The KOKO is so important because many people just quit. We aren’t quitters or we wouldn’t be here. On my cruise there were so many people who were limited by what they could do because of their weight. It’s important IMO to address every meal as a fresh start. We all have so many good habits and have to accept that life happens. Today I have a doctor’s appointment in the late morning. We’re expecting rain in the afternoon and evening. If I find things to keep busy I get a lot of steps just in the house. I will eat healthy meals and drink water, herbal tea and the necessary morning coffee.

I am back on track this morning. I thought about having an egg but opted for beans on toast instead. I am over yesterday and thankful for all of you for the support.
Today I will: * hydrate * eat moderate amounts of vegan foods * tidy the kitchen

Good morning, Ann - Becky - Bee - Audrey - Cathy - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer... and for Son#1, who is slowly getting better and is trying to get more rest <hahahaha>.
⛅️🌤☀️🌤⛅️🌤☀️🌤⛅️
Thanks for your good thoughts yesterday. I was sick. My gut problem resurfaced on Tuesday night and I was up all night. So Toots took over the day stuff (CONGRATS, Toots - you did a masterful job!) and I didn't move until late afternoon. So I didn't get to the Tai Chi class in the morning but I did take the Kressling to soccer practice 6-8 PM (I slept in the car).
No DivaTaxi; Son#1 WFH and he is taking his car to the body shop to have the trunk latch fixed so it at least locks. DDIL is off and will taxi him home and back; she will also handle twoBoyz' soccer practice tonight. MHMR; the Mouseketeer will return to school today. 11:30 AM appt with my medOncologist. Toots will go along and (if my gut stays stable) we will go to Texas Roadhouse or Outback for Thursday Steak Dinner. I found gift cards for both.
I need to get to a WW workshop at least to check in today or tomorrow; we have YM on Saturday (and it's supposed to snow). Maybe on the way to CINJ.
Coffee will help me ease into the day... ☕☕☕...
⛅️🌤☀️🌤⛅️🌤☀️🌤⛅️ Have a healthy-eating day, all! ⛅️🌤☀️🌤⛅️🌤☀️🌤⛅️

Good morning
Ann Yes, stress and/or pain can sap your strength. Sending prayers & positive vibes.
Audrey Well said. Here's to KOKO however that "looks" at any given day. Also embracing fresh starts at every meal is a very helpful strategy. Good to know what is the right balance for your day. If it seems like too much, then I find that can be a good point at which to sit myself and ask, "Is this a good fit for me today?"
becky Oh my. Can not imagine that any cranky joint would care for that temperature fluctuation. Yes, the right shoes make a big difference. Hope you find ones that fit better. Sending lots of prayers.
Bee Linking arms w/ you & are friends here. It Cathy Sending you a big, warm hug. Am sorry that you had that experience,
LaDonna Sorry I was unclear w/ my suggestion. Was thinking that Lakken would like a clerical job and any govt. agency eventually clerical help. Also if she does not have all the skills in place, perhaps she could acquire them & then work for Wildlife & Game. Mj Are you feeling better? Glad Toots could help so that you could rest during the day. Do you think that a pesky chemical is the culprit? Not sure why I am thinking that it is Sorbital that upsets your GI tract.
Pam How did you like the new Curves location? Did you see anyone you know? yes, GPS can be a godsend.
Susi Was just thinking of all the tax related reports & recordkeeping that you & LaDonna are undertaking. Busy time of the year for you.

Good morning all. I got a good 7 hours sleep in and feeling refreshed. Woke up to snow. Carl will go and deal with it. The plow have been by 3 time so far. No clue as to how much we got. They originally said 1-3" but looks like more than that to me.
Becky Bee Audrey yes I so agree with KOKO. I see a lot of people that are over weight also, Audrey. So sad when all they need to do is cut back. I realize it's easier said than done, but it CAN be done. Especially in this day and age where there are so many programs 'out there' and helpful people to get them on the right track. Good luck on your doctor appointment.
MJ glad you are feeling better. Enjoy your weigh watcher meeting.
June thanks for the prayers. Stress just plain stinks. It zaps your body and soul. Praying that the cream works. Keep us posted. Great goals.
Waving to AWF and will CBL

I'll be back for personals. I have been totally stressed out about Midnight. She has had diarrhea since around the time I put Missy down or at least that's when I realized it.. No parasites or blood in the stools. As this point vet thinks stress is a contributing factor. Anti diarrhea meds and probiotics for 5 days. I'm much relieved at the moment.

Work is good - getting caught up on some things. Today will be OP. Will try again for a walk - got a short on in yesterday.
Ann, enjoy the snow! I currently am enjoying the AC LOL
Becky, I'm so sorry you had a bad day yesterday - hope your eye is ok. HUGS
Bee, thanks Bee - for you as well.
Audrey, its sad to see people limited due to their weight. I could have easily been one of those. Hope to never be "there" again. Hope your appt goes well.
Cathy, good idea to move on Cathy and not dwell on the negative! bean toast sounds interesting. I love hummus on toast so I guess that's pretty similar.
Mj, hope you are better!
June, that is a great suggestion. She actually thought about a degree for that but then changed her mind. Guess that is what I was thinking about. I pray you and R make the best decisions for the best outcomes and that your moms cream works.
Susi, sorry about Midnight - I wondered about stress due to her new location/surroundings etc. Let us know how its going.

LOL LaDonna...enjoy the AC Carl is back out there dealing with it. Happy your are getting caught up. Enjoy your walk. My walking will be indoors. I'm far to much of a klutz to attempt walking in the snow. Besides, with no sidewalks and the way some folks drive in this, I best stay home. Yesterday I clocked in over 10,000 steps house walking. As Audrey pointed out...the key to that is to keep busy. Speaking of which...time to shut down the desktop and do just that

Good Morning I felt so good yesterday but today I woke up with chest pain and sweating and did not take the early walk. I don't know what caused it but needed a pill for anxiety. My housekeeper came today and gave me a natural homeopathic stress remedy that helps her and her mom. Anyway I will walk soon and am glad I see the doctor at 11:30. Cathy, glad today will be a better day. MJ, so sorry the gut issues returned but bravo to Toots for taking over the responsibilities. Hope you get more rest and can make your appointment with the medoncologist. Hoping this is a better day for you. Susi, stress is even affecting Midnight. What is it with stress that can cause so many issues. I pray the meds with work. June, and stress for your mom too. Is it a CBD cream? I only ask because I have one I forget to use and it is helpful.

(((Audrey))) feel better. So happy that you are seeing your doctor today at 11:30. Also bless your housekeepers soul for giving you a natural homeopathic stress remedy that worked for you.
I know a lot of people that use CBD cream. I don't know a thing about them, so I stay away. Which one do you use, Audrey?
