Glad you had a good night of sleep Ann. Stay warm and dry. Carl is a blessing to you and the neighborhood. Enjoy Nora's performance. LOL on Bob with the steak. I love steak and eat it often. Just smaller portions than I used to. Becky - Sending lots of warm knee wishes. Hope you find some helpful bandages. Glad you have an appointment next week. Yep, we mostly know why the scale does what it does. Tostadas sound good Cathy June - Good news about R and a good approach with mom. We are only supposed to get a light coating at most before it turns to rain. What a GREAT spin class. She leans toward heavy metal which is perfect when you really want to push hard. Last climb was a song called Blue on Black that really drives me. I have it playing in the background now. Buffalo chicken thigh with Bolthouse blue cheese dressing and celery is my brunch. Planning on making the WW vegetable egg rolls later.

Becky Hope that you find a brace that helps you. If WM does not have what you want, maybe a drug store or medical supply store would. Good luck! I would not know what to buy.
Can only hope that you find relief soon.
Am relieved to get the doctor's report rather than guess & wonder. That it is good news is an answer to prayers. Was nice to have a more upbeat visit w/ mom.
Will try to check back later.

Susi Perfect to have some hard butt music to pump up your spinning class. Great food choices for maximum flavor & suited to a weekend.
Thx. Relieved to finally "know" and to get good newsπΈπΈπΈπΈπ¦π¦π¦π¦ Agreed. I figured that it was a good approach not to keep focusing on her legs & any lingering discomfort. Worked well.
Checked weather again. Rain is predicted from noon through the night. No point in shoveling & salting. Enjoy your day!

LOL June on the flying insects. Y'all know how much I just LOVE summer because of them Great to hear that your strategy worked and your DM is doing better. You are such an attentive daughter. Pat yourself on the back for that and two pats for being a caring wife We sometimes are all guilty of not giving ourselves credit for all that we do. Enjoy that bubble bath and add an extra cup of tea with the 'good stuff' to make your day more special! Becky I hear you on the drop in barometric pressure. That raises heck with my body as well. Actually I would prefer to have snow over rain any day. At least when it snows the temps are warmer...when it rains and is so damp and my bones and implant ache much more. Carl said that we should look into moving to a warmer climate. Because I don't like heat or change the answer is a big fat no, but I did thank him for thinking of me. Besides, at this stage of the game, I am not willing to get used to something 'brand new'. Hope you found a good brace to help you along. Lots of people swear by the copper lined braces. I've never used them. Keep us posted. Susi thanks for the compliment for Carl. Yes so many people enjoy the service he provides. A lot of them are widows or just older and can't DO what they used to DO. He's always willing to lend a helping hand and whatever they choose to give him he accepts with a smile. Glad that your spin class was a good fit for you. I love the bolthouse dressings. Enjoy the WW veggie egg rolls. Let us know how they come out. They are still saying 4-8" of snow. Down from the 10" of yesterday! All of our shopping and returns are done, so no big deal what Mother Nature decides to drop on us. Luckily our Walmart wasn't crowded. I guess lots of people went yesterday Need to put something together for lunch. I'm thinking a nice hot bowl of veggie bean soup with carrot sticks and hummus. Will CBL

Ann Agrees no w/ Susi. Carl's snowblowing is a blessing. Can understand how you would what to avoid or limit big changes.
Thx for the kind words. Bubble bath yet to come. Enjoy your bean soup. Yum.
Ha ha ha. . . Yep,I recall how much you do not love the flying nuisanceswhenyou walk.

Slept late and planning a quiet day. We will go to church tonight. Meals will be planned and tracked and hydrating and movement will continue as I smile and aim for blue.
Have a healthy day everyone.

Glad to hear R's vertebrae are fused and hope the next surgery goes just as well, June. I remember I used to avoid asking my mom "how are you?' It would result in a negative reaction. Ann, Carl must get lots of exercise with everything he does for everyone. Susi, I am glad spin was so good. Cathy, I love tostadas. Becky, it was 36 when we woke up so I convinced Bob to walk later. He had a sore throat so I told him to take the Robistussin and he seems to be better. The ballet was cute and we got our grocery shopping done. We had lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant. He had pho and I had won ton soup. Now he and our son are pruning the rose bushes. How are your knees today? Pam, I hope you get another "blue" day.

Susi Thanks for the good wishes.I did find a knee brace at Walmart but it doesn't help.I got out an old knee brace I never quite got the hang of but it seems to help me walk a little better. Not fast but a little better.Problem is I tire out so quickly from trying to get in any kind of exercise.I am glad you enjoyed spin.I couldn't keep up with that kind of music.
June Although I found one at Walmart I'm using this old one I ordered from Amazon about a year ago.I am leaning toward telling the ortho surgeon to schedule the knee replacement although for some reason the thought of it has my nerves on end.I know it needs to be done so I don't know why I'm a nervous wreck about it.I'm glad your mom was more upbeat.
Ann The sun finally came out but with breezy wind. It's just now down to 61.I did find a copper fit knee brace and it was a little more than I wanted to spend. It was called a recovery brace and had a place for heat and ice. After the surgery I might get it but not yet.I am glad I gave these New Balance sneakers a second chance.I'm getting used to them more now.
Audrey I'm glad Bob is feeling better. We are still at 61 degrees but it is supposed to be in the upper 30's by morning.I hope you enjoyed your lunch. The knee is still hurting but trying to keep the brace on as much as possible.I'm seriously leaning toward the knee replacement though.Does Bob still want steak for dinner?

Audtey Carl has lots of nervous energy so him keeping busy is a must. Happy the OTC is helping Bob. Glad you enjoyed Vietnamese food. When we lived in Worcester our neighbor was Vietnamese and the foods she prepared were tasty.
Becky yes that's the brace I was referring to. Don't blame you for holding off. Also surgery is nerve wracking to deal with. You are in my prayers.
It's snowing lightly here and has been since about 2 pm. Lord knows how much we'll end up with.
