Ann, it is Cannaisseur Brands green tea and cucumber pain relief cream. A massage therapist at a very nice resort in San Diego used it on me after I had a very bad fall and it really eased the pain so I bought it. As I said though I forget to use so many of the things I have. The stress remedy my housekeeper gave me is Bach rescue remedy for natural stress relief. There are lots of on line reviews. They even have it for pets. Lily Belle and I just did 4000 steps on our walk so we are off to a good start. I too had over 10,000 steps yesterday. DH came home late and I started to look for things to eat so weight went up .2. The scale is a good reminder of what not to do.

Thank you so much for that information Audrey. I appreciate it and shall check it out. I have badger stress relief soother and also their headache soother. Like you, they only work when I remember to use them.
I doubt I'll break 10,000 steps today. I'm going to aim for it, though.

Audrey Not sure what cream the doctor prescribed. CBD products are "big" now, but I am doubtful that mom has one. I have a lot onmy plate today, so I could only squeeze in a 1/2 visit around breakfast. Mom took her meal in the dining hall. Good sign, but was still somewhat confused and negative. I did what I could to lift her spirits and check in her.
So many switches that quickly trip anxiety "on." Great step count for your first walk! Ann You do a great job of indoor walking. Kudos!
LaDonna Sometimes entry level jobs require minimal skills and then inhouse training is possible for advancement. Also helps to have an "in." I encourage students to research job adverts to see what agencies & other employers want, and then pursue those qualifications.
Susi Oh.... how does one detsress a cat? Acatnip'? Music? Soft bedding? A crate in which he or she can escape? Have no idea.

Pam positive vibes out to you.
June thanks. I'm sure you are doing all that is humanly possible with your mom. My hat goes off to you. Praying that she gets less confused/negative. I'm sure she perked up just having you there.
Susi I meant to tell you that there is a vest that they sell for dogs that have stress/anxiety/separation issues. Last time I was at the Vet people in the waiting room were talking about it. Not sure how it would work on a cat as their behavior is different from a dogs but you may want to look into that.
I'm stressed today as well and have been for a few days. Donna moved out of her parents house and moved in with her boyfriend. He lives 2 houses away. To me that's like jumping off the stove and into the fire. I discussed this with her before and although I love her like a sister, I can't 'go there' again. It's far too upsetting for me and I can't let that happen. It's not fair to Carl also. I just wish she would see him for what he is...a wolf in sheep's clothing....but the old saying you can lead a horse to water but you can not make him drink!
Thanks for listening. Feels good to get that off my chest!

Ann, Becky, Bee, Audrey, Cathy, MJ, June, LaDonna, Pam - Prayers to all for all the stress we are currently dealing with for a variety of reasons. Audrey - Yes, we are all here because we are not quitters. Ann - You have done all you can to help Donna. Time to step back. No, the thunder vests don't work the same for cats. Becky - My podiatrist strongly recommends New Balance or Asics sneakers and Sketcher's air walkers for balance and support Thanks Bee Audrey - I'm glad you are seeing the doctor today and can discuss what may be triggering this. Cathy - Glad you have turned it around. MJ - Glad Toots was able to step up to the plate and help out. Hope you are feeling much better. June - All you can do is all you can do. Hope R's appointment is doable. At least you spent some time with mom Pam - Prayers for DH LaDonna - Hope work eases up. All my W-2s are now in the mail. I have to remember that Midnight has barely been with me for 2 months after going from a bad situation to a cage to a new home. Then the loss of Missy which still has me stunned. I knew she was starting to go down hill but didn't expect that. Catnip actually can help a cat destress. As I start to calm down and relax, so will she. The vet did a lot to put my mind at ease and it helped to talk with her about Missy since she is normally her vet.

Ann I'm glad you slept well.Yuck on the snow. They said we would get a cold front today and the low has been 57 degrees but it's been cloudy and dreary looking all day.No real rain yet.Tomorrow it's already supposed to be up by 70.A one day cool front.Yesterday was so hot and humid.Like LaDonna I had the AC on yesterday.I agree the key is to keep busy.I will have 10,000 steps in before night walking in the house but right now I'm resting my legs.
Susi I'm sorry you have been so stressed about Midnight.I hope she feels better soon.I'm glad you are relieved they found no parasites.
LaDonna Good for you being OP and getting in your walks. My joints will not allow me to get in outside walks. My eye is fine but my legs are worse today.
Audrey I'm so sorry the anxiety is back today.I hope you had a good dr appointment.(((Hugs))).Good for you on the 4000 steps. My scale was up .4 and I was OP so go figure.
Ann Where did you get the stress and headache soother?
Pam KOKO is always good.Sending prayers and positive vibes for the eye appointment.
June I'm glad you could squeeze in 1/2 visit with your mom.I'm sure it made her feel better.
Susi We all seem to be going through stress.Prayers for everyone affected including you also.I bought New Balance but they don't carry my size so I had to get a mans New Balance and it just makes it worse.I also have a pair of mens Asics.Same problem.(((Hugs))).I know losing Missy was really hard on you.

My podiatrist strongly recommends New Balance or Asics sneakers and Sketcher's air walkers for balance and support This is information that I needed, Susi! My gray sneakers absolutely need to be retired and just walking into that department makes my head spin.

The doctor wants me to slowly increase my medication for two weeks alternating between 5 and 10 mg to make sure I have no side effects. He is also referring me to a therapist. Ann, Donna has issues you can't solve so you need to take care of Ann and Carl first. I had to do the same with my friend who had so many issues. I remember to call weekly but can't visit as frequently. Susi, I am glad the vet helped put your mind to ease. Becky, New Balance is my choice too and I have had both men's and women's in that brand. They have a wider toe bed. www.newbalance.com/women/shoes/wide-shoes/ Zappos is another good site with a large selection of wide widths.

The doc told dh he needs to take an over counter vitamin and then schedule a checkup in a year. This is good news since his eyes look good. Thanks for your positive vibes and prayers. β€οΈ

Hi girls. Pam happy that the eye fix is an easy one. An OTC vitamin is doable. (((Audrey)) praying the increase in Rx doesn't have ill side effects. Yes Audrey. I have done all that I can do to help Donna. I shall take a back seat. I told her that I'm here for her...but JUST her. Her BF gives me the creeps! Thanks for the site on the new balance. MJ after Carl had his knees scraped, his surgeon recommended Asics. I tried them but I prefer the new balance as they run wider. I have a very wide foot and high instep. If you have an Olympia sport, some of the people there are very helpful in finding something comfy. I've also had good luck with Zappos and no questions were asked when I had to make a return. Good luck. Becky again LOVE the avatar I got both of them from Amazon. That is my 'to go to' place to shop these days. Being a prime member has its perks. (((Susi))) sorry that the thunder vests don't work the same on a cat. I wasn't sure but thought I'd throw that out there just the same. I know that LuLa picks up on stress from me or Carl. Could be that Midnight is doing the same. So happy that your Vet took the time to talk to you about Missy. Bless her soul. Thank you for the advice on Donna. I need to keep repeating to myself that I can't FIX her...heck can't even fix myself! I am now going to finish up online and then make a soothing cup of tea, put on some relaxing music and just be!
