44ΒΊ is definitely too cold for this far south. I am almost a frozen log. LOL
Dinner tonight is fajitas made with pork loin cooked in green chilies, along with a huge veggie salad. It is so good. I just tasted.
I wonder if when you shiver cause you're cold that counts as burning calories? Just curious.
I am AWARE, ABLE and WILLING.
Hope ALL have a great day!

Audrey Great goals.I hope you got your errands done.
Ann Great goals as usual.
Cathy You always have good goals.WTG on your exercise.Propane is for our gas heater. With propane so expensive we can't afford to get another tank to cook with.We also have an electric heater but it has been cooler lately so in the mornings we have been running both.
June Today it is warmer in the house. We are only using the electric heater right now since it's 63 outside. That's surprising because our high was supposed to be 59 and we were supposed to have a cloud cover in advance of tomorrow's cool and rainy day. They are predicting a 90% chance of rain tomorrow but still not over 1/2" of rain.I don't understand it.We really need the rain.Good for you and all your walking. When is R's surgery?
Ann I'm glad you woke up refreshed. That is just too cold for me.
Susi I'm glad Midnight isn't acting like she feels bad.Enjoy the wine with old gym buddies.

LaDonna I'm glad you enjoyed the wedding and exploring.I'm sorry about the delay due to the accident traffic.WTG for maintainng your weight over the weekend. Are you still going to WW meetings?
Ann 14 is still too cold for me.It's a good thing I live in Central TX.I couldn't walk in cold like that.If you do bundle up.I'm glad you are almost pain free.
Audrey It sounds like a good idea for Bob to cancel his eye surgery for now.I'm glad he is feeling some better.
Pam Good for you for being accountable.
Bee We have been in the 30's the last 3 mornings and that's cold for here too.At least it has warmed up during the days.Your dinner sounds great. If we burn calories due to shivering I would be skinny after yesterday.
If I had any doubts about needing a knee replacement they are gone today. This has been the worst day for hurting.Friday can't come too soon to see the ortho surgeon.

Glad you had a nice weekend LaDonna Cancelling sounds like a good idea Audrey Hi Pam! Sounds delicious Bee. And yes shivvering does burn calories but not significant LOL Becky - That past few weeks it has been sounding like the pain has been getting worst. Glad you are now open to the surgery. Hope the appointment goes well. June - Do you have a venison stew recipe you can share? I have a venison roast in the freezer that I want to cook this weekend. Thanks

Ann Nice that you slept well last night and have no pain today. Definitely there is a time when some aspects in life p-- like pain management-- take precedence.
Audrey Praying that Bob is not too uncomfortable after the tooth extraction. Completely understand your argument in favor of delaying the eyelid surgery. Hoping that Bob will, too.
LaDonna Super! Excitied for you. Mainataining after a wedding getaway is an achievement. Sounds like you had a great weekend in. WIlmington, NC. We only visited the battleship, "North Carolina" on which my uncle served during WW II.
Know that you will do what you need to slip back into your routine. Ha ha ha. . . Cold is relative. When the wind wasn't blowing, the 20s felt tolerable today.
There's a part of me that wishes we could delay R's elbow surgery and another part that wish I would have pushed the issue more. The reality is that R's body is much better prepared for another operation than he would have been 4-6 weeks ago. And hi snurse is likewise in a better place.
Susi Good that your group can gather and support each other during difficult times.
Pam Writing down goals, making lists, and tracking help a great deal. Good intentions, good plans, and good execution sure help.

geminigrl, yes the wind is definitely the problem. glad you are both in better place susiq25679,, I like to cook my venison roast in the crock pot with some beef broth and a package of lipton onion soup mix. Separately I cook rice and carrots and add to the stew after it is done like a purlough. I know you watch sodium so this may not be to your liking. borntexan, definitely decide with your doctor what is best for you situation. I'll just say that Randy was very happy with his knee replacement. He put it off and put it off but finally could not take it anymore. His was outpatient and all went very smoothly.

I have very low sodium stock (140 mg per cup) and I also have sodium free beef bullion which can help control the sodium. Thanks!
