcester to meet up with a friend. I'm planning a quiet day at home. Have enough to keep myself busy or may just choose to kick back.
I'm very tired for some reason. I find myself nodding off.
Sweet dreams all.

Rest up Ann. Stress and worry can really wear you down. Hope you enjoyed yesterday Audrey. Midnight is an indoor cat so I'm not sure what this stems from. Thanks for checking in Bee That's the best we can do Becky. I am off to the gym. Cheryl and I set up a routine that I would get her mail and drop it off on Wednesdays since both her apartment and the nursing home are within minutes of my WW meeting but a stomach bug as swept the place and she doesn't want me to come today. I am fine with that. After the gym is the ferals, WI and work. The W-2s arrived yesterday so the next few days will be sorting and mailing. Meeting tonight. Working on my plan.

Good morning all. Slept pretty well. Woke up early. Probably from just too many naps.
Susi, that's great the Cheryl gave you the 'thumbs up' on a stomach bug sweeping the NH. Good luck with your W2 forms.
Becky I'll join you in KOKO. It's about all I'm up for.
Bee great attitude.
Audrey great that you can tackle your chores at home without errands thrown into the mix. Your dinner sounds good.
Waving to AWF and will pop in later.

Goooooood morning
Thx for kind words and prayers for Richard & DM. Hopeful that hand surgeon nurse will call in the morning. Will call her if I have heard nothing by afternoon.
Ann Thx for starting us off. Kudos for limiting the homemade cookies at your unplanned coffee/cookie visit. Nice that you have many friendly neighbors. Good to hear that you have had a short respite from the pain. Agreeing w/ Audrey that stress (plus pain) is wearing. Sending warm hugs & hoping that you awake rested.
Audrey Good to figure out "what" you truly need in your life and what you do not. Glad that you could find constructive ways to lessen your anxiety. Ha ha ha.. chicken can also be rotated in or out of a weekly menu.
Bee Exactly.
Becky That 7 degree improvement of mobility represents a lot of effort and time. Thanks for letting me know. So happy for you. Did you get new shoes? I need some, too.
Cathy Do you meet w/ your friends today?
Mj Where's AmazingGrace2 headed today?
LaDonna Nice that Lakken can cook and run a few chores for you as she transitions to another job that is a better fit. Here is a thought. Maybe she might like working for the state wildlife department.
Pam Hope that your Wednesday finds you in the BlueDot zone.
Susi Good plan for handling the mail and such for Cheryl. I have been worried about the flu or any bug striking at nursing home. I really can not afford to catch a bug or pass it on to R. Hope Midnight is feeling better.

Okey dokey Hope that today will open a clearer path forward for R. Understandablely he is on edge. A bubble bath is on the agenda. Menu planning for the next three days is also on the agenda.
First day of school Is in the books.🤓 Ha ha ha. . . No student dropped after meeting me and reviewing the syllabus.
Am hoping that mom is feeling better today and is in a better mindframe.

Thx, Ann & Susi
Ha ha ha... naturally the surgeon's nurse called while I was taking my bubble bath & R was walking in the back property.
Surgery is set for Fri., Jan. 24th. Will not know the time until Weds., Jan. 22 Luckily, he can do presurgical assetment over the phone this Fri. Evening.
Susi, for me, the worst part is that the earliest surgery date is at the Crystal Clinic Ortho Center, which is over an hour away & it is winter. I am, however, willing to drive down there on TH night and get a hotel room if needed. Whatever it takes.
Positives are that this surgery date is 5 weeks earlier than any opening in local ortho hospital where surgeon is on staff. Also I can arrange a take-home unit to let me stay home to nurse him the next week. I will be far more comfortable being home w/ him. And the follow-up appt. on Feb. 5th is local & not on a class day.

Thanks again for all your prayers and kind words. Heading to nursing home to check on my mom.
At least, I did have a healthy breakfast of steel cut w/ a few walnuts & skim milk. Plus I did relax for about 98.3 % of my bubble bath. 😜

I am home from a day with friends...they kind of "jumped on me" or at least that is how I felt. I think they thought they were helping me come up with solutions for what they saw as "problems" that I don't see as problems or at least don't see making waves about to change the situation. Anyway...think a glass of wine might be in order and a nice relaxing evening. They did ask what my "dream" is and how I plan to achieve it and I kind of don't have one (not really) so might need to come up with one?
Anyway...will close now and say I am glad for friends but sometimes like quiet days reading a whole lot better!
