Susi about 15 years ago, when still living in Worcester, we were treated for my bday to this very high tech restaurant. I ordered a glass of wine and nearly Choked when I saw that it was $10.00 a glass. Even though we were being 'treated' I couldn't allow myself to get another. LOL We also used to frequent the BYOB places. Here, in 'hicks-ville' they don't offer that type of restaurant, so we do our wine drinking at home. Carl will not have a glass and drive, so it works out for us LOL.
LaDonna, right now our temperature is 34 with the real feel of 30. Much nicer than it's been. Yeah to an OP day.
We did our shopping and Carl forgot about making the deposit so he went back out. I'm going to read a bit now.

Iām home from working out at Curves and then a quick stop at the grocery store. I always feel better after working out. My meals are planned and will be tracked. Iām focusing on hydrating with more water. I will continue to move as well. I will continue to smile as I aim for blue.

Good for you LaDonna. No, he is based in Seattle. I think I have only seen him once since he enlisted although we do keep in touch in sporadic touch. I wasn't sure if his ship was going to be deployed to the Middle East but it wasn't.

Cathy I hope things get better in your country soon.
June The brace ended up hurting more than helping.I got an older one out and used it in HEB and Walmart but after going to get our haircuts and came home in the rain I took it off.It doesn't seem to hurt quite as badly but it does still hurt.I believe someone comes to the house for a couple of days for PT after the surgery.I hope you were able to buy or order new shoes. What kind are you looking for?I don't mind leftovers but it can get old if too much is cooked.
Ann I'm glad you slept well again.I couldn't stand the winters you have.I live in TX for a reason.Kenneth is good about cooking dinner.I have eaten more protein.I know I need to build my body up if I'm going to have surgery.I know it's not set in stone yet but I will see how it's doing by my appointment Friday.
Bee Praying for you as well.
Susi Unfortunately the brace isn't a good fit but I am working on eating more.I'm glad you enjoyed the brewery with the girls.Enjoy the meeting and your visit with Cheryl. You are a great friend.

Pam Good for you for going to Curves.I really miss ours.
Susi I'm sorry you won't get to see your nephew.

Good luck Becky. New England weather is what it is. Normally cold dosen't bother me. This year it is. I don't mind snow but not ice and absolutely love fall. That's my favorite season of all.
Susi happy he is not going to the middle East.
We had a rather early supper. I'll probably have carrot sticks and hummus as a snack.

Dinner was garlic rustic mashed taters, topped with the pork/green chilies and a large raw veggie salad --- no dressing.
Hope ALL have a good night.
