WORK IT WEDNESDAY... Will "work it" as usual... liquids - tracking - staying in my DPA, and earning my blue dot! Will say this week has been tough! I mean I am tracking - but it's been a weird one! I am almost out of WPA - and the scale is noticing it too! For some reason my breakfast didn't hold me Monday - so I ate my snacks mid morning... then had a later lunch - but then still ate a full dinner! Anyway... yesterday I was OK, and didn't eat all my snacks - but did cave to a piece of retirement cake at work! Came home and didn't eat dinner! So the last thing I ate yesterday was my lunch - LATE - around 2:30, and it was filling! Woke up this morning, well when I finally decided to get out of bed at 4:30 and now not feeling hungry... and it's already been 14 hours! Having a bottle of water now - while I wait for my coffee! Just feel "off" this week!
TODAY: Water B: HB Egg, Grapefruit, Coffee S: Tea, Banana L: Salad 2 DP, Water S: Almonds, Seltzer D: Tacos! Might do a taco salad, might go for the wrap tonight? Add a few nachos, with salsa and cheese, and there goes my daily points! LOL SELTZER... WILL DRINK SELTZER FOR DINNER. Then before bed I will have my tea - as usual.
OK Coffee is ready, let's see what yesterday was all about!

Gabrielle: Hope the track running went well - and YAY for the rain letting up! UGH I do hope your meeting last night was a quick one! I agree the WW app is easy - but there are a few things I don't think it does... like tracking my favorites... easier to do that on the computer. Oh yes, the scanner - that's how I was able to create the omelet recipe - just scanned the codes for the frozen veggies, ham, cheese... helped make it easier! Again though - I do wish they had a water tracker! They always used to - wonder when/why that became less important?
I will say today will be one very long day! Knowing Matt is having his scan, but won't know results until tomorrow! LOL Yes, after another night of being awake Every.Single.Hour. - today when I get home from work I will go clean off and make the bed! I will be ordering a new mattress for in there soon - but until then I will use what's there!
Good for you bringing up the hot flashes with your NP! Hoping she has something that will help! Yes... it truly IS amazing how long this sleep thing has been going on! I remember buying the sofa for the living room - a pull out - for nights I couldn't sleep... and that was quite a few years ago! I see on my patient portal, that my Dr has referenced my sleep apnea... now to get something to take care of it!
OH - the store - now the new owner is "forcing" the 5 employees to become "PARTNERS"! They met with the lawyer last Wednesday night! IT is all so much to deal with - if they don't form a partnership, he may just close and they will all be out of work! It is scary to think at 64 Ken and my sister will be partners - which means WHAT when they want to retire?? No answers on that yet! No one wants to be out of a job - nor does anyone want to see the store close - heck it's been a fixture in town since the 1800s! But I gotta say - this is causing a lot of anxiety for a lot of people!! My sister (will be 64 in July) and for the first time in her life she has to find health insurance! Well she doesn't HAVE to - but since she is the only one of the 5 getting insurance through the store - she won't ask the other 4 to cover her insurance costs! But it is so expensive, she can't keep that insurance, so is out applying for the Mass Connector - whatever it is! just boggles my mind that this guy can come in and threaten they either form the partnership and run the place, or He'll.Just.Close.! UGH Sorry - rambling again...

