Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning Joyce, thanks for the start up. I guess you are busy doing things around your house.
Ruth, I’m sure you are enjoying your vacation in Hawaii. When does DD and family head home?
It was cold here this morning, low 30s. Right now it is almost 50. Our friend is due in today around noon. It will be cool for Florida but it was in the low teens when she left Connecticut. I went to the store early this morning to pick up some fresh fruits. I feel the condo is ready so now I plan on doing some reading while waiting for our friend.

Good morning (last one this trip) from Maui. We are pretty much packed; have an owner’s meeting this morning; then will spend the day entertaining the kiddos before our 9:30 pm flight! Long day with little structure! Stan got a call the other day and his ablation has been moved from March 12 to next Tuesday. We need to get home and get organized for that. He has to have a pre-op physical and blood work done Monday. Then be there at 6 am Tuesday. Ugh!!! Older DD changed her work schedule to come help me. She’ll drive if there’s snow or night driving. Younger DD is going to take Mara since we were supposed to have her. Off to get dressed, finish packing, and head to our meeting. Then get checked out and the girls are going ocean swimming again to kill some time. Have a good day and I’ll report in from either Seattle or Mpls.

Good afternoon,
I did start a post, but got a phone call from a friend. She fell on a patch of ice and broke her wrist. She’s all swollen and in a great deal of pain. Reminded me to ‘walk like a penguin ‘ because drives and parking lots are icy.
Went to WW and was up .4. I knew I’d be up, expected more so I’m happy with that small gain. Coworker lost .4, so we balance each other out. Coach reminded us that Spring is 8 weeks away, told us to decide where we want to be in 8 weeks, either a certain pound loss, or back into an outfit that is too tight, something to reach for. I know my summer focus is fitting into my way too tight capris, would like to see 10# off by Spring.
Ruth - your vacation went by way too fast.
Dottie - I heard how cold it was in Florida, hope that changes fast.
See ya tomorrow
