Good morning.
This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
Feel free to jump in and join us. All are welcome here.
Our motto is persistence, not perfection

Good morning everyone.
I STRUGGLED yesterday. DH and I are arguing and I finally told Dad about my DA on top of some work issues. I really wanted to sit and work my way through a 1/2 gallon of ice cream or a cake or heck, anything. We had a catered lunch at work yesterday that had the most amazing smelling pound cake. I left work and went to Starbucks and got a cold brew and text with a dear friend who helped me off the ledge. I also went and turned the keys in for the apartment, so that is done. I did some browsing at a store and bought 2 small planters so I could finally plant the stuff that my Aunt gave me while I was in NC.
I had put a chuck roast in the slow cooker yesterday so that was ready when I got home from work. It smelled amazing. I planted my new succulents and then worked on the rest of dinner.
I managed to be a little over on my calories yesterday but I was within my macros. I didn't binge anything. I am glad I got through the day without turning to food for comfort. SO today I don't have to feel guilty for something I did yesterday.
Lora I hope you get some sunshine. I think you are handling the dad situation wonderfully. You do what you need to do for your mental health, you are the only person who knows what that is. I hope Mark's bday goes wonderful.
Susie Yes, please come declutter my house for me. I honestly could just take EVERYTHING on the pool table right now to the dump. The only hesitation I have is it belonged to my mother and I don't want to have any regrets that I didn't take more time with it and regret not keeping something.
Andi oh logging into Network issues are the worst. I often feel like throwing my laptop into a wall LOL. I am glad they were able to get you on. I hope you got to enjoy some of your sunshine.
So I left the azaleas - I can always plant one in my mom's memory wherever I end up. I have a massage scheduled this afternoon that I am REALLY looking forward to.
I hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning friends!
Another overcast day here. We had some very heavy rain last night, but that seems to have passed and now it's just grey and a bit dreary...AGAIN. Lol. We've got an arctic blast headed in for the weekend, but it's just supposed to bring cold temps, no precipitation. So that's probably a good thing.
Jana - So yesterday sounds like a hard struggle, BUT you made it through! Yay YOU!! Enjoy your massage!
Nothing exciting planned here today. Just hanging out and taking it easy. The coffee seems extra good this morning.

Hello All...overslept so did not make my gym class (it is my least fav anyway), but I did get to DD's for our morning walk. I left from there and met DH at LLI for my Alexander Hamilton lecture, then we went out to lunch, and made a quick stop at COSTCO. I am at home now and about to lie down and read for a bit before I have to go to a meeting at 7:00 this evening.
My stomach is really upset...don't know what is going on so I am going to try to just drink water for the next few hours.
Jana - yippee for making it through the day without turning to food..good for you! How did your DF react to the news? Hope the massage is wonderful.
Lora - It is pretty pleasant here today, but the c-c-cold is due tomorrow and for the next week at least... I have a feeling that winter will definitely be here.
Waving to everyone...