Still no word on the boy in Placerville? Yes, I'd say they know just who did what - and just not ready to share yet!
Sue: UGH - Sorry about the DISH fiasco... I am trying to clean up my DVR this week - even watching some Christmas shows that I missed! Glad you got a good night's sleep!
Lisa: Oh No! WOW! What changed?? Sorry you "lost" your job - but glad they will keep you on the short list for another time! How odd though! YAY for using it as a chance to get your exercise again!
Well, if you read my previous post - you see Ken does have major work changes!
{{{hugs}}} You did your best! If they had kept you on you would have completed the project... they know it wasn't your choice to turn in a partially completed job! I know - hard to see it that way sometimes ♥
UGH IF cable were available - I'd sure be on it!
Jenny: LOL Sorry WWOW showed up! Oh I could drive in OR! I too want to get where I am going and not waste time on the road!! Bad weather though (I have to go to work) I am the little old lady who drives slow - and very cautious!!
Sue: Oh dear... Sorry another issue with DM... and DB... could he have told her and she forgot?? Glad you tried though {{{hugs}}}
Yes, I am grateful that the FED closes on the Federal holidays... if they didn't - we wouldn't! Like Patriot's Day in April - only a MA holiday, so we are open!
I think we are still going away for the one night this weekend. Not sure though... as Ken and his brothers were supposed to go to a brewery and make beer. However when Eric went to make the reservation he saw how the price has gone up so much... so not sure at this point if they will or they won't! I think we will still go visit... will just be a different kind of day I guess?
YAY for a spring trip north! Glad Pat can join you again - I think it must be good for her! That may be the week we are heading to SC! LOL At this point we are in limbo - waiting on what is happening with Matthew. We also looked at the Time Share offer, and are "thinking" about TN in July instead of SC in April... just a change of pace I guess! Yes April is a tough month for doing things! LOL
We have our Relay Paint Night on the 5th, bake sale on the 11th, Easter the 12th... Matt's BD on the 13th and Tim & Jaclyn's anniversary on the 23rd! WHEW!
Hope you had a good chat with David!
Shelly: Aww, {{{hugs}}}, sorry about having to fire someone - that can't be easy! YAY for some time with DS though. Hope you slept well - ooops, time to be getting up and ready for work now isn't it?? (6:00 AM EST)

OK Guess I should get moving. Had a good day yesterday - got some of my own work cleaned up off my desk and completed Debbie's work. Her workload wasn't very heavy yesterday! YAY!
Oh I have been given the 2 days next Wednesday & Thursday to work in Amanda's office to get ATM caught up! I think (if all goes well) I should be able to get a day or two done today! Going to try anyway!
Will CBL or in the morning - WORK IT WEDNESDAY... ♥hugs♥

Morning Carole and all to come....
My new Hopper should be here by the time I get home from work so will hook that up first thing and then hopefully it won't be too long and I'll catch up after that.
Watched some DVR'd stuff and then started Jeopardy....will say I called it from Day #1 that Ed Jennings would come out on top and he did indeed! I've always liked him and was glad to see him come out on top!!
See you all later....have a great Wednesday! I'm covering for Sherry so the day will be busy and should go quickly!

Good morning! DOR from the TM today (or any other kind of run) but planning to "double up" tomorrow--TM and then the gym class. Looking forward to it, actually. I really like the instructor and the people in the class. Got home at about 7:00 pm and had a call with my brother at 8:00. I haven't mentioned it here, but his marriage is dissolving...it's been going on for a year, but now it is certain and he is having a rough time with it. I will be in San Diego for my conference a week from Sunday and intentionally flew in a bit early to spend some time with him. It's pretty exhausting talking to him (he is really more tied to the marriage than she is), but he appreciates the support a lot ---and I feel terrible for him. Anyway, needed to do that last night. Went to bed a little late, but happy to be carpooling to my meeting in Sacramento today so that will be a good thing! And, of course, have another meeting tonight....
Carole: My eating has been a bit "off" over the last day too. The late meeting threw me--and I have had that happen before when I just felt hungry in the morning. Thank goodness you had healthy snacks with you to head it off! The good news is that every day is a fresh start, right? Hey, your weeklies are there to use and I think that, by using them, you can still lose but it might be just a bit slower. The good thing about that is that you are finding the "livable" way to do it instead of depriving yourself. Good job tracking! So, regarding favorites, on my app, when I go to track a meal, commonly tracked foods come up and it's easy to pick them. I consider that my "favorites"...do you have that? So, by making the employees partners, does that mean that they share the management? I actually wondered if that would be the decision. Do they have to invest dollars or is it only the management? So many changes for them! Uggh, and finding insurance? Sorry to hear that too. I can only imagine the sense of anxiety waiting to hear Matt's results. How nice it would be if he could text you or something right after he hears...instead of making you wait. But I know that this might not be the case. Hugs to you! So, I am proud of you for getting that settlement done by the end of January as they had hoped! I know that it will take two more days, but there is a plan. They must be so happy that you have been able to do this! Yep, sounds like getting that other room ready for sleeping in is a good idea. Time flies by with things like that....my waking up is my own thing--DH isn't causing it. Hope that the NP has some ideas (she has in the past). Have a good day!

Sue: Sorry for the DISH woes...technology things drive me NUTS. You start working on them and, before you know it, hours have gone by. Glad that they are sending a new hopper. We made the switch to Directv and it has worked out better for us than DISH in our area. We had DISH for about 10 years or so. Sorry about DM....sounds like her confusion was more than not recognizing her voice. Like Carole, I am wondering if she forgot you were coming in July. My mom is only in her 70's but I have her write things down (and she admits that she forgets some things). Glad that you have a weekend in April planned to break up that long stretch of time until Memorial Day. The way things have gone lately, that time could FLY by! Yes, still no news on the cause of the boy's death--autopsy was yesterday and, at the City Council Meeting I was at last night, they had a moment of silence for him. It has really affected our community. The family just moved here a month ago....wondering about who they were and their situation now as well. Hope that you have a good day and that you get home and have the DISH issues resolved (and the timers are saved)!
Lisa: Oh man, so sorry that the end of the position was so abrupt! And we know that you wanted to feel like you had finished....yep, you did the best that you could. I hope that something else comes up. In the meantime, great idea to add some activity to your day (I remember that was one of your goals).

Jenny: Well, sorry that WWOW came in and was (obviously) in a foul mood ---hope that it is better today. The good news is that you have 4-day weeks so less days where you have to interact with her! Did you get signed up for PF? I am with you, not a fan of driving in the cold weather. It's 29 degrees today and it rained most of yesterday so there is sure to be some ice...uggh. Oh well, it IS winter after all, right? Hope that you have a good day!
Shelly: Human resources is the toughest part of a management job! Why do adults do such dumb things? So sorry that you had to fire someone, but so glad that you had evidence. Hope that it is better today....will you be able to go to the gym at lunch? I hope so!
Christine: How are you doing? Is Linds home yet?
Okay, gotta go. Hope that you all have a good day. With another evening meeting, I won't be checking in tonight but hope to SUPER early tomorrow (or I will from the meeting in Sacramento before they start). Have a good day and make sure you are "working it" !

Hey all. I’ve been a little preoccupied today thinking about the little ones in a Wyoming. Both Chesney and Nathan tested positive for RSV and ear infections. I’ve been pretty worried about them. Especially little Chesney. She looked so sick when her momma sent me a pic of her with her oxygen on laying in her big girl hospital bed. Poor girl!!!! She’s one sick little girl. Nate doesn’t seem as bad so they are staying the night in a hotel while Tyler and Chesney stay in the hospital again tonight. she was admitted late late last night so momma hasn’t had much sleep. Hope she’s able to get some sleep tonight at the hotel. I paid for a room and when they got there she said it was dirty and cold. And the water in the shower wouldn’t even get warm. They are supposed to refund my money and they went somewhere else. Such a big mess. I couldn’t believe the hotel was in such bad shape. She said she stayed there before when her friend got married. I guess it’s a historic hotel so I would think they would want to keep it up!!! Just glad they understood and will give me a refund.
Tomorrow’s is supposed to be bad here. Arctic air moving in with chance of ice so I have to leave early. It’s almost 11 and I have a feeling I am going to be tossing and turning and not sleeping. Not sure if it’s just my nerves for the kids and their sick babies or what but I better at least go try and get some sleep. Will update you all tomorrow
